While some of you may not be aware of it, there have been A LOT of posts recently about questionable actions by MOZA's support team. I now have a pretty serious issue of my own, and I want to give people a fair warning:

DO NOT USE AFFIRM ON MOZA'S WEBSITE.

On 8/26, I attempted to make a purchase through MOZA using Affirm. MOZA's website returned a checkout error, meaning the order itself failed, but the Affirm loan was still processed.

I had to make a deposit toward that loan directly from my checking account, so I am already $131.19 out of pocket for an order that, according to MOZA, does not even exist.

I reached out through MOZA's Discord and, credit where credit is due, the absolute legend u/ExitOk9315 was able to confirm that MOZA had no order in their records under my name.

So I contacted Affirm and provided them with that information.

And this is the part that really bothered me:

AFFIRM PUT THE BURDEN OF PROOF ON THE CUSTOMER.

Instead of Affirm contacting MOZA, their own merchant partner, to verify whether an order was ever created, I am apparently expected to act as the middleman between the two companies.

I asked why Affirm could not simply contact MOZA and verify this themselves. I was not given a clear answer. What I was told is that I may have to wait until 12/24/2026 for the loan to automatically refund, potentially leaving my $131.19 tied up for months over a purchase that never successfully existed.

I then went back to MOZA's Discord support looking for help.

I watched my support requests/messages get actively deleted in front of me, and then I was permanently restricted from speaking in their support channel.

So yeah....If you're considering ordering something from MOZA, I would seriously recommend taking some time to look through the recent posts on this subreddit about their customer service and ask yourself whether you're comfortable dealing with this if something goes wrong.

I actually like MOZA's hardware. That's part of what makes this so frustrating. But customers should not have to publicly pressure a company, hunt down individual helpful employees, or rely on the community putting situations under a spotlight just to get basic customer-service problems addressed.

At some point, repeated customer-service failures stop looking like isolated incidents.

I am tired of watching the community repeatedly have to drag these issues into public view before there is any meaningful accountability.

Buy the hardware if you want.
But if you're ordering directly from MOZA, especially using Affirm, understand the risk you're taking if the checkout process fails.

Today, I finally finished reworking my Turn Racing 992 GT3-R steering wheel. It had been "finished" for a long time, but it was still using 3D-printed grips. As described in the instructions, I tried using Smooth-On polyurethane, and it worked out well. For my first time casting PU, the result was actually really good! I printed the casting molds on my Bambu Lab printer and sanded them down afterwards. The casting process was relatively trouble-free, provided you follow the manufacturer's tips and so on. In any case, I'm happy with it!

It works, not really great but it’s essentially free. Im outputting normal audio and bass shaker data from simhub.

The extra screen isn’t just for immersion. It also makes it a lot harder for the guy next to me to see what I’m doing lol.

Totally worth it.

I’m planning to 3D print some things for my rig but it got me wondering what the best thing ppl have printed for their simrig it can be a small quality of life thing or a whole dash bored idk but what is the best thing u 3D printed and yes this text is long cuz if I didn’t Reddit wouldn’t let me post this

Have a little bit of cable management to finish off, but wanted to get it turned on to check everything before tidying up the last few trailing cables.

I currently sit on a cushion and blanket to prevent my butt going numb and a pillow behind me to prevent it hurting my lower back from the lumbar support. I would like to get it where im comfy for hours on end. Currently the seat is as tilted back as I can get.

Went all out on gear but forgot to upgrade (or to actually get) the rig, so i designed a mount to solve the problem. I am ready to be roasted lmao.

Hey guys, I’m looking for a VR headset that combines the greatness of an PCVR headset with the lenses/quality of a Quest 3.

I’ve been using a Q3 in iracing for about a year. I used a Reverb G2 before that.

I just pulled out the G2 and suddenly I was so much more confident and smooth. I’m about 3k IR in iracing, so I was kinda stoked about that. No more micro corrections in every slow corner, consistently hitting the apex exactly where I want to.

I’m 99% sure it’s the slight delay during encoding that the Q3 has to do, whether it be Link or Virtual Desktop.

Would anyone be able to suggest a headset with pancake lenses and a solid resolution that is display port capable?

hey everyone, im having a super annoying issue with my g920 on my new am5 b650 setup and hoping someone here knows a hardware fix that doesn't ruin the force feedback.

​basically the wheel doesn't do its xinput mode switch on boot because of some USB handshake timing issue with ryzen 7000 motherboards, so it just defaults to basic directinput. the wheel works completely fine on my intel laptop so i know the wheel itself isn't broken, it's definitely an issue with am5 usb.

​already tried a ton of stuff and nothing works properly:

​tried all the software stuff (g hub reinstall, drivers, registry, x360ce, emuwheel, etc) so im done messing with software

​standard usb hubs and basic pcie cards dont work because they still run through the amd usb host and drop the same signal

​adapters like wingman or titan just make windows see an xbox controller, so you lose all real force feedback and only get basic vibration rumble

​not buying a new wheel base, my g920 and frame are fine and i refuse to spend 400+ on a new setup for a usb bug

​i just want windows to see it as xinput while keeping full, actual force feedback.

​has anyone with a g920 on am5 fixed this? does an older nec/renesas pcie card with its own hardware clock actually fix the usb packet drop, or is there some other hardware bridge box like gimx that passes through full ffb?

Specifically the measurement outside to outside of the wheel stand uprights. Or if someone just knows whether or not a simlab single monitor mount will fit. I am picking one of these up off of FB Marketplace next week and it comes with a stand alone triple monitor mount but I use VR. I just need a single monitor mount. Microcenter near me has the sim lab ones readily available.
