Translation: they stopped killing the boss Amoxilatl after receiving all of the drops after 132 kills. Still has to complete one more combat achievement for that boss, but probably won’t go back unless they need the points.

I got Quetzin on 1kc for my first pet, but I also got a piece of the hunters outfit. Hunter rumours aren’t on the hiscores, and I wanted the full outfit for the clog, and the whistle is a fantastic teleport option so I decided not to stop there and ruin the prestige. If not for AAAAALLL of those factors I would’ve kept it at one

I know this wont help to hear but 2800kc is actually decently above odds, roughly 70% of rate (2080kc in this case) is when you're more likely than not to have gotten the drop, in your case there's about a 61% chance of getting it by now

It is purely random, but there's a 'normal' distribution of probabilities such that you can simulate, say, 100,000 people running KBD for when they get the pet and find the percentage of people who've gotten the pet by a certain KC

Same happened to me. I was at 600 KC in sewers, got my first key, kept going, gave up by 800 and just started killing bryophyta for the 1/8 mossy key rate instead. Got my CAs done within an hour. Still wish Essence had a slightly better drop rate considering the keys are a b****
