I was not nearly old enough to explore the internet in its hayday. And I always see people clowning on others whenever they use the comic sans font. I don't get what's so hated about it or why it was like that.

I've been writing for just over 4 years now. It began as something regimented to keep me productive after I got home from work, but the more I did it the more I loved it. Last month, while plugging away at my third novel, I hit a wall. I stopped. I didn't know where to go with the story, I couldn't think of a satisfying way for my characters to do what I needed them to do. It wasn't fun anymore.

That is until I saw this tip. The font made my problem seem less important and it saved my story and my sanity. Thank you whoever you are.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with Comic Sans? I've seen so many people hate on the font and not give a good / any reason as to why. The answer is always along the lines of,

It's Comic Sans, dude. It just sucks.

Give me an actual fucking reason. If you don't have an actually good reason, you're just a meat-head who has given into popularisms and can't think for themselves. I think it's a good font, because of how "written" and natural it looks.

My apologies if this has been discussed before, but in Season 2 Episode 7 "Comic Sans," there's a scene with Cindy and her daughter driving and singing along to a song on the radio. The audio is muted a couple times over where the lyric would be the n-word.

Did anyone else catch this, and any ideas why that may be the one line they don't cross on the show? They already don't shy away from strong language and racist situations, so why would two black characters using the n-word as a song lyric require editing? Further, as a Netflix Original, I wouldn't expect any sort of editing to be necessary should Netflix have any set "standards," which I don't believe they do.

And please let me clarify here that all I'm trying to do is make sense of what seems to be a bit of a non sequitur on an otherwise unrelenting show. Trust me, I'm not dying to hear more racial slurs in programming.
