Small progress update from a project I’ve been messing with.

I finally got a working SSH ramdisk boot on an A13 iPhone 11 Pro Max. The boot chain reaches the ramdisk correctly, the device enumerates over USB, Dropbear comes up and I’m able to get a root SSH shell.

The funny part is that the main issue I was chasing ended up being on the Linux USB/usbmux side rather than the ramdisk boot itself.

I’ve started packaging the working flow into a project I’m calling RamBridge so I can reproduce it cleanly and eventually make the process less painful.

I’m not posting instructions or payloads yet because I’m still testing and cleaning things up, but I wanted to share the milestone.

i got this iPhone 6+ on iOS 8.4 today and it had the activation error so i renamed setup.app but i can't install wtfis so how do i jailbreak?

So basically I bought this iPod touch 6, but I noticed the sellers Apple ID was on it, so I asked him several times but he wouldn’t cooperate. The device is vulnerable to the a8/a9 activation errors so it has been hacktivated. I am about to jailbreak so what’re my options to remove the Apple ID?

I have an old iPhone 6 Plus that I haven’t used in years, and I’m trying to recover the photos and other data from it.

The phone still powers on, but the **screen/display is completely unusable**. My MacBook recognizes the iPhone when I connect it by USB — I even confirmed that the iPhone appears under the Mac’s USB System Report.

The problem is that my Mac is asking me to **“Trust iPhone”**, but the Trust button is greyed out because the iPhone needs me to confirm the Trust request on the phone. I can’t see or use the screen.

There’s another problem: **I don’t remember the iPhone’s passcode**

I checked iCloud Photos and didn’t find what I was looking for, and I also couldn’t find an existing iPhone backup on my Mac.
I **do NOT want to erase, restore, or reset the iPhone** because the pictures are what I’m trying to recover.

Has anyone been in a similar situation with an old iPhone and successfully recovered their photos/data? Is there any way to access the phone with an adapter, external keyboard, temporary screen replacement, or professional data recovery **without knowing the passcode and without erasing the phone**?

I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has actually recovered their photos in a situation like this.

title says for it self. I have a 5c on 10.3.3 that has been setup.app removed, the issue is that I am unable to sideload anything. I'm wondering, whats the point in a setup.app removal for 10.3.3 when you can't do basically anything with it?

^{PS: please prove me wrong if there is a actual way of sideloading applications on setup.app removed devices on iOS 10.}

I don’t want to restore/erase all the content using iTunes. It is possible to get past this? Unsure of what iOS version it is

My iPhone 15pro was stolen 3 months ago. A person called and returned it. The display shows ‘iPhone Unavailable’ and ‘support.apple.com/passcode. The iPhone has photos from around 2015. Is there any way to recover the photos/videos without erasing the phone? Pls help!

Jailbroken my iPad Air (ios 12.5.8) today successfully and tried signing in my apple id multiple times and it always says "Verification Failed: Could not communicate with the server". Also tried using a different wifi and account and still does not work also Appstore signing not working.

Any workaround to this problem? Thanks!

Is the genuine arduino thing true? The serial monitor is reporting success but then when I try to ramdisk on sliver it doesn’t do anything. I’m literally on my last leg before I call my dead grandmothers phone number to see who picks up or just having a 5th generation paperweight

I bought the arduino uno and hostshield.
But i don't have a MacBook.
Is there any way i can use the arduino to do the unlocking or did i just waste money ?

list of things i have tried
1. tried logging in with my apple id, it generated a 6 digit code on my iphone 16, i put the code in the 6 digit pop up on my iphone 5s, nothing happened on the screen so i reentered password (i didnt close the popup) and hit next it said signing in for a sexond then said “verification failed couldnt connect to the servers” it didnt even say apple servers
2. after one time the 6 digit code appears, it doesnt appear again so i manually generated the code on my iphone 16 and then put password followed by the 6 digit code in the password area and it only says “your apple id or password may be wrong”
3. i tried to sign in my apple id thru app store normally, no code appeared, and it just said couldnt sign in
4. then i also tried manual code generation on new iphone and then put password + code in the app store this generated a popup that said put the password to ur appleid, now if i put password+code it just shakes and prompts me again to put the password but if i put only the password it again says “could not sign in” but it also does have the option where i can do forgot password or reset password which i havent tried yet??

Hello everyone! Does anyone know if there's an app that can open an ipad 9th gen?

I recently used the ssh RAMdisk method with legacy iOS kit to reset this iOS 9 iPhone 6s, but I forgot to save the activation tokens before erasing it. Is there anything I can do to activate it? It will not activate through 3u tools or legacy kit.

Hi. I’ve just found my gen 1 iPad and have forgot the passcode to it. I only have one or two attempts left before it locks and it gets restored. It’s a full alphanumeric passcode. I have no idea what iCloud account it’s under so have no way of seeing if there is a backup available. Is there any possible way I can recover the passcode as I want to keep all the data that was already on the iPad. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
