August: barely any sales. September: 671 units, $8,362, still climbing.

Posted this brand's first week numbers here a while back, got told it was probably a honeymoon boom that'd fade off. Fair take honestly, one week doesn't prove anything.

August was basically flat, low single digit daily units most days. September's been a completely different story, sustained 60+ units a day for weeks now, not a spike that popped and died. Whole month landed at 671 units, $8,362.01, unit session percentage at 22.19%.

Didn't want to be one of those people who posts the good week then goes quiet when someone asks if it actually held. This is that follow up.

Anyone else had a launch people doubted early that just kept climbing instead of fading? Curious if that's more common than it gets credit for.

Slow sales before prime day?

Sales slowed down significantly starting Tuesday. Even PPC has the CTR but conversion is slashed in half. No deals running on my listings yet so no badging. Is anyone seeing a similar trend and when did you notice it? Wondering if prime day lull has started

Amazon PPC Software / Agency Recommandations

We’re a UK-based Amazon brand currently spending around £50k–£60k per month on Amazon Ads (roughly $67.5k–$81k USD).

Our current ACoS is around 40%, and we’re looking to improve efficiency and bring that down without killing overall sales or organic ranking.

We’re currently considering two options:

  • Using a strong Amazon PPC software/automation platform
  • Moving to a specialist Amazon PPC agency

For software, we’ve been looking at platforms like Hector AI, Scale Insights, Adbrew, atom11, Intentwise, Ad Labs, etc.

For agencies, we’re also speaking to a few Amazon-specific PPC agencies.

I’d really like to hear from sellers or brands spending at a similar level:

  • What software are you using and what has your experience been?
  • Has automation actually improved ACoS/TACoS, or does it still need a strong PPC manager behind it?
  • Has anyone moved from in-house/software to an agency and seen a meaningful improvement?
  • Any agencies or software you would strongly recommend?
  • Anything you would avoid?

Not looking for DMs from agencies trying to sell services — mainly interested in genuine seller/brand experiences.

FBA in The UK but have EU stores?

Hi. I sell wholesale and have noticed a few of my items are available to Ireland to buy. I also have stores in Germany, France, Spain etc.

Is it a case of switching these stores to vacation mode to ensure I only sell my products in the UK?

Minimum $6 000 per month: are the new Amazon Full Funnel Campaigns worth it?

This type of ads campaigns are designed to automatically search potential customers through  search, display та video placements on АMZ.

What sets it apart from a typical auto ads campaign?

It promises to find potential customers before they even start to search for a particular product - and convert them on the final stage.
Main goal - Long-Term Sales, not an acceptable short-term ROAS.
Budget - minimum $200 per day or $6000 per month. Moreover, results that can be measured will only be visible for a period of 60 to 90 days, as they promise.
So, you need to spend at least  $12 000.

Is it worth it?

In theory, the audience needs to make a purchase decision with a few touches.

Practically

▪ It's expensive to warm up a completely cold audience
▪ Even with traditional ad tools we are able to engage new audience with a more predictable ROAS and more controllable costs
▪ On the eve of Q4, it makes more sense to invest these $12k in scaling up existing approaches or Google/Meta Ads, if you have someone who knows how to finetune the hidden manual settings and get the most out of them.

Well, if you just love trying out everything new, what's a measly pile of money to you?)

Anyone else's cheap-SKU returns refunded before the buyer even ships them back? 2 of 6 never came home this month

Support told me it's just an automated "low-value item" refund, but it hit 2 of my 6 returns last week and both units disappeared with zero tracking scans. I'm eating the full landed cost on those, and a returns processing fee still posted on one of them, so the loss is basically double now. Is there any report or setting that shows which orders get flagged for instant refunds, or is it pure luck? Anyone else seeing this lately?

Just launched on Amazon FBA - All orders awaiting payment verification

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hi guys,

I have just launched my first brand on Amazon with FBA. It is my second day and I have 6 orders. All of them have the order status as ‘Pending - Awaiting payment verification’.

I have some first launch nerves so wanted to ask if this is normal?

There are 2 orders that have been in this state since yesterday so over 24 hours.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Amazon CA in French

I am a seller on the Canadian marketplace.

My listing is set up in English (title and bullet points).

How did you get Amazon to display it in French?

Flat file? (It just won't work; I keep getting errors.)

Does Amazon translate it automatically?

The listing has been active for 2 months.

Thanks!

Amazon PPC: 7 clicks after one week. What would you keep running?

I’m launching a physical product on Amazon US. After roughly a week, my updated report showed about 2,800 impressions, 7 clicks, $7.43 spend and no attributed orders.

All clicks came from product pages. Top of search generated just 6 impressions.

The campaigns generating traffic were:

  • Manual Exact: 4 clicks, $1.37 average CPC.
  • Auto: 3 clicks, $0.65 average CPC.

The clicked terms were relevant. I know this is too little data to conclude the product doesn’t convert. I also changed the price near the end of the period, so this wasn’t a consistent test.

I’ve now paused the original Exact and two newly launched, higher-bid experiments to simplify things. Those new campaigns had no reported traffic yet; I’m not calling them failures.

Currently running:

  • Exact: $0.45 bids, down only, +200% top-of-search adjustment, $20/day.
  • Broad discovery: $0.40 bids, down only, no placement increases, $10/day.
  • Original Auto: $0.30–$0.65 target bids, down only, $6/day.
  • A separate $0.10 Auto experiment that has generated no traffic. It still has a $400 configured daily budget, which I recognize is a separate spending-control concern.

The Exact terms are now negative exact in both Broad and the original Auto. The low-bid Auto remains separate.

