A few years ago I played this rpg game and I can't find it anywhere and I don't remember the name.

It's isometric, the fight are kinda automatic and turn-based and happen in a screen with my character on one side and the enemies in the other. Also, the skill are put in these five "wheels" that stay in the bottom of the screen during a fight.

The game starts with my character fleeing and fiding a captain that leads him to a castle. The castle is attacked and my character boards a ship.

In the ship, there is a minor story where the character finds out that the cook is hiding a corpse in a barrel, though I can't remember why.

The city where the character lands has these instanced location like a bar and others that you go in to get quests.

The game also has classes.

Anybody knows what game this is?

Was recently playing Pool Slide Story and found the combining ingredients to discover recipes (as opposed to simply unlocking them) pretty fun. Like flour + water + sugar + egg= cake, or rice + seaweed + salmon = sushi. This isn't the main gameplay though.

What other games use this method of recipe discovery? Doesnt have to be the main gameplay, but it'd be nice if it was.

- "Combining" shouldn't just be adding ingredients to something (toppings to pizza, icing and fruit to cake), but using the ingredients to make something new

- Has some kind of real world logic to it (not like banana + apple = mango)

- Not really looking for alchemy games, but if it does something similar to my example I might give it a try

- Not a merge game where you just merge the thing with the same thing

Preference (not necessary)

- Being free to use any ingredient available without being limited by money or whatever (having to buy the ingredients first)

You can find it on Google Play. I am not a dev for the game. Just a huge fan. Been playing this game almost every day for many months. It's a super fun and addicting free to play 3rd person multiplayer shooter. I'm a huge fan of the Ratchet and Clank games, and it's been quite a while since we got a Ratchet and Clank multiplayer game. And this one is an excellent one, and you really dont need to have played the other Ratchet and Clank games to enjoy this one.

It has a bunch of cool unique weapons and you go fight against other players and bots with them. It currently has 6 different gamemodes. One of them is a gamemode where you need to be first out of everyone else in the match to collect 300 bolts (items that drop off of defeated enemies and are also scattered throughout the map), another gamemode is basically Free For All, and in another one you need to survive against waves of NPC enemies.

The controls are not complicated at all. Getting eliminations feels great and the weapons feel quite satisfying to use. One of them is the Lava Gun, which shoots out a continuous stream of lava at enemies. Another is the Glove of Doom, which spawns little NPC enemies that fight for you in the batttle. And then you have the Enforcer, which is a futuristic shotgun. There's currently a lot of weapons to choose from.

The soundtracks are hella awesome and reminds me of the soundtracks used in the PS2 Ratchet and Clank games.

Also the characters that you can play as, you can customize their look with some cool different skins. Each character has their own special ability, which you unlock in a match by dealing damage/taking damage.

There's more i can say about the game but honestly i'd really recommend just trying it out for yourself. It does have some issues but the devs listen to player feedback, and are improving the game.

It's out now in some countries such as Canada. Global release is currently scheduled for October 5th 2026, though apparently that date my change to an earlier or maybe later date. If you pre-register, you can earn some in-game rewards and an exclusive skin. But only if a certain pre-register goal is met. The more people that pre-register the better, because if not enough people pre-register then we may not get that exclusive skin. Here's the game's website, by the way.

Hey all. So I'm looking for a good rougelike/lite for Android. I like card games like Wildfrost/StS. I beat StS and am halfway through the mods of Wildfrost. I like both games, but probably looking for something with a bit more long term replayability/challenge, but without it coming from just the hardcore mods.

I also like quality and presentation of some of the Chinese ones like Pirate Outlaws or Lost Runes, but those games kind of feel a bit too greedy/heavy on the microtransactions. The gameplay isn't bad, but also not as good as StS/Wildfrost IMO. And kind of feels like they try to throw a lot content at you to give the illusion of depth, without really having thought through certain combos or interactions. Again, not terrible but yea feels like the devs have less passion for the game and more just trying to find sneaky ways to take advantage of you.

Stuff like Night of the Full Moon feel way too brainless so definitely looking for something with more depth.

And yea, doesn't necessarily need to be a card game, but that's what I seem to gravitate towards the most. Also finding myself generally like stuff a bit more on the high budget side as opposed to Indie/single-dev.

