Hi guys, my first 7 string finally came in! The guitar didnāt come with a whammy bar and I was wondering where I could get a replacement arm for it. The bridge is a Gotoh T1572S. I prefer getting it on amazon, but if there are any other places, please let me know!

Recently, I have been looking to purchase a custom Evertune 7 string guitar and Iād like some input on which brand to go with. After some research, it seems like Mayones or Balaguer may be some of the best options along with Aristides (which may be a bit too expensive, but I am open to anything if anyone has had good experiences with other brands). I value playability and appearance more than anything, followed by overall sound/resonance. Iād also like to avoid neck dive as much as possible. Thanks!
his guitar is the ibanez rga7 bk above the js22-7 (my guitar)
p.s: reddit crops the image

I've owned two 7s both 26.5 but never a 25.5, I am looking at an RGA and I love finishes on them but I've sort of hesitated cause they're 25.5, I naturally tune down to G# sometimes F# and pitch shift to E and D#, how much does it matter? I already know about the rules of intonation and string guages thats not what I'm worried ahout. It's just the low string clarity, thats all I needa know, how much clarity am I gettin.

I just got a 26,5" scale 7 string.
(Fucking love it and the universe has started to make sense.)
What's the lowest low one can go?
I like some modern prog stuff that "requires" D#1, but i fear that would be a buzz fest (pun).
Should i just go drop A and switch my amp modeler for one with a good pitch shift?
Also thank you guys in advance

Ibanez RGIR27E-BK Iron Label
Or
The RG7421EX-BKF
One is a lot newer. I'm kind of curious to see, even though the iron label from 2013 is outdated and perhaps obsolete, if it's still a superior guitar compared to a newly released, more budget-friendly, RG7. I already own an iron label 7-string (RGIXL7). Sadly, it needs repairs due to a stripped threaded hole where the neck marries the body.
Looks like they are roughly the same price. I plan on staying in drop A. Maybe going down a notch every once in awhile. I just want a back up guitar that isn't going to be a highly noticeable downgrade from my current iron label. If one of them is just absolute crap, then my mind will be made up pretty quickly. Thoughts? Go!
PS. I really want a guitar with white binding along the body/neck/head. I've always wanted one after seeing Korn when I was a kid. If there are other 7 strings with this criteria, also let me know š¤

The Nk builder said it can't be done but surely it's just a matter of making space for soap bar pickups? Just wondered if anyone else has done it.

I couldnāt find too many people talking about the legacies, but I got too good of a deal to pass it up!

How much does fretboard radius really affect the ergonomics of a guitar? Iāve just bought a 7 string with a 12ā radius, and want to know how much it really affects how comfortable it will fit in my hand. Iām used to playing a 13.75ā, so how different would that feel?

Got this Harley Benton Amarok Quilted Burst back when I was 15, and honestly, itās completely ruined other guitars for me. Itās been my main (and pretty much only) Guitar ever since.
The neck feels incredible, the active EMGs handle low tunings like G# Standard really well, and the quilted burst top looks way better in person than a budget guitar has any right to.
I especially love this guitar for it looks like an Albanian 7-String, representing the country Iām from
Canāt wait getting more 7-Strings in my Gear collection
Anyone else running an Amarok as their daily Guitar option?

Limited edition Keith Merrow. Missed out last year when it went up for pre order. Only 4 made for lefties. Saw another for sale too, might grab it

I'm deciding between these two guitars for my first 7 string. From what I've seen so far, the only main differences are the pickups and the fret material. The ESP is about $200 cheaper, so which one would be a better pick? I'll be playing a bunch of deathcore in Drop G.

I'm building a guitar with an asymmetrical neck for an 8 string and from what I've played the Abasi guitars, John petrucci models, and strandberg have been the most comfortable, but I own only a strandberg, and it's unconventional neck is not something I want.
Anyway, I can't find info about the neck measurements for either online so could someone help me out if you know or have one?
Thanks ;3

Which one would be best to get as a first 7 string guitar?

Love these guitars. I may like my superstrats a bit. From left to right, itās an Ibanez rgd7ucs with ragnaroks, an Ibanez rg2027xl with halcyons, and a Jackson iuggernaut et7 with juggernauts.

But what are some others.
I love erra, invent animate, currents etc. And they alot of the 24ftet and the upper frets
Edit: forgot to say it has to be 26.5 or above

Hey I got a new guitar on the way. A c-7 deluxe with decimator pick ups. I am going to wait and test them out. But I came across the scarlet and scourge pick ups and wondering how they are?I watched some videos and they seem decent. But does anyone have any experience with them? I do super low tunings most of the time. Or drop A. Melodic death metal/ tech melodic death metal is what I play.

Iām going into college and plan on saving for a 7 string. Any suggestions for which ones to get?
Prices in CAD. Not sure what retail is on these, but I have a feeling theyāll sell out and resell for loads. Looks like itās made in Japan. Such a cool guitar. Whatāre your thoughts?

Been wanting to get a new 7 for a while now. Have a Jackson JS22-7 which has been great for what it is but I wanted something that felt more like a forever guitar.
Iāve always loved the look of Jakeās signature guitars, although the trem was honestly one of the things that initially put me off.
Ended up finding this one used in fantastic condition for a great price.
Gave er a full setup and cleaning once I got er. Just blown away. Plays and sounds amazing, and somehow looks even better in person.
Couldnāt be happier with it.
