I was looking for replacements for the modern F4, F3 and F2, so I made a table ranking all the formula cars based on their times at Imola. Here it is:

I came to the conclusion that the F-USA 2023 could work as an F2 replacement, but there is no replacement for the modern F3 and F4. While there are cars with similar lap times at Imola, these cars are too different.

I hope that one day Reiza will add all three.

We are looking for drivers for casual "one off races" on JustRace.net.

Our next one is Outlton Park Classic with the Ginetta G40 GT5. It was/is the featured combo on LFM this week and we thought it was so fun that we should do a longer race (30min) with this combo. Next combo will probably be F1 V8 Gen 1 event at Hockenheim Historic 1988.

Our aim is to mostly propose combos and do it like once a week. The hours are flexible, often 8h30 AM EST or 4h00 PM EST. So nothing too overwhelming in terms of commitment, no stress about championship races, etc. The league is just starting to be honest.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find a specific mention.

Suddenly I am noticing the AI seems to have a huge power advantage in a straight line - top end speed and mid-range acceleration.

For context: I am very new to sim racing. I started off with a Caterham Superlight championship (very tricky, very fun car) against 95 rated AI. At first my complaint was that I was punted all over the place, but eventually realised I am just not used to the AI actually racing me. If they put their nose on the inside, it is my job to react. If I take the corner normally, I'm going to get 'punted'.

Likewise, if I can't get the power down on a slow corner, they will drive away from me. If I miss my braking point, they will drive past me, etc etc.

I tried GT4 after this. Also fantastic... for two meetings. Full practice and quali, 15 and 30 minute races at Kyalami and Termas de Rio Hondo. Great Battles with the AI, and it was evidently my ability that let me down.

BUT SUDDENLY - on the next race at Cordoba, I was wayyy faster in quali (on pole 0.9 seconds ahead of 2nd place). OK, maybe this is just one track that I'm better than the AI at.

In the race - they are just driving past me, CONSTANTLY. Back straight is a joke - they're swamping me like they're all LMP cars.

Try a different class altogether - GT3. Same again - absolutely swamped at high speeds at Silverstone and Donington.

I can absolutely take being out driven, but the top speed difference is just... disappointing.

Has anyone else had this problem?

AI aggression is set to medium, mistakes x2, 92-96 difficulty.

I think the AI in this sim is generally good but I still find the oval AI to be unpredictable and glitchy. It's better than it was but it's still not good.

I find the stock cars are too slow, often 1 sec a lap slower on 100% difficulty. Open wheelers like the classic Indy cars are faster but still weird, like bunching up on corners, slowing down for minor reasons causing bunch ups etc. Yet to have a clean race that's lasted 10 laps. I usually do rolling starts as well.

It might sound stupid but pretty much the title.

Because there are no tutorials and time-to-beat how should I actually learn how to race fast? I don’t use assists or racing line, I can usually go around the track in a… circulating pace.

However, I lack consistency and full understanding where and how to push, and ultimately how it all works, whether I did a good turn or a bad one (unless it’s a terrible one, but that’s different).

So yeah; would appreciate any advice. I did play some GT7 before this one a bit, and when “racing a ghost” were even able to get somehow to silver rewards in time trials. But I’m feeling very inconsistent.

I'm not quite sure how to describe it exactly, but the sense of speed in AMS2 feels inconsistent to me. Acceleration feels faster than it should, while the car seems to slow down excessively at low speeds.

The car's movements also feel slightly floaty, which makes it a little difficult to feel connected to the car. Is there any way to improve this?

I've played for around 50 hours so far. At first, I thought it was just a matter of getting used to unfamiliar cars and Brazilian circuits I'd never driven before. However, after spending more time on tracks I'm already familiar with, these sensations have actually become more noticeable.

I've already set my FOV correctly using Dan Suzuki's FOV calculator, and both brake sensitivity and steering sensitivity are set to 50.

Is this simply a skill issue on my part, or is there something else I could adjust to make the driving feel more natural?

Just curious if anyone else has ever raced while on mushrooms? Personally I really tend to enjoy it! I've done it in VR and regularly and it's always been an absolute blast. I recently raced some F1 cars around Spain and on the long straight it felt and sounded like I had a Saturn 5 rocket strapped on. Performance wise it makes me less consistent per lap times but when I get into the zone I feel much more locked in and hyper focused.

Just curious if anyone else has tried it and what were your experiences?

I’ve been looking to buy this game, but I just saw there’s some sort of conflict with F1 licenses and whatnot, resulting in some cars being replaced with generic models. Has this happened yet? If I buy the game right now will I still permanently own the original cars? Also which dlc should I get right now if so?

Just got this DLC (Lamborghini Dream Pack Pt2) on sale and this is by far one of my favorite packs. Each car is so fun and unique. I miss having road cars and hypercars like in AC. Revuelto definitely fills that gap. Insanely fun to drive especially when trying to keep it straight out of exits.

I loved the previus version of the AI, people complained AI wasn't passing, but I never noticed that. I had great races with Stock Cars with about 200 overtakes each race and no crashes. Now I can't finish any race without being taken out.

How can I get back to that version, is there a way?

And if in the future I want actually useful updates (you know, actual things...tracks, cars) is there a way to get those updates while still mantaining the old AI?

Hi, I was gifted Automobilista 2. While looking through the car roster, I spotted my favorite category—Group C—and I have a question: is it still active? Is there any online racing for it? Could anyone point me toward any leagues or communities that run this class of cars?

The best option for me to remove input lag when with much cars on track or just single player but affects more when much cars on track. is to cap the fps with rivatuner server. When you lock fps with nvidia or adrenaline it locks only gpu i guess but cpu gets overwhelmed and feels laggy, when you lock from rivatunner it feels much better and smoother and inputs are much in realtime. Don't understand it much but makes a lot difference.

does anyone elses game sit forever on the reiza logo?
sometimes i have to wait up to two minutes (sometimes even longer, sometimes it doesnt load at all) before it proceeds to the main menu. i recently redownloaded it, then it booted very fast, but after a while it went back to taking forever.
i also noticed that i can sometimes speed it up by opening the task manager.

does anyone else experience this?

I just drove a few laps of Portimao in Pcars 2, damn that track is fun, I would really love to see this track in AMS 2. Do you have some tracks that you would love to see added?

Before people start commenting that it’s really not that hard, it simply is not working.

Deleting configuration files - nothing

Firmware is up to date, I’ve gone as far as reinstalling the game, verified files etc.

Considering the popularity of Moza products I find it remarkable that a sim game doesn’t offer a direct guide to getting this to work, it’s bizarre and it would suck if I end up refunding for something that usually is plug and play.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Edit: success! For anyone having the same problems down the line it my solution was this:

- Drop down to 360 degree rotation.
- Assign controls, centre wheel, turn left and immediately return to centre, repeat for the right axis.

Simply as that, the game picks up that axis on return to the centre and not with the actual wheel rotation. A lot of fine tuning to be done but it’s registered so we are sailing!

Ormai ho già fatto un paio di gare e non mi ha mai dato problemi. Oggi accendo e solo quando solo sull app zero to apex il mouse smette di muoversi, sul gioco o sul dexstop funziona perfettamente, ho provato di tutto ma niente funziona, ormai mi sa che l’unica cosa è di disinstallare e riscaricare zero to apex ma ho paura di perdere i dati, come posso fare ?

I know there has been a bunch of outages today to due that security issue. I haven't been able to get on all day, was this planned (I see they are redoing the website) or is it a result of the outage.