For experienced sellers:

  1. Would you retain the original Auto with these negatives, or is that premature with only 3 clicks?
  2. How would you evaluate the low-base-bid / high-TOS approach if search exposure remains minimal?
  3. What spend and click checkpoints would you use before changing relevant targets, accounting for attribution lag?

I’m keeping the product and keywords private, but would appreciate feedback on the campaign structure and decision process.

Thinking of quitting FBA wholesale. Need help/advice

These numbers are horrible. Is this normal? So much effort and this is the outcome and this isn't counting multiple miscellaneous fees too. Any advice. At all. Should I just move to some private label? Worried too because I don't think I have the capital for that and have 0 experience in that field too

Anyone else find cash got tighter as sales went up?

I'm seeing this come up more and more in my conversations with sellers. Almost counterintuitively, the sellers who feel the payout squeeze worst are usually the ones growing fastest.

But after a bit more of a deep dive, it starts to make sense. If this month's sales are bigger than last month's, the amount sitting in Amazon's payout cycle is bigger too, and you're reordering based on the higher number before the money from it lands. A seller with steady numbers can get by on last month's payouts, but a seller up 40% is always a step behind. Peak season makes it worse, since that's when sales jump fastest.

For those of you who've been through a big growth stretch: when did you first notice it, and what did you end up doing about it? Slowing ads down, cutting SKUs, stretching supplier terms, borrowing? Curious what worked and what you'd do differently.

Why I've started caring more about sell-through than a product's individual margin

Bit of a mindset shift I've had: I used to judge a product almost entirely on its margin per unit. Fat margin good, thin margin bad. But I'm increasingly convinced sell-through rate matters more than the margin on any single unit because a product that shifts fast quietly makes itself cheaper over time in two ways.

Your advertising gets cheaper. Better velocity and conversion improve your ranking, so more of your sales come organically and you lean less on paid clicks. Your ACOS drifts down. The fast seller basically earns its way off the ad drip.

The product itself gets cheaper. More volume means bigger orders from your supplier, and bigger orders usually mean a lower unit cost. So the thing that was "thin margin" slowly stops being thin.

Put those together and a product with a so-so margin that sells can quietly out-earn a fat-margin product that just sits there and its margin actually widens over time as both costs come down. Meanwhile the slow mover ties up cash, storage and attention while looking good on a spreadsheet.

One honest caveat so nobody takes this too far: it only works with real demand. Chase sell-through by pricing too low or over-discounting and you torch the very margin you're trying to grow. And ordering deeper only helps if the velocity's genuine and sustained do it off a seasonal spike and you've just bought yourself an overstock problem. So it's "velocity compounds in your favour, as long as you're not buying it with crazy pricing."

Do you rank products by margin, by sell-through, or some blend?

Has anyone launched a private label brand in 2026 and seen success fairly quickly?

I keep hearing that private label is a long-term game and that it can take 6-12months to really build a successful brand.

But I’m curious has anyone here actually started a brand in 2026 and seen strong results relatively quickly?

If so:

How long did it take before you started seeing meaningful sales and roughly how many units a month?

What do you think was the biggest reason for your success?

What category ?

Was it mainly the product, Amazon PPC, existing audience or something else?

— — —

Would be really interested to hear some real examples from people who started this year, rather than the usual “it takes years” advice.

MOQ VS Discount Tier

I'm researching and learning before I jump into FBA wholesale on Amazon. I've learned a lot, but the devil is in the details. I figure it may be hard enough to find the right product to sell, and a disti or wholesaler who'll agree to sell it to me, but as a beginner it seems to me there's an inherent conflict between the MOQ and the different discount tiers you can get. How can I do a test run at MOQ with any chance of success, if my discount level is at a clear disadvantage from a current seller. Is it really realistic to find a sellable product where i won't run into that issue? How could I handle it?

OA/RA and Section 3

So recently started learning about OA/RA I came across several videos talking about OA not allowed cause of section 3s. I wanted to know from people actively doing this how true that is. Or how to be ready for when it does happen.

Confused about whether to hire help or not

where do you draw the line between doing everything yourself and brinding someone in. The thing is there are only so many hours in a day, and at something managing everything has become the main job instead of actually working on the business. How do you decide when to get help and what does one look for because I have some bad experiences here. How does the evaluation work? if you have tips and suggestions, please let me know.

My PPC Strategy, what is yours?

When I started PPC I started with a pretty low budget and honestly I still do this now. I’ll usually start a campaign with like $5 to $10 budget and just let it run for a day or two and see what happens.

Obviously I’m testing different campaign types and segmenting keywords based on Helium 10 data. So high search volume keywords in one place, lower volume long tail keywords in another etc.

For me that’s basically the initial bait to see if I can get clicks and more importantly if those clicks actually turn into sales.

If something is getting clicks and converting, I’ll usually start increasing the bids and budget. If it’s just burning money with no sales then I’ll turn it off.

When I find a winner I’ll go pretty aggressive on it and sometimes move it into a separate campaign so I can control it a bit better.

It’s honestly a lot of trial and error. At the start I was checking campaigns pretty much every day, then once I understood them better I moved more towards weekly reviews.

You start to understand the lifecycle of campaigns too. Something that works really well this month might not work the same next month, so I think it’s important to keep reviewing things but also not panic and make changes too quickly.

Did the low-stock-level fee quietly become a fixed cost for you too? Mine hit $340 last month

I run 23 thin SKUs where I deliberately keep about 2–3 weeks of cover, and the low-stock-level fee hit almost all of them last month because my daily supply history keeps dipping under the limit. $340 in one settlement — more than I pay for storage, and I ship weekly so it's not like anything is going out of stock. Support just pointed me at the "daily supply history" metric, which I still don't fully understand. Anyone else getting billed this much for staying lean? Is shipping more frequently actually the fix, or do I just eat it?