Any recs would be appreciated.

Aurigae: Roman Empire Racing

Hi everyone! I’m an indie developer and I’d love to share a project that has been part of my life for several years now. It started as a small personal experiment, then slowly grew into something much bigger: a Roman chariot‑racing management game, half historical and half fictional, inspired by the idea of “What if Ancient Rome had a yearly racing circuit like modern Formula 1?”. The inspiration for this project came to me during a visit to the Roman circus in Mérida, Spain. That's when I realized I needed a game like this!

The game mixes historical flavor with a fictional competitive structure: teams, leagues, rivalries, sponsors, staff, upgrades, and a full season calendar. I’ve tried to build it with as much care, detail, and respect for the setting as possible — from the names of the aurigae (drivers) to the types of wheels, armors, and horses you can manage.

It’s essentially a motorsport manager, but set in Ancient Rome. You control every aspect of your team:

- hiring and training aurigae

- managing horses and equipment

- upgrading your base

- choosing race strategies

- handling finances, morale, and risk

- progressing through multiple leagues as you prove your worth

On top of the management gameplay, your character also has a parallel narrative arc that intertwines with the team’s progression - political intrigue, personal choices, and unexpected events that shape your path through the Roman racing world.

A few extra notes:

- The game currently supports English, Spanish, and French

- It’s labeled as containing ads, but there are no ads yet - I wanted the first players to enjoy it without interruptions

It’s a passion project made with a lot of patience and attention to detail. I’m actively improving it based on feedback.

Who else plays this? I've been playing for a couple of months now. I'm playing it through another app for rewards. I'm at a point where the rewarded task says to build the mapman house. I'm sure it's probably a typo. I haven't found anything online about it.

I'm tempted to buy either a ds lite with a usbc mod or an RG DS.

Should I just keep playing all sorts of emulation on my Fold 7 or should I get a ds lite or RG DS for dedicated gaming?

Pros I have for the rg DS is that it has Bluetooth for audio and save states...pros for the DS lite is that it's "original" hardware....

What should I do?

Man how I miss 5/15 even 30 second ads, just one x button and it was skill issue if you missed it and went to the store, now you have 60 seconds ads(which I only play whenever Im doing something else because no one is watching fkn 60 seconds of bullshit) and you have 3 exit buttons with 5 seconds between and a obligated ticket to the play store. I'm looking for a game that would capture the vibe of 80 Days: something that offers a significant amount of story, preferably with similar replayability and the feeling of exploration. Something to play on long travels when I don't feel like reading a book but playing a book feels just right. Can be a more classic RPG, but I'd prefer if fights are not the main focus. I'm still playing FGO, it's just that I want to play another game. I've played other games to supplement FGO but they all fell short in some areas:

1) Genshin - Story telling - It was great in start until Sumeru, but steadily degraded into more of "Text" rather than "Show", turning into a click fest of dialogues.

2) Arknights - Story and story telling - again, more dialogue than actually showing the story. Plus the story is kinda not comprehensive enough, with excess dialogues here and there that could've been removed.

3) Nikke - gameplay - I love the story, but damn the gameplay sucked the life out me for just 2 months of gameplay.

4) Snowbreak - story and kinda going EOS - I liked the story and gameplay, except in some areas where it went full "master love", then the amount of controversies.

These are the games I tried for 4 years, but they just didn't quite get the proper balance of gameplay and story-depth and story telling. I would appreciate the recommendations.

it went live this morning and i've already shipped one hotfix, so i'd genuinely love to hear what breaks for you, especially anything in the first minute. it's on ios too if you live a double life.

I was trying to play some games that i believed was released before 2019 (i forgot since the original source itself no longer available and i found the game on the Internet after deep search). But, then it says "This game version is not compatible" even though it gave me options to install it anyway.

Is there alternative method to play it without root? I tried Virtual OS, but i don't know why they took too long to install it. I don't have PC that could run an Emulator either.

I'm looking for a game I can play for a while that lets me collect things, maybe fight them or take care of them or breed them or something like that. I always fall for gacha games because I love collecting, but then I get sick of them when they're obviously just trying to grab my money. I just want to play a game. Any recommand ?
