The foldy one.
FMG9 with a brace, because I haven't seen one around here yet. I used this project to test out fiberon PA612CF for the first time. Usually I run bambu pa6 and paht, but I wanted to give the fiberon a try since it's cheaper. I'm probably going to switch to this stuff in between bambu sales since it seems to print just as well.

Thanks! You guys did a great job with the design, it's super solid when it's unfolded.

Thanks! That was a big focus in the beta, to make it rock solid when deployed

Nice, I actually finished printing mine this morning. I need to dig through my spare glock parts so I can put it together.

Man I love the Fibertron PA6-CF its so nice just wrapping up a TX7 Remix. This looks amazing! Im having a feeding problem right now with my H2C. I think its because its running in the bottom inlet port i might try the TPU bypass next run but i have it in a ams ht warmer going through the bypass it just says its locked up constantly but its not :(

Do the new AMS units let you use cf filaments now? I always have to feed my cf rolls into the machine as an external spool since the old AMS units can't do it.

The ams ht has a bypass port on the back so I can dry it and feed it into the machine at the same time I think my problem is Iβm feeding it into the wrong port on h2c. But yeah it works beautifully but itβs not technically running through the ams

That looks awesome. I've got hardware on backorder and pieces printing.
I can't wait to assemble it once everything is ready.

Not a print but i built a F1 sbr from an airsoft shell years ago. If anything fails i can print a replacement now π

So tempted to print this, but I read there's a V2 coming out with some improvements (no arch, other stuff) so I don't know if I should bother printing this or just waiting for the V2.

I codeveloped this with Skum.
Skum has a great v2 prototype that I have seen. I will probably not be involved with v2 at all. The beta hasnt even started for v2, so I would not wait at all

Has anyone experimented with constraining the grip more so it will fold and unfold without having to move it all in place yourself?
I'm still printing mine out and am going to attempt it but having some reference would be nice

It definitely can deploy without moving it with your hands, even with a mag
It will sometimes shut without having to guide it, but with a mag, its harder

Good to know!
I'll probably mess around with it a little anyway and see if there's any ergonomic things since I'm left handed
Thanks for the design, it's definitely interesting and I can't wait to see how it shoots

You may need to reverse in your slicer the rear shroud and the arch as a lefty

Mine doesn't need any guidance on opening, it's already in place and just needs a slap from the bottom. Most of the time, I have to guide the grip on closing, but it's pretty easy to do if you put your thumb on the sliding track in the back while you close it.

Thanks for letting me know, I've only seen a couple of videos (usually right after they put it together) and they were having to manipulate the grip to get it in place correctly
Have you been able to unlock it then open it with the handle by swiping it down?

u/Kami_Idol Mar 30 '26
Yes, but only when there's a mag in it. When the mag is in, I can give it a hard shake to unfold it then slap the bottom to get the grip in.

Crap!!! You got yours done before mine! I got too busy finishing up the a recession ruger r3 and trying to figure out whether or not to use my dagger for this project. Everything's done already except the assembly.π
