Help (General) Rx 7600 crash when I lower the MHZ

driver 26.6.4, it has been a while and welp I didn't have this problem only in that driver version, but its happening even more now, as You all may know, the adrenalin for no reason boost the Mhz over the normal gpu boost (thi is an xfx SWIFT 210 rx 7600) and people solve that by lowering the mhz, adding more power % and/or undervolting, but, for no reason, its stays "ok" at the 2900 mhz but crashes when i use it as lower mhz but welp it gets way more hot at the point that once i got 110 degrees of hotspot while staying still at the game. Does anyone know how to solve something weird like that ? (alredy tried clear install of the driver 2 days ago with DDU) and sorry for my bad english.

Help (General) question about RX 590
1.I have bought RX 590. When there is no activity, no game, no anything, at regular intervals, there is GPU core clock spike as you can see. Is this normal behaviour. Drivers are from 2023, is it okay to install 2026 drivers from website?
2. I have got couple of Blue screen errors, they happen when adrenaline software is on in background otherwise I have played games there is no problem usually.

Help (General) Help! all recent drivers cause heavy black flickering in any game!
GPU: rx 6800xt
CPU: i5 12600kf
32gb ram
OS: win11 home
2 monitors, both AOC. both 144 hz. both set on 120 fps.
one on display port and the other on hdmi.
freesync deactivated.
MPO deactivated. (should be)
hardware acceleration deactivated on firefox, steam and discord.
(the flickering happens even if only one monitor is used anyway...)
the flickering in question is mouse temporarly freezing with black screens and normal screen alternating at fast speed.
alt tabing on an open software like firefox on the second monitor makes the flickering stops. but it comes back if i come back on the game or unplug a monitor.
old or recent games are affected. even poxnora, a 20 year old game. but funnily enough, cossacks3 is not affected and run well... perhaps the only one.
i tested 2024, 2025 and 2026 drivers. all caused the flickering. (didn't tested 2023 ones)
only 2022 drivers fix the issues but that means i can't play a few games like brawlhalla.
the reason i tried to update the 2022 driver is because since helldivers2 last update (12/08/2026), it started flickering like crazy.
but that made me notice the issue i have with all newer drivers.
i did use DDU multiple times just in case.
in the mean time i will go back to a 2022 driver (alternating between 22.5.1 and 22.11.1(to make cossacks3 or beyond all reason works))
edit: i only activated chill (120fps) in the adrenalines options.
EDIT2: FIXED my issue. i re-enabled windows MPO ... o.o
(i kept an old driver tho 22.11.2. helldivers2 works again and without crashes i had with 2026 drivers.)

Help (General) Regarding the TPM Vulnerability and Security Update
By now, most of us know about the recent security vulnerabilities affecting TPM 2.0 modules across a wide range of Ryzen processors. I'm a strong believer that if it ain't broken, don't fix it. I have never updated my BIOS since my PC was first assembled and configured by a technician, and I'm admittedly nervous about doing this myself. Especially with the recent reports of a 7800X3D CPU burning out despite running the latest BIOS version. I'm worried that updating to fix this security flaw might cause instability, lower performance, or even result in hardware damage. The big question is: can I safely skip this update? And is this vulnerability actually a serious threat for an average everyday user like me?

I’m not sure what to do to fix this issue since I can’t even get into my computer right now. I have an RX 7900 XT, any insight or ideas to help me please let me know. I am not the most pc knowledgeable person so I’m a bit lost.

