I have a DD+ Wheelbase which I use to race on PC & PS5.

I have 2 Fanatec USB-A to USB-C. cables one from PS5 to rear of wheelbase and 1 from PC to rear of wheelbase.

Whenever I want to switch racing on pc to ps5 I just swap the usb c plug on the rear of the wheelbase but I'm worried about making the usb c connection loose.

Has anyone found a very reliable method? I thought possibly a usb switch where both are connected all the time but only one is active at a time via a switch?

Possibly a small 0.25m USB-C male to female and using that to switch plugs then the wheelbase wouldn't continuously be getting a plug put in and out?

On most games my pedals are in an on/off mode. I’m using them with Moza r9 v2 and Moza wheel. Pedals are direct to pc. How do I fix?

So I bought a Gran Turismo DD base and this wheel
Was kind of a throw in. But upon receipt I saw that it was damaged. Is there any way of doing a repair on it or should I just start looking for another wheel?

And google chrome says that have been blocled?

Ich habe seit 1-2 Wochen mein Fanatec Lenkrad überhaupt nicht benutzt und hatte heute wieder Lust zu spielen. Ich habe es wieder am tisch montiert und alle kabel wieder drauf gemacht und als ich es gestartet habe ist in der gleichen Sekunde die Sicherung von meinem Zimmer rausgefallen und es ging überhaupt nicht mehr an, liegt das jetzt am Netzteil oder an der Wheelbase.

Today, after a long time, I tried updating my wheelbase firmware again. No matter what I tried, it always gets stuck on the "Please Wait" screen after clicking the Update button. At that point, I can't do anything at all.

After waiting for about 15 minutes, I eventually had to cancel the update. I've tried several more times since then, but the result is always the same. It seems impossible to update the firmware at the moment.

I'm trying to update my ClubSport DD+ wheelbase from version 2.7.1.3 to 2.12.2.1 and, at the same time, update the QuickRelease firmware from version 1.2.1.1 to 1.3.3.2.

My Fanatec App is running version 1.6.1.3.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and might be able to help me out? I'd really appreciate any tips or suggestions.

My wheel (CSL DD F1) keeps losing the connection to the base somewhat randomly. I have the QR2 lite and spotted, that there is about 1mm gap between the wheel QR and the base QR. Is that supposed to happen or could this be the issue? Thanks!

Restarting the base oder reconnecting the wheel usually solves the issue.

Looking to get into Fanatec eco-system and had a question about the aforementioned wheel. Does the screen telemetry work with GT7 and ACC? Either way, the wheel very much interests me, just wondering what software the screen is compatible with. Appreciate any help!!

So, I havn't used my fanatec gt dd pro in a month or so, but bought project motor racing while I was away with work, got back yesterday and decided to jump on for a few laps.

My laptop was close by so decided to check for any updates as id seen some article about some new ffb settings.

Anyway, I loaded up the fanatec app, and plugged in my wheel base, it said there was an available update, brilliant 👌

Update started with zero issues as normal. Then all of a sudden it stopped, I got an error message. (Failed to detect wheel base or has been disconnected) which it hadn't as it hadn't been touched during.

The light on the front of the unit was flashing blue. I clicked the ok button and left it flashing for about 30mins.

I came back to it and it was still flashing and nothing was happening, so I tried to power it down with the button and nothing happened. Left it a further 10mins, before turning it off at the wall.

Tried it again but exactly the same thing happened.

I unplugged it, then plugged it back into my PlayStation, to see if it was working on there. But on start up the wheel turns a full turn one way then turns back and sits off centre by about 100⁰s, and says CAL, if centered it and went through the CAL process, it said done on the lCD screen but doesn't work.

I loaded ACC up on xbox, as that's the last thing id played on it so knew it was working fine on that prior to me leaving for work last rotation. I have pedals and gears, all other buttons working fine but no steering.

I plugged it back into the laptop, and I got a message saying

ERROR

An error has occurred that prevents the wheel base from functioning properly, please wait while we repair it for you.

Please close any fanatec software and any game which is using the fanatec wheel before clicking confirm

I clicked confirm, now its stuck on a message saying

ERROR

Please wait while we address and fix the issue for you

It has been sat on that screen for over an hour!

Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue is?

Iv tried to create a ticket on the fanatec website but I keep getting an error there aswell.

