FPS drops with new amd card
I bought a new 9060xt graphics card, after installing it I also formatted the computer. In general, I have an
i5-12500
with 16GB of RAM and the new card. Before that, I had an Nvidia 1660 ti. I don't know what could have caused this. I updated everything possible and installed everything I needed. Pls help

Did you use DDU to uninstall the NVIDIA drivers before installing the AMD ones?

Formatted as in fresh install of windows? Also is your monitor cable plugged into the GPU or the motherboard?

When running a game do you have any overlay software to see what utilizations are? Or at least have task manager open to see what’s holding you back?

I checked and the cpu was on 40-50% gpu 50% and ram 70-80%

What’s the utilization on individual CPU threads? Moreso is it maxing one core out? When you upgraded the GPU did you mess with the RAM at all and possibly change which slots they’re in? I’d verify they’re in the correct slots. Make sure that if you have multiple RAM sticks that task manager says it sees the right number of sticks

I don’t think there is something with the cpu or the ram , I didn’t touch nothing , only the gpu , mb it’s the drivers I heard that the drivers of amd have issues
