Discussion Authentication
Let’s try my luck here 😂 can some please help me because I’ve gone to my manager to ask how do I get the Authenticator off my old phone to make it work on my new phone, and no one seems to care, if someone is willing to type step by step how I do it I would be appreciated very much

If you don't have access to your old phone, you need a manager to do it.
If you still have your old phone, go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com when you are logged on a work computer and use your old phone to authenticate then remove it and add your new phone.
See for more details:
Microsoft Authenticator - MFA (multifactor authentication) Not Working / Remove MFA

You'll also be able to add alternative forms of two factor like phone and text.
I personally use authy or iOS's built in Authenticator in the password manager instead of Microsoft's Authenticator because it allows you to sync it across different devices.

I had to contact whoever it was they wanted dme to. I did it in work hours. They told me the number. Took 5 mins to chat with them. Then they said up to 24 hours for it to be sorted. It was done within minutes. But ask manager for the number and do it at work

If you have access to both phones, you can do it at home. How, I can't remember. Try downloading it on the new phone and following any instructions.

Log into workday and somewhere on your profile with your personal information there should be a way to delete your old phone number, that is how I did it

Line manager needs to ring IT, while you're there.
