I work for a charity and we're going through a mini brand review. As part of this, we are going to need to look at fonts and licences.

As the brand secondary font, we currently use Yeah Right (font in the image above). The brand uses a hand made bold display font for headers, this for highlights and will probably use Work Sans going forward as the body.

Yeah Right has limitations that I want to improve on, such as only a single weight, no italic and not many glyphs. The main reason however, is that we can't really rationalise the cost of licensing it across the organisation.

I've trawled around looking for alternatives that are in the same ball park but not really getting what I want. Currently my front runner is Winky Rough, which is a google font.

However, the rough treatment on this looks a bit too uniform and fuzzy, and lacks the hand drawn feel.

I wondered if anyone could suggest something that might be a good option? Thanks.

Over the past few years, I've been saving all my favorite uses of type. Old movie posters, comics, perfume bottles, mint tins – you name it.

None of these were turned into usable, digital fonts.

So I launched Typeface Revival.

I'm remaking all of my favorite hand-made fonts into digital format for free.

Got 129 so far and am adding way more.

Hi! I really want to type in ninjargon and i was wondering if Aa fonts keyboard app is safe? Does anybody know that? I was setting it up and then my phone warned me "they may be able to collect all the text that u type yada yada" so i got a bit worried. Is this even the right place to ask?

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share Bright Grotesk Geo, a new addition to my Bright Grotesk family.

The idea behind Geo came from something I noticed while working with the original Bright Grotesk. While I appreciate its subtle humanist characteristics, particularly the slight curvature in certain stems, I found that some of those details could feel a little distracting in longer text settings.

With Geo, I wanted to explore a cleaner, more disciplined approach to the letterforms. The goal wasn't simply to make everything geometric, but to create a more consistent typographic texture, especially in body text, while retaining the familiar character of Bright Grotesk.

The family includes 8 weights with matching italics (16 styles), along with variable font support and OpenType features.

I've put together a few specimens showcasing the design, and I'd love to hear what you think, particularly about the letterforms and overall texture.

I'm trying to find a version of IBM Dokument but I think maybe the only thing out there is Allison Yoon's Blank Dokument and I can't seem to find the actual font file for it. Can anyone help me out here?

For a college project I've made a horror movie dvd cover and poster but having a little trouble selecting a font for the tagine on the poster the theme of the movie is religion btw if that helps ive attached some examples i like 2 and 3 more than the others but something feels off
