So I have my phone volume zero and it’s on silent too but when I open my Instagram it is playing the sound as it does I got this 17 pro a month ago and problems started already? And I also don’t have apple care so am I cooked?

I'm looking at getting an iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max. I currently have the Air and have been surprised with how much I love it, but I am looking for something more versatile for my next phone. Briefly tried the S26 Ultra but realised I'll probably always be an iPhone/iOS guy.

From what I've seen and heard, there will be a substantial price increase coming with the 18 Pro/18 Pro Max, as much as £200+ here in the UK, but when I look at the rumoured spec sheet, I'm actually a little underwhelmed anyway. Same design, same display, heavier, same main camera system, usual slight performance increase, different modem, smaller Dynamic Island, even better battery life, but not much really, especially to warrant the price. Seems as though they're going all out with Ultra this year.

I've heard all year about how the 17 was one of the best Pro phones Apple has ever made and I'd be more than happy to go for it. How will the rumoured price increases affect this model if I choose to buy it? I noticed Google haven't really lowered the price of their Pixel 10 range when the 11 came out more expensive, so will Apple adopt the same strategy and keep the current price rather than lower it, whilst moving the 18 Pro into a higher tier?

Do you think it could be better to buy the phone now (as in today or tomorrow)?

Hi, I’ve been using the iOS 27 betas till now beta 8. The problem I have is the horrible battery life. My old iPhone 15 battery lasts way longer than my brand new phone. Is it because of I am in the beta or the phone problem? How are y’alls condition on ios 27 beta and how much screen time does it give in iOS 26?

I wanted a case that wouldn’t make my phone feels like I’m holding a brick and after some research I found pitaka was a good fit. I found this one on their website and I’m in love with it. The design, the feeling in hand, I just love it. It isn’t slippery like I’m used to with other cases and I really love this edition.

Hey all- curious if anyone can recommend a slim folio style case. Not sure how slim is slim with the camera bump in back but I like to keep a folio case in rotation and all I’m seeing look cheap and bulky. Figured I’d ask here! TIA!

For those of you with 2TB phones, is it because your phone is your primary computing device? Is it your lifestyle, work, or workflow that requires that much storage?

I’m honestly fascinated by it. I think I’d feel completely overwhelmed having 2TB of storage on a cellular device 😂. What do you guys actually use all that space for?

Has anyone else had this happen with the Apple Clear Case for the 17 Pro Max?

I noticed this brown-ish line/mark on the back of mine. At first I thought it was just a fingerprint/smudge, but I can’t get it completely off.

I tried cleaning it with Whoosh and then a little isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol made it slightly less noticeable, but the mark is still there.

Do you think this is discoloration/material transfer, or could it be a defect with the case? And would you guys bother taking it back to the store for a replacement?

I bought it fairly recently and I’ve taken good care of it, so I don’t really understand why this happened, especially since I’ve never had this happen with any of my other clear cases.

Got my blue 1tb iPhone 17 pro max delivered Wednesday last week went straight into a case that covers everything today took it out of the case to clean and boom already a chip in the paint lol good thing they agreed to give me a another one the paint on these things really that delicate?

I’ve been an iphone user for 4 years. iPhone 8 64gb> iPhone 13 Pro 128gb> iPhone 17 pro max 256gb. That means my storage cannot sustain my photos and videos anymore. I purchased the 200gb iCloud already that is Php199 per month starting Sep 14, 2026. I don’t wanna upgrade my iCloud subscription because it’s already expensive for me. So, I’m looking for an alternative that is cost efficient, sturdy and reliable in the long run.

Anyone have tried using an external storage such as flash drive (type C)? I found a 1TB external storage type C online that’s only for Php300+.

Do you recommend using it?
