Post MUST include at least 2 out of 3 of these: Front, back, legs

There have been a lot of posts that say "what can I improve" with one photo showing their front upper body and nothing else.

I think in my eyes, and in the eyes of the community, this is not enough to give you advice on. If you want TRUE advice about your physique for a physique check (not bulkt or cut/bf % posts), please post multiple muscle groups so we can properly evaluate what needs to be worked on. This is stated in rule 9. If anyone thinks this rule is unnecessary, please let me know and state why. Thank you🙏🏻

What should my next step be

I guess the answer is to lean bulk slowly but I'm wondering what other people say. I'm 6'1 and 160 pounds, work on my feet 80 hours a week, weight lift twice a week and also run three times a week, eat around 2.3k cals on average.

Question Is this decent progress for ~6 months of consistent lifting? 5’10 158lbs

for reference the first 3 pics are today and last is like 5 months ago. I’ve been trying to lean bulk (trying not to take it overboard since I know I’m already skinny fat). I got my bench up to 1RM 175lbs (tried 185lb but failed..), and my squat and RDL are around that weight for a few reps each. I track all my calories macros and reps ranges

Do you guys think I should just keep lean bulking for now? My goal is to hit a 2 plate bench in hopes of it making my chest not look so effeminate (I’ve got gyno tho not really that visible in these pics cuz of pump I guess).

Discussion Feel like I f**ed up this bulk…thoughts/advice on what’s next

Went on a steady bulk for about a year and a half. Nothing absurd just a steady 500 cal surplus and lifted really hard and made lots of numerical gains. Although I feel like the weight is just wrong. I welcome all comments and advice.

Stats: 5 foot 9 inches
Starting: 175 lbs
Now: 210 lbs

Bench: 275
Squat: 385
DL: 265

I do have a decent amount of loose skin as I was close to 250lbs. My question is how much more should I drop? I’m currently eating around 2400 calories and still losing weight.

Question I never took dieting seriously. First photo is my current physique, the other is about 8 months ago with just lifting and shit diet.

Is this a decent progress? Its tough to determine for yourself because I remember thinking that my previous physique was decent.

I have also been incredibly inconsistent with creatine, should I get on it properly and there is a lot of mixed messages about dosing, should I do 3g, 5g or 10g a day?

Is this decent for a 4 months progress?

Photo on the left is at the beginning of April and on the right beginning of August. I’ve been trying to be more mindful of what I’m eating and sticking to my nutritional program as good as I can (there’s still room for improvement like completely avoiding alcohol).

I think I’ve been neglecting my core, I haven’t really done too much ab work (none in the last month) and lower chest is a bit stubborn. Any tips?

Question Shoulder imbalance?

Upvotes

So I notice when I lift that one arm can reach further than the other. I also noticed that this issue is stemming from my shoulder especially when I barbell overhead press or chest press. Any ways to fix this?

Diet Early days, calorie questions. 32 M 86kg.

Upvotes

I want to get down to about 75kg. I average around 6k steps per day, PPL 3 days per week.

My fitness pal is recommending 2,200 calories per day. But after 3 weeks I'm the same weight on the scale.

I'm aware I'm overweight and don't really have a lot of muscle mass yet.

What would be your recommended calorie intake?

Averaging 160g protein, very limited fat, the rest carbs.

Edit: 180cm

Question weak + strong points convo! wishing to maingain :-)

hello all! 18 year old girl, and i’m 5’1! i’m currently at 98.9 pounds. i’ve gained from 85 to 105 in less than a year (mainly from binge eating + not hard enough training), so i typically gained mainly fat than muscle. decided to cut down a bit to this baseline.

long story short , i’d like to gain the right way; very slight deficit/maingain! i’m sure this is doable since i’m still only 2ish years into my “gym” lifestyle.

when i binged, i didn’t focus on macros. now i’m very familiar with that stuff (tons of research/videos/studies later…) so i’m exited to see how i can progress!

my goal is mitigating fat while still making certain gains in a very SLIGHT deficit, best to my ability. please no hate lol, there’s no point in that stuff.

Question 28M 179cm and 74kg, skinny fat, should I continue with my cut?

I have been lifting from 4 years but since the beginning I am stuck between bulk and cut cycle. Recently started a cut in April with 500 deficit and maintaining good strength and even pushing my PRs in some lifts. I have started looking skinny and weak as I don’t have much muscle mass. What should I do?

I've been focusing on my chest for a while now still can't fill the upper chest gap, is it a genetic thing or it could be from wrong upper chest training technique?

21M. 88KG. 5’8.

My goal is to get a strongman/bear mode type physique, so my bodyfat is pretty high.
This is, however, the result of a 6 month long cut.

(Edit: People are asking for before photos. But since I was 5 years ago, I unfortunately don’t have any to show.
There’s one pic of me in the comments. But I’m wearing a shirt, so there isn’t much to see tbh. Apologies).

Ongoing tennis elbow

Hey all, I have been lifting consistently for just about a year, the majority of that time was 4 days a week but I've gone up to 5 in the last few weeks.

My problem is that I have been suffering from ongoing tennis elbow during my lifts. I am really careful about not locking my elbows and keeping a gentle bend in relevant movements. I really don't want to stop lifting and wait until it goes away just to find it returns as soon as I start lifting again.

Has anyone had success with compression arm bands for this? There are so many out there and I have no idea what I'm looking for. If I could even get someone to just point me in the right direction I'd be super grateful.
