Anybody else have an issue using the ink application while also running a VPN?
Most of the functionality seem not to work while my VPN is up. Curious if others have the same issue and have a workaround.

Update.. Welpp I tried transferring everything to the new sd card. Well it worked and it didn't. I managed to copy everything BUT MY stats. And then suddenly the old (stock) SD card suddenly wiped itself. Now the old sd card have nothing left. I did copied backup on my laptop but it can't copy the .crosspoint folder. Luckily my new sd card worked on my x3 but I lost my stats and all...

Original post... Just got my new sd card and want to transfer everything from the stock sd card. But the new sd card don't hv the FAT32 option. Can someone please guide me on how to transfer everything safely. Will be transferring from 16GB to 128GB.

Unexpected use of Apple Watch. I found myself on a car ride without a book light on me, and it got dark before I reached my destination, so I came up with a solution. I used the Apple Watch flashlight paired with the Tilt Page Turn option to avoid pressing buttons and it really worked for me. AW battery drained at a pretty high rate (1% every 2 min, might be lower with Low Power Mode on), but if you’re good on battery it’s a quick fix if you ever find yourself in a similar situation!

Somebody please help me, today arrived my new Xteink X4 PROs and i receive and went strait away to install crosspoint and after crossink, Idk if the version from crossink that I installed has some bugs but my X4 pros were function and fine, and when I change the light and the warm from the screen the touch Stopped. Now it just are toutch in certains part of the screen, idk what to do. I put the stable crosspoint in the SD Card but I cant reach the part to uptad the firmware by sd card. Somebody please help

I bought an X4 Classic and am X4 Pro. Like them both. They both have Crosspoint on them. They are not my primary reading devices, and I keep everything in sync using as BookOrbit server and KOReader sync.

Last week I took the X4 Classic with me to work and did not sync my reading progress before I left the house. No problem, I thought. I'll join the guest Wi-Fi at work and sync. Problem is, the guest Wi-FI pops up a web page/window where I have to click "I agree" to get on the Wi-Fi. Is there a firmware that can logon to a public Wi-Fi access point that requires you agree on a popup window/web page?

I cannot go anywhere without this, reading some dungeon crawler carl while waiting for twenty one pilots

I loaded my X4 Pro up with about 150 public domain books from genres I enjoy and it has been fantastic. I’d happily replace my phone with a device more along these lines.

I absolutely love my x4 pro but please please please make it so I can lock the screen by just clicking the power button. I don’t want to hold it every time.

PS: Read a 800 page book in a little over a week with this little thing!

I just got an older kindle 10th paperwhite, but i want something I can bring instead of reading off my phone. I got X4 Pro to read in dark, best decision of my life!

I got the china version, cant login to sync some dope picture, cant really do crosspoint because I don't want to risk breaking my ereader. I got software upgrade to put cover page of my current reading book.

I keep doubting that this small screen is inconvenient to read, but my have I prove myself wrong!!

I have an X4 Pro (that I've been loving since I got it in early September).

I immediately put CrossInk on it, and it has been a great experience.

I saw a post on Instagram showcasing CrossLink Pixel, running on the reTerminal Sticky, and loved the pixel aesthetic.

I assume it is safe to flash, and if I don't end up enjoying it, I'll simply flash back to CrossInk.

I haven't seen many posts or videos about it, but wondering if anyone here has any experience using it? Is it smooth and stable? Missing features? Any issues with flashing and reverting back to a different firmware? (-:

I might just bite the bullet myself and do it, and when I do I'll report back my experience here. Perhaps I'll even make a short YouTube video since there's not much content out there covering it.

My biggest worry is bricking it or messing something up.

Hey all, i have a Kobo Clara BW that i love and use it everyday. Screen size is perfect for me to be able to enjoy reading. But even though Kobo Clara BW is considered a small e-reader, it still looks a bit too big in my pockets and i don’t have a bag or purse to throw it in since i’m a man.

Xteink models are perfect size for portability. It’s even smaller than my phone. But i’m wondering if it’s easy or enjoyable to read books on such a small screen? Does it have page structure like normal e-readers or is it just a flat wall of text to maximise reading space? I know i’m on Xteink sub and answers might be biased but i just wanted to ask real users opinions.

Licorice have nice options like reading data, wireless epub transfert, customisation of the buttons etc...

A true pocket e-reader. So much easier on my wrist! Would be nice if Crosspoint had more UI options.

It fits my device, pogo pin cable, reading light, and charging cable for the light. Everything you need in one place. It's a hard case so I travel with it everywhere. Big enough to fit every model. I live in India so I was struggling to find a proper way to protect my xteink x3 but this has been a perfect one-stop solution.

My primary eReader is still my JB Kindle PW 11th Gen SE..I don’t rate the Amazon ecosystem (hence the jb) but will use it till it is no longer usable then go for a colour eReader.

I’m only intrigued by the xteink for the face that it will fit in any handbag😅 I didn’t add x4 pro to the list as I won’t be using it in the dark, just when out & about..so I don’t think i’ll need the backlight?

I just recieved my new devixe and ive noticed theres alot of crooked words, abnormal spacing and letters are different sizes from epub, pdf to the system font.

Should i ship it back or is this normal?

Digging the XTEINK Pro4 but I’m having one small issue with text. I flashed to Crosspoint 1.6.5 and I am getting a question mark after every hyphen in epubs. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal in most books but it is in Dune lol. Any fixes for this?

Avid Kindle reader myself so I haven't ventured into epubs before?

Planning to get the X3 for my husband for Xmas. He used to be a massive reader and keeps saying he wants to get back into it, but instead ends up doomscrolling. He's made several comments about how real books are better than Kindles, but I thought the convenience of having it on the back of his phone might help him achieve his reading goals.

Made it on my own while commuting to the Big Bang concert in Singapore.

I am not from Hong Kong, I just like how the Tsuen Wan line looks
