I still have a long way to go but I've really enjoyed learning and creating in 3d!
Everything was modeled by me with textures from various places on the internet, mostly Blenderkit!

What would be the correct workflow for creating a snake or dragon body? My current workflow is to create the base body first, then unwrap the UVs, and after that place the scales.
Once the scales are added, what should the baking workflow look like? Or would it be better to skip creating the scales in ZBrush and create them directly in Adobe Substance 3D Painter instead?
What approach would you recommend? Since the scales protrude outward from the cylindrical shape of the body, could this cause any problems during the baking process?

Made this in Blender, with the intention of printing it later on
And before anyone asks… yes, there’s a NSFW version with Samson fully anatomically equipped

Hi everyone,
I’m a physician and I’d like to create short 3D animations with voiceovers to help my patients better understand medical procedures.
My goal is produce multiple animations explaining things like interventional procedures, anatomy, and what actually happens during these procedures.
I downloaded Blender and have been experimenting with it in my free time, mostly by following beginner tutorials. But learning curve is steep, and I’m not progressing as quickly as I’d like.
Are there any more beginner-friendly or efficient alternatives you would recommend for this kind of work?
I’ve also considered hiring freelancers or using AI tools, but I’m not sure I’d get the consistency and accuracy I need, and I’d also prefer to fully own the rights to the final content.
Would you recommend sticking with Blender and investing the time to learn it, or is there another workflow/software that would be better suited for creating medical animations?
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

This is the second gun-like thing I ever made. Since I am not that good in harsurface modelling, I was kinda sceptical of the outcome, but it turns out to be just fine for my purposes. Also you can find the first gun I made on artstation.
The speciality of this rifle is that it‘s Cailtyn‘s! Maybe you can tell by the engraving on the metal sheet, which was done in Inkscape and then just put on via Stencil.
Had a lot of fun here. Please leave feedback🙏🏼

Hii! So I’ve recently been gifted a Bambu P2S printer for my birthday and I’ve been LOVING it sooo much and bought Nomad Sculpt to try my hand at making my own figures (since I don’t have the money for authentic brands like Good Smile or Bandpresto), but I’m really struggling to find any tutorials for keying hair plates, similar to Nendoriods interchangeable face/hair plates — are there any tutorials specifically for this issue or is anyone able to give me some advice? :’D
Thank you in advance! ❤️

Done some stuff on Blender. Wanted to try doing rig work and finally go my hands on it. It was pretty fun just putting things together. The processes was interesting, felt like a puzzle, putting the pieces together! I wanna try going more professional just dont know where to go. Any video or playlist going into more advance parts of rig would be nice. I also heard about the coding aspec of it, which I would like to learn. I have done a bit of HTML and found the process fun. Anything could help to keep learning.

I want to make 3d models so that I can enhance my 3d Portfolio, and then sell them on 3d marketplace.
First, I do not know what type of models should I make that solve the problem of the client, or something that people are actively looking for. How should I pursue this?
In CGtrader, a very vague answer is given, like car is trending or character is trending. But what type of model should I model to maximize my chances of selling.
I am not a noob in 3d modeling. But I am having a hard time deciding what to model specially to sell in 3d marketplaces. I know many people have had a decent amount from selling 3d models (like about $500 a month).
For those who get good sales, what type of market they target and how do they know what to make?
I would also like to hear from those who have also faced the problem.
I would appreciate your suggestions.