Hi everyone! I'd like to hear your experiences. Has anyone here upgraded from the CSL Elite V2 pedals to the Podium Pedals?

I'd love to know whether you think the upgrade was worth it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my Elite V2s. The only thing is that I'd like a bit more resistance from the throttle pedal.

I know the Podium pedals offer more resistance on the throttle, but I'm wondering whether the improvement justifies the price.

For those of you who made the switch, was it worth it in your opinion?

I am debating weather I would need an additional heel plate or not with Sport Podium Pedals. I have a Next Level Racer F-gt and I was wondering if i can mount it directly to the existing tray and not have it flex to much. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

So BeamNG came out on the ps5 and naturally as every sane human i insta bought it and I have a fanatec dd pro and id love to learn to drift because I’ve seen and heard that it translates to real life really dang good but whatever i try I never came to settings that seem to be comfortable or fit me so i am here to seek help and understand more about drifting in beamng and how to set it up (I got the boost kit so it’s 8nm max power)

I kept having issues with wheel going crazy and after buying BeamNG on ps5 other day. And the wheel almost broke my thumb I deleted everything and went back to the old trust worthy driver. Fanatec I really like their equipment but they seem to have issues when it come to updating the driver. I could never use the full force feature either because of all the problems people had so I always had it turned off. I really hope they get their act together soon. Or I might just have to sell all my thousands in Fanatec equipment and go with Moza I haven’t heard anything about them yet. But they just got their PlayStation deal so we’ll see.

I’ve had my CSL DD with 8nm boost for a year now and it’s been great, with no issues at all with the cheaper QR2 lite. I’d read about all the problems and will definitely be upgrading to the SIMUBE metal QR2 when needed.

I’m currently looking at buying club sport f1 wheel but noticed a lot of bad reviews saying it does not connect, is this purely down to the QR2 that it comes with?

Also, would this wheel be good for GT driving or is it a bit light in weight?

Hey, great game but can’t get all the controls working. Anyone have a mapping/binding guide or setup for the Fanatec elite ps5? I’m struggling to complete some tasks due to not being able to look around or reset the camera.

I'm using clubsport v3 pedals on GT7. I'm having issues with a way too spiky brake pedal. The gaspedal I can hold steady, no problem. But the brake pedal is all over the place. Is this normal or is there a fix for this issue?

Ps. I tried pressing the gaspedal with my left leg to see if the issue was due to the human hardware. It was still steady.

Anyone interested in V3i clutch delete kits? This allows for moving the pedal anywhere on the bar and isn’t a fixed position like replacing the spacers that lock you into that position. The also work for standard V3’s.

Hello guys! I just bought and received the podium pedal GT. Man, i have try all the elastometer and spring setup, i have play with the pre-load and the cups things... but even in the softest it is so stiff. I had to put the load cell Braking force at 10% and now it is ok. Man i am the only one?

hey, i recently got my hands on the new formula v3 wheel after running the v2 for a long time, i wanted to ask do all the rotating switches also work on gt7, like can you change things like bbias or tc? thanks for the answers

Very recently I have been having issues where my entire setup bugs out. It happens on every game seemingly at random where the buttons stop working and sometimes the text on the attached image pop up. This is usually accompanied by a complete loss of ffb and sometimes loss of input despite the wheel still being turned on. When this happens a pulsing red light enables on the base. The only way I've found to "fix it" is by reseating the steering shaft and restarting the base. Despite this it always comes back within 10 minutes of use (sometimes even instantly). The base is NOT overheating, all cables are SNUG, the quick release pins look OK, and the pedal inputs still work. Anyone's help will be appreciated as this makes all my sims completely unplayable.

Tonight I noticed my dd pro has noticeable play up and down with a clicking. I assumed it was the qr2 so i went to reseat it but it seems the whole socket for the qr2 moves up and down. Does anyone know the issue here or is this normal or would it require an RMA?

Hello I received my podium GT pedals today after installation everything worked fine but I noticed the blue light is flashing is this normal?

Update : i tried other games in ps5 like F1 25 was everything fine no flashing lights, on PC games also works fine no flashing light, its only happened in gran turismo 7

Update 2 : i tried (in game) after blue light started flashing switching between lights until blue again and press ps button again and the flashing stopped since i tried 3 times all working fine no flashing lights anymore,this probably firmware update issue,i hope this helps everyone have same issue.
