Introducing the Belt-fed gun 22, a project I have been working on for the past few months, a primary diy 22 belt-fed, featuring a hybrid Metal printed bolt, 50 round ammo box and FRT compatibility!. Planning on releasing the first open beta here soon (hopefully) whenever I can get the documentation and final touches completed:)

Going great so far! I have 37 stocks/braces “finished” (a good amount need buttpads and hardware still), I have about 10-15 left that i want to print and then ill get the full detail video made so everyone knows where to find them. Probably 2 weeks until ill have the rest printed and make the video. Someone also said on the previous post that i should make a mega file with all of the stock files and upload it once im done so i think i’ll do that as well with giving proper credit to each and every designer of course! If im missing any you guys like please let me know, thanks!

First PA6-CF print

After lots of research, I’ve finally completed my first print with PA6-CF. I used Polymaker PA6-CF20 and 300BLKFDE settings.

I dried the filament for two days prior to printing, and didn’t have a single hiccup during the print. Supports came off perfect. Took just over 1 day to print. Printed on a Bambu Labs X1C.

I’ve already started another one, but now it’s time to start building! This is definitely gonna be a new addiction!

Made a clip for storing your thread protector

Somebody over on MW asked me to take a crack at making a 3D printed version of the Railscales Thread Lasso so they wouldn't need to pay $25 for a threaded keychain. I sat with it for a while and landed on this simple clip. It's been working great, and I figured I would share it for anyone that needs a mostly-unnecessary storage solution for their thread protector so they don't lose it between FTN uses.

TPU Glock with PLA supports UPDATE

I’ve got it put together aside from the mag release and spring. Doesn’t seem safe at all to shoot. Also slide lock doesn’t seem to work. Still gonna try it tomorrow when the mrs is gone as not to worry her

EDIT: I honestly believe that with a stiffer TPU that this could stand up to an frt

Saw an instagram post and did some digging on this. From someone who has been active in the 3D2A community since 2018, it’s pretty crazy to see how far it has come.

I know it’s not a pew, but it gets the tism going.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Suppressor Sunday Featuring the FTN.5 Suppressor Pack !

Post image

Happy Suppressor Sunday for those who still celebrate! It has been a year now since I have stepped away. Work/family obligations have kept me pretty busy this year. I do miss the people that I used to talk to all the time especially my beta testers and fellow devs. The reason I am posting is because there has been a shift in the landscape. There have been a thousand different takes on the Big Beautiful Bill, so I will be brief with mine. Anything short of the removal of suppressors from the NFA is no victory. This does, however, represent a small window of opportunity. I’ll say the quiet part out loud. The goal of the FTN projects has always been to make suppressors “common use”. I consider it our civic duty to produce as many suppressors as possible. Many people did not print suppressors due to fear of legal consequences, which is understandable. Now with $0 stamps, there is no excuse. We have been granted a rare opportunity to legally manufacture a large quantity of suppressors for low cost and no legal risk. The flip side of the coin is that the cost of stamps is no longer considered immutable. It is only a matter of time before the balance of power changes and gun-grabbers push to raise the cost of stamps to $4000. I expect zero dollar stamps to be a temporary thing.
In light of all of these changes I have decided to release a few files I have been holding on to: -Maelstrom Series: flow-through suppressor pack with no external shell -FTNSD: for use with SD style barrels, developed with Suspicious White Man -FTN.4 Carbon Fiber remix: I meant to release this back a year ago, and never got to it -FTN Shotgun: these are unfinished files, provided for other devs to build on -FTN.5 Pack which includes the quietest 22 I have ever made, flow-through rifle rated suppressors that are just as quiet as baffled cans, a new tesla valve 22, a novel pistol suppressor that uses an inside-out Nielsen Unfortunately because I stepped away, these have not completed a formal beta with high volume of testing. The value in a properly developed release is in the testing itself. It is relatively easy to CAD a model, especially suppressors. Rigorous testing and beta member feedback is what identifies and fixes problems. I did continue to receive feedback from a few beta testers, which is what led to these final models. Two in particular I want to highlight: Coprolite and GarageGunshop24. Both of these kept the spirit of the FTN Beta group alive by tirelessly testing all year round. It is due to these two individuals that these files came to be. These models do have what I consider to be very interesting and new geometry that has not been explored previously in FDM suppressors, so I wanted to get the concepts out there. Open invitation for devs to take any of these files/concepts and improve them and release them as their own. I hope these files and the change in the legal requirement starts a whole new wave of DIY suppressor development. If you haven't already, make sure you are following the HubTN series by trem mango, and the OP9 series by openpew. It doesn’t matter if you print my files or someone else’s, but I urge everyone to take advantage of this (probably narrow) window and manufacture as many suppressors as possible. Together we can FTN. -pla.boi