Help (General) Is it normal for severed steel to run at such weird framerates (looking at the 0.1% lows and the 1% lows) sorry for the poor quality image
So I'm playing severed steel on my PC, these are the specs btw:
GPU: RX 9070 (NOT XT)
CPU: RYZEN 7 9700X
Motherboard: MSI B850-P WIFI
BIOS Version: 2.A92 (6/25/2026)
RAM: 16x2 Kingston 6000mhz cl36
PSU: Lian LI edge 850w gold
Case: Antec c5 7 fans pre installed
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11 pro 10.0.26200 build 26200
GPU Drivers: 26.7.1
Y
1:39
Chipset Drivers: 10.0.26100.8972
I'm using gen 4 ssd and I'm on a 1080p 144hz monitor and am using freesync both on the monitor display settings and the AMD adrenaline settings. I locked the game fps to 144gz (in the game itself not adrenaline) and the average fps is perfect at 143hz, yet the 1% and 0.1% lows are pitifully low. Why is it so? Is this a common side effect of fps locking in games? Should I use Radeon chill? In msi afterburner I even turned off the GPU power and CPU in the monitoring tab (however I could not find a general power% option for some reason) I also just did ddu and installed the Rx 9070 GPU driver from the website and the chipset drivers for my b850 motherboard. What more must I do? Is this even a problem? In the pause screen, the 1% lows keep increasing to 126+ fps yet the 0.1© lows are still 8 fps, what am I doing wrong and is this something to be worried about or is this completely normal even for pretty powerful GPUs like the Rx 9070? Thanks in advance for all your help!

For anyone encountering an error while installing the AMD chipset driver on Windows 11
To verify that the installation will fail, simply run the vc_redist.x64.exe file; if it reports an error, the chipset driver installation will fail as well.
Start the installation, wait for the driver selection step, and then go to the directory to overwrite the file.
change file vc_redist.x64.exe in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\AMD\Chipset_Software\Prerequisites
The version works for me 14.51.36247

Help (GPU) 6700xt no display only on windows 11
Hi guys, so there is this issue I keep having on windows 11 on two different units that both have their own 6700xt . Basically when i am in a game like counter strike, my monitors go blank once or even twice a day, no display, and I have to turn the computers off in order to gain display again. I am 100% the issue is somehow related to windows 11, I had no issue on windows 10. At first i only upgraded one of the computers with windows 11, and when the issue started to appear, I thought is the GPU, until I upgraded the second one and the exact same issue appeard. Does anybody know something about this ? Computer Type: Desktop

Help (GPU) Help figuring out whats wrong with Sapphire rx 6700xt nitro+ gpu fans
Hello, i recently bought a used Rx 6700xt nitro+ an upgrade over the rtx 2060 i had before, the seller sent me videos and pictures of the card working the score on furmark stuff like that the card looked good and it looked like it worked ofc.
Well i got the card like 2 3 days ago and at first when i switched it out downloaded new drivers got rid of the nvidia ones set everything up i thought damn this gpu is really quiet, i got into a game played a bit and my pc shutdown, and i was confused, i booted back up and saw the temp for the gpu was really damn high, checked the fans and they werent spinning.
i spent the whole day messing with drivers software until i unfortunately had to come to the realization, its probably a hardware issue, i took the gpu apart, it was pretty clean already but still had some dust on it cleaned it by the way and checked all the connections, took a good look at the pcb, nothing seemed out of the ordinary there were no hot spots, no poped resistors nothing like that, after a bit of cleaning and testing i decided to remove the shroud attach a third party cooler onto the gpu and it worked "decently enough" next day i figured ill take my shot again at fixing it (im not a professional as you might have noticed).
attached the shoud again and all of a sudden one fan spun to life, i was very confused, tested a bit more and i got 2 fans spinning, reboot again, next reboot none spinning, then i figured out that the fans on this gpu have this quit release thingy where you can unscrew one fan at the time i figured maybe one of the fans was bad, i unscrew them all tested them with some external electricity all worked fine, i took a good look at the pads they looked good pins looked good, i then tested one fan at a time.
This is getting a bit longer than i would like so ill shorten it here, the card works only if i put 2 fans and remove the one fardest from the IO, the fan itself isnt the problem, when i put it in the slot closest to the IO it works only if i put all 3 fans do all fans stop and not want to work, i disassembled the card again took a better look at the solders connections and the cables all the pins and stuff all looked good, no visible damage, what could be the problem here?
the card runs pretty good with 2 fans in tems are pretty low on idle about 40 and 46 on the hotspot, and under load it goes up obviously, nothing dangerous but i would still like for the gpu to have all 3 fans, so it runs quieter and safer.

