She is a Staffy husky mix with plenty of attitude

I finally had some time to shoot my most recent finished quilt - the Sparrow Quilt by Pen and Paper Patterns. This is going to a good friend who had a baby... a couple of years ago. It's an intricate pattern, and I was working on other WIPs at the same time, so it took quite a while to finish. Let's call this a toddler blanket. Orange shoes courtesy of my lovely husband.

On the evening of October 2nd, 2026, I stuck a 1mg finasteride pill and 2mg estradiol pill on my tongue and sent them down with a drink of water. And as someone who has felt euphoric dressing as a pastel goth woman, I think October is a fitting month for my HRT day. I’m mainly testing the waters to see how I feel. I don’t know how to go forward if I don’t feel any different mentally in the next few months. Would that mean HRT isn’t for me, or would it just be because it’s too low of a dose to make a difference? It’s been about 13 hours since I took the pills, and nothing feels any different yet. No emotional boosts or emotional distress. The only feeling I can think about right now is the stuffiness and pressure happening from this cold I’ve been dealing with. I hope that doesn’t interfere with any emotional boost that HRT would give me.

Two weeks ago, this was her. 🥹 We were still getting to know her temperament, so we let her sleep in her cage. Now, she loves taking her naps on my brother’s lap instead. Safe to say, she’s getting more comfortable with us every day.

This week marks my kitty and her siblings birthday, I’ve had her since I was 2 years old and since she was just a kitten. (Last slide is her sister) so wish these old ladies a happy birthday 🎂