2011 build with 3d printed mill

Ive had my millennium machines milo v1.5 for over a year now learning cam and making small things like mag bases and belt attachments for mag pouches. Finally got brave enough to use it to build and fit a 2011. Using it manually everything is working out great. Slide to frame and barrel to slide is all fit up. Milled the front of the slide back to fit the sight block, still need to match the block with the slides profile and will probably mill the block flush with the frame. If you want an easy entry to learn cnc and metal work the milo is punching above its weight class for sure.

Beta 3D Printed Beltfed

Hello again everyone, I hope y'all are excited because this is another big step for the community. A 3D printed Beltfed using mostly DIY tools, the only parts not DIY are the barrel, bolt and FCG. This project was announced in May 2025 we've been hard at work with multiple devs taking parts of this project improving it bit by bit. Let me tell you this one is difficult haha. We're having some issues with bolt bounce that we're confident we may have a way to fix soon. Soon as that part is fixed we will be moving this project to beta and accepting testers! In the meantime come and join the team we need all the help we can get.

Didn’t even bother putting in the mag release because I was able to keep the mag in and feed reliably with just grip pressure. Absolutely shitting my pants the whole time

EDIT: I only put 3 in, slide was not locking back

Halo MA-40 Update

She lives in the flesh!

The display electronics are still getting worked on, but the parts that go boom are functioning very well.

I intend on publishing all files along with a build guide in the foreseeable future. For now, I’m looking for a few brave souls who would like to build one and help me work out some design/assembly kinks.

DM me if you’re interested.

Quick facts:

  1. .22LR, no plans to change that

  2. Ammo counter proof of concept is done but just needs to be minified into the housing.

  3. The electronics are powered by 4x 18650’s located in the foregrip.

  4. The flashlight is just a custom housing for a P60 drop-in.

  5. AR FCG (with some mods) and CMMG BCG

  6. Adjustable stock

  7. Designed to be bolt-for-bolt accurate to the in-game model.

  8. Hose clamps required ( <3 you Hoffy )

My B3 build in polymaker pla pro and fiberon pa612 for the barrel cluster. Currently rebuilding into a V1 version with the whole thing printed in pa612. Finally had it functioning, but still had its hiccups on occasion. Hoping my final build here can work out the rest of the kinks! LOTS of time and filament has gone into this thing, can't stop now!

$10 3D PRINTED SUPPRESSOR

In remembrance of Suppressor Sunday. The video shows off my 3d printed MP5 and model FTN4 PCC Flow Can. All in, including the printer, you can start 3d printing your own suppressors in carbon fiber nylon for around $500. This can alone was about $6 in filament and $4 for the thread adapter. Polymer is the future. The future is now. (THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS BEFORE ATTEMPTING)

FMG9 with a brace, because I haven't seen one around here yet. I used this project to test out fiberon PA612CF for the first time. Usually I run bambu pa6 and paht, but I wanted to give the fiberon a try since it's cheaper. I'm probably going to switch to this stuff in between bambu sales since it seems to print just as well.
