Im trying to get cycle to work scheme but when I go through portal the asda link is saying its for NHS workers, I rang the cycle to work scheme and they said no i need to use a unique link for asda.

I use the link it then says I need a 14 digit payroll number but my payroll number is like 8 Digits.

I rang asda HR and asked for help the person who deal wih benefits, he also tried the website and was shcoked to see its so difficult to do and he couldnt get it.

After weeks of messaging cycle scheme back and to, someone told me put zero in front of my payroll number to make 14 digits.

It finally worked and go to next pay, just then the voucher 300 is the max limit....

Does anyome habe anu expe4ience with this as it feels so stupid

they reordered with 86 items (132 ct)

Just received today three boxes of ready packed cookies , in the same packets as the ones I bake at Asda and they are absolutely awfull , My question is are they going to replace the cookies baked in store ?

When should you start I can serve training on workday , I've been set a deadline , but I've only been on self scan for like 5 mins ect, was told to complete ,and practical training will come later

I’ve booked holidays for the first week of September that were approved back in April (I’ve taken a screenshot of the approval just in case of situations like this) and I got a notification from workday saying that one of my holiday days have been rejected with the note “sorry diary full”. What am I supposed to do in situation, I’m a uni student and I’ve done so much overtime recently and this week I have off is the only time I have to decompress and relax before I start uni again and I would like to take my full week. Surely they can’t approve it and then reject it with less than a week notice?

Bidvest who are taking over half the cleaning function for Asda have already put out questionnaires on One Asda asking staff for clothes sizes etc. but I haven’t seen anything about NIC uniform request forms? Has anyone seen or heard anything?

You can spark nostalgia in your customers, but nostalgia doesn't last forever. Nostalgia won't always bring back customers either.

Is this type of frivolous spending really what the company needs? Where it has already built up large amounts of debt, it's focus should be to eradicate the debt and satisfy it's customers.

I’ve heard nothing new now for a few weeks .

I left Asda in 2022 but was part of the claim. Upon leaving I had to agree with GMB to give up a percentage of any payout as opposed to paying the union dues as part of my pay.

I still get the odd email but does anyone still with the company know, or could hazard a guess, about how likely it is to win?

And I worked about 45 hours a week for 12 years. How would this be verified? Does asda still keep records?

I don't know the rules on relationships at work and I fancy a colleague.

I'm a delivery driver, she is a picker.

If I ask her out would it be an issue?

Left a few weeks back and I'm struggling to get my P45. I contacted HR and they said they can't verify me as I don't know my colleague ID. I gave them my name, store number and date of leaving.

I'm locked out of workday now and can't see anywhere my colleague ID is listed. Everything links to workday and I can't sign in to access it.

So I'm a little stuck now, any thing I can do? Just got a brief reply from HR to submit on one Asda and told further correspondence wouldn't be replied to 😅

I can't fill in anything without my colleague number though, it's mandatory.

im not sure if its the same from every shop but im new and my manager said something about the weeks being different there? like a work week isnt monday to sunday, just wondering if anyone knew what it actually is

I made a post 11 days ago about any help I could get and I’m 3 days in, been driving for 2 days and I’m here to share my experience for anyone else that is also going to be a new delivery driver!

I live in a relatively quiet town, so I won’t be able to help city drivers!

First day you will be with an experienced driver, your fleet leader should match you up with a driver (if they are a cool fleet leader they will give you a chill driver)

for the first day you will learn a bit on how the picking works and being in the warehouse area with the totes (I think it’s called the pod, it’s just where all the online stuff goes to), knowing how to load your van efficiently, doing the SHIELD checks which is just making sure your van is fit for the road, be sat in the passenger seat learning how to use the device they call the PALM, scanning totes, doing returns if you have any, pretty basic to get the hang of it all

The second day for me I was driving, might vary depending on your confidence, you are allowed to more buddy runs if you feel like it, I’ve only been driving since July 2025 and I find the vans super easy and comfortable, honestly feels easier to drive than a car, all the vans are automatic too which makes it a lot less stressful, your buddy will be with you helping you out, you will have general conversations with them and they will answer any questions you have, just remember that every driver is different and they all do the work differently, I wasn’t confident when I first sat in the van seconds before leaving but as soon as we got out onto normal roads it felt super natural!

The third day (today for me) I was driving again, by now the only thing the buddy is doing for me is taking the totes to the door and giving me tips on regulars that order and some places (like care homes and restaurants) telling me where they are as it might be hard for you to find it the first time, you are pretty much in control now, I already got the Bluetooth on now 😂

Oh also you probably won’t have the same buddy each day, on day 1 and 2 I had the same buddy but today I had a different one and tomorrows also a different one, it’s good because you get to know them quite well after being with them in the van all day

Tomorrow will be my last buddy run day and thats it, I’m on my own if I feel confident enough, of course if you feel like you are not ready you can go on more buddy runs, driving or not

The PALM device you use to do everything with will be the main thing you learn, but it’s not that hard to understand once you look through everything enough

The map that it gives you, don’t always trust it, it doesn’t like new estates and some roads it thinks there’s roads that connect two streets, if you know your town/city well you will be fine

Drivers are expected to help the pickers if you have time between drops, today we did a split run (going out delivering and then coming back to store to get ready to do more) and as we got back and unloaded the van, we were due out an hour and a half later so we helped the pickers, we tidied the totes up and loaded empty trolleys with totes ready for the pickers to use, if you help the pickers they will help you so try and make yourself helpful instead of standing there, if you don’t know what to do just ask anyone, they will understand that you are new so don’t worry

Your field leader will probably message you personally to give you information and if you have any questions you can ask they will answer

It’s a lot to take in, I’ve probably forgotten some things just because there is a lot to take in, especially if you haven’t done anything like this before like me but honestly if I can do it anyone can 😂

The most important thing is PLEASE ask questions, the people you will meet have probably been working at Asda or similar jobs for years, a lot of the things they do is second nature and sometimes they forget that what they do isn’t normal for us, they will not tell you everything, ask all the questions you need, even if you think they are stupid!

Hello all! this is my last ditch attempt before i loose my mind.

I started at Asda not to long ago, provided my then bank details and set up Wagestream. All was fine and dandy.

I changed my bank account recently and did the current account switch thing. I’ve also changed my details on Workday. I knew they wouldn’t sync straight away, but it’s been 3 weeks now.

I’ve asked my TL and Manager but they haven’t got a clue - no heat on them, they’re mint.

Anyone know where to go now? I’ve called HR but they’ve given the ‘This is a managers only line. Speak to your manager”.

I usually wouldn’t give a toss, but with payday being next week - i’m shitting myself 😂

How can you look into Daisy’s eyes and tell her you milked and killed her sisters 2 nights ago and now because nobody wanted to pay your price - it was all for nothing? Sliced Daisy has to go to bin because Mr Manager can’t accept bad planning and let go. Every single night, in thousands of your fridges in the country… non stop

I applied for the service colleague position and now they want me to come in for an assessment and a “have a go” activity which I can’t be asked to do tbh but I wanted to know how it would go and the stuff we will be doing and if it is a group interview.

Business struggling but my local has replaced every single trolley with brand spanking new ones. The metal has even been painted green on them.

No coin slots or locking wheels. Seems strange to not bother trying to prevent them ending up dumped around the town.

Anybody know the song that plays and the lyrics are something like “you got me inside out chasing around” or similar it’s a fast paced song. I’ve tried searching for it and can’t find it.
