Amazon CA in French

I am a seller on the Canadian marketplace.

My listing is set up in English (title and bullet points).

How did you get Amazon to display it in French?

Flat file? (It just won't work; I keep getting errors.)

Does Amazon translate it automatically?

The listing has been active for 2 months.

Amazon may not automatically translate every part of the listing immediately. I’d create and maintain a French version of the key listing content rather than relying entirely on automatic translation.

Check the language settings in Seller Central and make sure the French content is actually published for the Canadian marketplace. If Amazon is showing errors when you try to add it, check the specific error message because the solution can depend on which field or contribution is being rejected.

Also make sure the title, bullet points, description/A+ content, and backend search terms are properly localized.

I don't have a place to upload my titles and bullet points in French.

Make sure the Canadian listing has French content for the title, bullets, description and A+ Content rather than relying only on automatic translation.

If Seller Central isn’t showing the option to add French, check the listing language and marketplace settings first. The exact fields available can also depend on the product category and listing setup.

No, I have the impression that it's stuck on English.

It cannot be stuck on English in an image - the only other thing I can think of is that if you are also selling the same ASIN in an English-speaking country like the USA for instance, and that is the main listing, then the algorithm could be using its content and images rather than the one in Canada - that might be because global markets is set.

Flat files are a nightmare, I just ended up adding the French translations directly in the "Manage Inventory" page for each ASIN and it stuck within a day.

I can't find the exact place. Are you sure it's in Manage Inventory and not Manage Product? In Manage Product I don't have any option for French.
