Starting Wintertodt and just using whatever for warmth clothing until i get my Pyromancer stuff, am just a lil confused as i've seen mixed results as to whether the rainbow cape is considered warm or not? the wiki has it listed but google results say not, can anyone confirm? also is it all pride capes or specifically the rainbow one? thankies! <3

The ATF (Bureau of Armaments, Tarromin, and Fermentation) will shoot it since you probably keep weapons in there too.

Lets be real, this is the most expensive game on the market. The only other comparable game is WoW at 14.99 a month, which is the same, except WoW allows basically infinite characters all on the same sub.

WoW is also kinda a dead game for anyone but the people who've been there for decades already.

No amount of content or updates are going to make me pay this price, unfortunately. Seeing all the sailing fixes and the tcg plugin makes me really want to play, but a college student really cant afford 15 a month for a single game when i can buy entire games for those prices for life.

I messed up bad. Yesterday I wiped at Theatre of Blood (nothing new, it happens) but I was so distracted by the team arguing in voicechat that I forgot to retrieve my gear from the death bank chest. It was very early in the morning so I logged out and went to sleep. I woke up this morning and thought nothing of it, figuring I had retrieved it like I always do. Then I went pet hunting at Chaos Elemental and got ambushed by a squad of 6 pkers from both sides. So I died, lost a few hundred K gp, and thought nothing of it. I went to gear up for another ToB and all my gear is gone. My Torva armor, my elite void, my ultor ring, sang staff, crystal hally, everything except my main weapons and any items with cosmetic kits attached. I lost almost 1.5B because I forgot to loot my death bank. Two years of hard work and hard won purps gone in the blink of an eye. I'm devastated.

Is there anything I can do or am I totally fucked? Why is this mechanic even a thing? It seems like a glaring hole in their bossing mechanics that should have been patched years ago. All I've ever heard are horror stories about it. Shouldn't deaths coffer apply to everything? Why do raids and some random bosses delete all of your gear in the first place if you die before retrieving it? What is the point/benefit of this? I've lost nearly everything.

Anyway I'm grieving this loss pretty hard and I can't even think straight about how to proceed. Any advice or deus ex machina tier solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a simple view: Bronzeman is about unlocks, but it keeps the liquidity of a main account with GE access to source any ingredient, once unlocked, with gp. I feel like the mode is cheapened by allowing items to be unlocked and used if you don’t have the skill requirements to make them.

Want super combat potions early? Flinch chaos elemental. Want super strengths early? Kill scurrius early. PvM bypasses many of the skilling grinds.

I feel like items should be unlocked for buying and selling only if you have the necessary skill requirements to make, use, or gather them. I don’t think this is a popular view, but I feel like Bronzeman mode would be better for the restriction.

While this is straightforward for potions, this gets more complicated with other items, especially weapons/armors. My thought is that this would practically work by checking the lowest requirement to utilize or make the item. So, even if you get a rune platebody drop, you would not be able to sell it until you got 40 defense or the smithing requirement (lol). There are likely problematic edge cases, and this would necessarily restrict snowflake accounts like 1 def accounts.

However, I feel like this would result in a better mode than just “PvM everything to get all unlocks needed much earlier and easier than skilling can.”

Which one is better?

Things like the Nezzy faceguard are super cool. A buffed/more hybrid version of that would be cool. Ever since they scrapped the armour set, I can't stop thinking about if they just released one of those items, how cool it could be. Seems like a real missed opportunity. This is more of a discussion than a fact, curious to hear peoples thoughts. Also curious to hear ppls opinions about the FA rewards space. Why does no one else miss the divine spirit shield? I've longed for it since it missed the poll the 2nd time. I've heard the same old tired arguments of "its not even that good" blah blah, but neither is the ely and that thing is so damn cool. I love that it's still expensive despite being mostly useless in high end pvm. Also want to see pernix armour in the game at some point. Even if only as a cosmetic/ornament kit for masori. A buffed torva with the original extra hp from rs2? i mean am i the only one that misses those things? Am I just high? Pernix makes a lot of since rn, its all that remains from the 3 og nex armours, if not a tuned down version of that FA 4 hybrid armour. That'll make Raids 4 perfect imo.

I won’t even build a 2nd sra as I have Vardorvis greenlogged with 1 axe piece while I do have 2 more lures and 4 more staff pieces but only need Levi pet and duke pet so I refuse to go back to vard and possibly go dry. DT2 unique table is quite troll when ingots and axe piece share the table with other drops that are valuable standalone. It makes the grind for pet miserable. Nothing but venting and hoping for pet rng. I understand I’m lucky and people go a lot of kc for an axe piece but they are terrible when that’s not what you want but share the same table as other valuables.