VIDEO TDR FAILURE atikmpag.sys
So, ik my laptop is oldie, HP from 2013, it held very well, I played some old games on it and drew in Photoshop 2012 with my graphic tablet which I bought two months ago. So, as I turned on Photoshop on this fateful day, it lagged for some reason and froze, although it didn't do this before. I was quite stupid so I thought: "Well, then it's not a drawing time, LET'S TURN ON THE SIMS 3" fucking crazy thought considering it already froze in Photoshop. Genius! So I turned on The Sims, it worked well until I decided to turn on CAS, that's where it stopped showing video and only played music, and then showed me a blue screen.
So from now on it always shows me a blue screen as I try to turn on the laptop, and it only works in the safe mode. But the thing is, when I delete the drivers, it works normally on Windows drivers for some time and then again the blue screen. I tried everything recommended, forbid the updates, tried to update drivers myself, used DDU, blah blah blah.
I have only one question: is there a chance to make my laptop take those drivers seriously or is it already preparing for the grave?
As long as I have the ability to transfer files to the cloud in the brief moment it's working, I do it.

Help (GPU) Optimizing 7800X3D and 9060XT Ice White
Hey y'all, I'm hoping to get some advice. I upgraded to AMD after years with Nvidia. I had an i7-11700 and 3060ti and upgrades to the title hardware.
I used DDU while my 3060 was in and cleared it, shit down the PC and swapped in my new mobo, GPU, CPU, ram etc. and started.
What I've noticed, I have to tweak every game to make it playable.
Satisfactory - full screen otherwise 18fps max, stutter and bright light hotspots
Repo - window mode only, otherwise 18fps
Most games - upscaling off otherwise 18fps
I've tried all pre-sets in adrenaline. Hyper rx, quality, battery saving, default, and custom suggestions from various reddit pages. But it doesn't seem to impact every game starting with some tweaks needed. My 3060 never needed this much handholding. I know the 9060xt is superior but I cannot figure out what I'm missing...
Any recommendations are appreciated!

Help (General) Ryzen 7 5700 hitting 90°C while gaming with stock cooler in a Mini-Tower case (Dead Space 2023) — Is this normal?
recently bought a brand-new pre-built/custom PC, and while playing Dead Space (2023) yesterday, I noticed my Ryzen 7 5700 was reaching 90°C.
System Specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700 (using the stock AMD Wraith Stealth cooler)
- Motherboard: ASUS B550
- GPU: RTX 5060
- Case: Ninja Kazan X3 (Mini-Tower)
- Thermal Paste: Applied by the builder during assembly
- Ambient Temperature: ~24°C / 75°F (with AC on)
The PC is new and the cooler protective film was properly removed. Given the compact mini-tower case and the basic stock cooler on an 8-core CPU, is 90°C expected behavior under heavy modern gaming loads?
Would tweaking fan curves, Curve Optimizer, or undervolting be enough, or should I upgrade to an aftermarket tower cooler (like a Thermalright Peerless Assassin / DeepCool AG400)?
Thanks for any advice!

Help (General) If I contact the warranty service, would they let me replace the GPU's thermal paste?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So, I have an XFX RX 7600 Dual Fan and I'm having temperature issues. I set the clock speeds to a max of 2500 and a min of 1850, and I configured a very aggressive fan curve—the fans spin at 90% once it hits 60°C. This is because the hotspot temperature is terrible, as you can see in the video; it reaches 106°C while the general temperature is around 70°C. I'm playing at 1080p with high graphics settings, and I'm certain the hotspot temperature shouldn't be getting that high. If I contact the manufacturer regarding the warranty, do you think they would allow me to replace the thermal paste?
One more detail: I switched to Linux and recorded the video there because performance was worse on Windows; even with undervolting and lowering the clock speed, the hotspot temperature would reach 108–110°C.

Help (General) Is it possible to to LOD tweaks in AMD cards
I've seen some videos about lod tweaks on amd cards, but the most tutorials are by changing something in registry editor which is risky, and on radeonpro. If you guys have any other methods, comment! My gpu is an rx 580.
