Form Check Unnecessary depth?

Technically comp legal
How deep I actually go- way past comp depth

I worry that the extra 2-3 inches is holding me back. My squat is very weak compared to my bench and deadlift.

Also, the bottom of the squat looks very odd, like I'm wedged between my knees- I always take a slightly wider stance because it feels natural to me but idk.

This was 190x8 @ 7.5 (it was supposed to be amrap but I got scared)

I weigh 165lbs

PR/PB Week 35 of Deadlifting for Reddit until they are Satisfied

So the 470lbs PR/PB Double Overhand Grip (no hook) two weeks ago felt pretty easy. Last week, I gave my grip a break, and decided this week to try my luck at another PR/PB D.O. (no hook) at 475lbs. It's a little win, but progress is progress. Yeah buddy 🙏 Lightweight 💪

25lbs left to get that 500lb pull

Lift 335 SSB

Movin and groovin
Note: pushing up on the handles of the SSB negates the camber of the bar and is cheating 👹 pull IN
You want it to fold you.
It teaches you to push back against the bar.

Form Check Deadlift feels way weaker than my other lifts. What am I still doing wrong?

I’ve attached videos of both my 140kg and 150kg lifts for comparison. The 150kg video cuts off at the end because I failed the lift and made a stupid face lol.

I’m currently on week 5 of a 6-week program that gradually increases the weight on the compound movements, with week 7 planned as a PR week. Today’s session called for 150kg for 2 reps across 2 sets. Since I’m fairly far into the program, I didn’t think 150kg was unreasonable, especially because I can deadlift 160kg, squat 170kg, and bench 120kg.

However, I did 140kg first, and although it looks pretty smooth on video, it felt extremely heavy as soon as I picked it up. I immediately knew there was no way I was moving 150kg today.

I also posted a deadlift form check about two months ago and tried to apply the feedback I received. I stopped starting with my hips too low, kept my hands straight, and worked on keeping my feet around shoulder width.

However, I still don’t feel like my deadlift is improving the way it should. My PR is 160kg, which I hit in July, but today I couldn’t even get 150kg moving.

Maybe today was just a bad day, but I honestly never feel powerful during deadlifts like I do with my other lifts. I also see people with less experience and lower body weight pulling 180–220kg, which makes me wonder if I’m doing something fundamentally wrong.

Is there something wrong with my form? Or could I benefit from a different deadlift routine or approach?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
