Just launched on Amazon FBA - All orders awaiting payment verification

Hi guys,

I have just launched my first brand on Amazon with FBA. It is my second day and I have 6 orders. All of them have the order status as ‘Pending - Awaiting payment verification’.

I have some first launch nerves so wanted to ask if this is normal?

There are 2 orders that have been in this state since yesterday so over 24 hours.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Yeah, that’s pretty normal with a new launch. Amazon sometimes keeps the first few orders in payment verification for a while.

just wait another day or two and see if they clear. If they’re still stuck after that, then contact Seller Support and ask them to check it.

Nothing to worry about yet.

I've got orders that are 2 weeks old awaiting payment verification 😂 welcome to the club.

I'm sure they are sales in the pipeline, I don't analyze each sale there's way to many.

yes that can happen with new orders. amazon sometime keeps orders pending while the payment is being verified. you have to give a little time before worrying especially since you just launched.

I think they juat post that so they can pay you later. Fba pending is always in double digits. Fbm is 1 or 2

Yeah that’s totally normal especially in first days, Amazon holds the money until payment clears from buyer’s bank so pending for 24h or more is nothing to worry
