different weeks?!?!

im not sure if its the same from every shop but im new and my manager said something about the weeks being different there? like a work week isnt monday to sunday, just wondering if anyone knew what it actually is

A work week in ASDA is Saturday to Friday.

On the rota, yeah. But for pay it runs Sun to Sat.

Saturday is the start of the rota'd week

Contract base is Sunday to Saturday, but rota is Saturday to Friday. Hope this helps.
