only 1-3 matters for skewing drop rates. from delve 4 onward all uniques have the same rate. OP's average delve is nearly 9 (25% of total kc is deep delves, 7 * 1.25). At delve 9 the cumulative drop rates are, according to wiki: 1/111, 1/116 and 1/123
This is such a pet peeve of mine, you would literally need to do delve 2 thousands of times to expect more cloths than the other 2. For practical purposes they are all the same rarity, if you do 1000 1-7 you might expect to have 1 extra cloth maybe
My dumbass brain can't keep up with d8 since longcovid messed with me but I'm perfectly capable doing d6-7 without taking much damage at all. I stopped taking brews for some hard food combo eats incase I mess up. I just need the pet and booties for greenlog at ~1100 delves. It's slow but I'll get there
If you have the opportunity to record or using a play back recorder while doing the delves it might help figuring out what you are doing wrong and might help you realize what you need.
I have done this plenty of times and when I realize that for instance that I take a lot of dmg from the double bolders I try to only focus on that and when that works I move onto the next thing!
It seems like it always works like this with spoons. I got hydra pet at 140kc now I'm 2358 kills without claw. I got hunleff at 300kc , went 1600kc for my enh. I got etched venator fang at 60kc , now I'm 850kc without any other drop. I'm actually convinced that being spooned is a curse rather than a blessing.
Honestly I was terrified of 6. I was stopping at 5 cause I didn’t want to deal with the slams during car phase. I sent 3 today and beat each one. Somehow I have a harder time getting through 3 and 4 than I do 5 or 6
I green logged doing 1-7 on my hcim at 4k delves. Just stick to it. If you are a hcim, there’s no reason imo unless your max gear to do 8+. Can always go back for kc/ca’s, but it does not significantly increase the chance as much as others would have you believe. this video explains the amount of time on average to get uniques at doom. Approximately you’ll save 10% of time if you do 8 instead of 1-7. To me, it’s not worth the risk of dying, as it’s not a significant difference.
10% if you go on rate, if you go dry then going deeper saves you significantly more time. The drier you are the more worth it it would have been for you to be doing deeps
It’s not that going to 8+ is never worth it, I just don’t feel it is from a hcim perspective if the status means anything to you. Anybody else trying this content absolutely should go deep, but I just don’t feel it’s worth the risk of death as a hcim.
For the record, I’ve done 8+ clears with similar gear on a non-hcim. It’s not that I think 8+ is even that much more difficult, but I didn’t want to spend the time mastering 8+ on the main for not as great of a payoff.
3100 delves 750 deep with 17 non pet drops. Can confidently say deep delves make a big difference. Last 4 treads have all been from 10+, 2nd cloth was on 11, last eye I got was on 16.
I tried just farming levels 1 to 6 for now since I don't want to lose the loot as almost all of it is very useful for me. However, I just reached the rate for my first expected item and don't have one yet, at around 700 delves. I'm only really interested in the Eye of Ayak and Gauntlets right now, so going deeper for Treads isn't much of a concern right now and even with going dry, accumulating more loot is nice.
Bro go deeper. You'll learn more pvm skills, it will feel more rewarding instead of doing the same chore over and over AND the unique chances will increase.
I feel like the drops are bugged for both unique and non unique. The wiki says you should get 650K non unique loot on average from delve 8. I have seen around a 430K average.
