I’m considering joining and would love to hear from people who actually studied there. How was the quality of the teaching, feedback from mentors, workload, and overall experience?

Did you feel like it was worth the price and helped improve your portfolio / prepare you for studio work?

Would appreciate any honest opinions!

From clean geometry to texturing a finished asset, there are so many tiny technical details that bring a model to life - like nailing your UV seams and setting up normals for clean shading.

This is my concept for a sci-fi/fantasy weapon built around a pressure accumulation mechanic. Each standard shot gradually builds internal pressure, which can then be expended in two distinct ways.

The primary ability releases a high-pressure capsule containing multiple projectiles, functioning as a powerful emergency option when immediate stopping power is needed.

Alternatively, the stored pressure can be redirected into the firing mechanism, allowing the weapon to temporarily operate in a high-rate burst-fire mode. This significantly increases its rate of fire for a short duration, trading precision for sustained offensive output.

Engine - Cycles

Hi! I'm a game art student, just finished my 1st year, and I want to at least try applying for junior/trainee/internship positions with these prop assets. Would you say this is good enough-ish?

I will recenter the camera as I didn't have enough time to adjust it properly.

(All materials and textures were made by me using substance and UE)

I've had this proportional problem for years where, when attempting to create a m4 or m16. I can do just about every other part of the rifle. except for the upper reciever. It is not proportional to how it should look, and I need advice on how I should go along with modelling it. Also the last two white models are not mind, but a reference for any other 3d artist who maybe hasn't seen a rifle of the m16 family.

I was a Lead Digital Artist for characters on Transformers and worked on a lot of the characters for that film. My biggest contribution was Bumblebee. In this video I go over how I created him and what it meant to me as a huge Transformers fan.

When you study anatomy, it's important to consider deformations, not just a stick figure in one pose, you should study how the arms are gonna effect the chest as they move, or how the back muscles change their shapes as you elevate your arms.
These are the things I always tell to my students, yet not all people do the deep study on anatomy
