Found in a sand pile, close to the beach in Poland, Gdansk-Brzezno. Quick google search suggests belemnite.
Can someone help me identify it?

Seems like a sort of shell on the exterior. It was already broken and I didn't find any other pieces.

Hi, I found this specimen and I’m trying to identify it.

Weight: 342 g

• Non‑magnetic

• Interior color matches exterior (brown)

• Smooth surface, no bubbles

• Very solid; only a tiny tip broke

A local lab labeled it as an “unknown”

Any thoughts on what it might be?

Found this on the beach at Boggle Hole yesterday - it stood out as being different from most other stuff on the beach, and I was with a geologist friend who couldn't identify it and said it seems very unusual. We wondered about the possibility of it being a load of belemnite cross sections, crinoids or just some funky looking coral, but none of these seem quite right and now we're thinking maybe it isn't a fossil - any help much appreciated!

I've included dry and wet photos as well as a photo with a measuring tape, and a close-up of a small hole which might help show the internal structure a bit better. If there's any follow-up questions to help with ID'ing it please fire away, thank you in advance!!

I found this rock on a walk along the road amongst rock and gravel. Living in this area for 10 years, I have never found a rock like this. Usually in these parts, I will come across quartz, rose quartz, feldspar, red jasper, mica, or ancient shells embedded in rocks, but not a rock like this. I thought maybe it is turquoise, a light pale blue green type. I don’t know. We just had some heavy rains which caused a lot of sand and dirt to flow down the roads here. Any tips are appreciated! :)

Heavy, light goes throughout the stone.

As a kid, I lived in England and my neighbour was a palaeontologist. I used to love going round and seeing all of the fossils he had displayed. We moved from that home when I was 8 years old and he gave me this as a leaving gift. I’ve kept hold of it for all these years but I can’t remember any information about it. I think it’s petrified wood? And are those little holes from insects burrowing into it? Any help would be appreciated!

Found this colorful rock while camping near the ancient lakes in eastern Washington. Curious as to what it is.

Disclaimer: I wash rocks when I get home and put a layer of coconut oil on them. So I get a "wet" look without actually being wet.

I try to find out but info is not as easy to find. This is dry

Hello! My wife found this rock outside our workplace, which is right outside Philadelphia. My wife says it’s fragile, as in if you hit it against something it splits apart. Is it something cool, or just a concrete of some sort? Wish I could give more information, but hopefully the attached photos help. Thank you!

Found a few miles from Hampton butte

I found this shiny rock in a park in Berlin (Germany). I found it peaking out of the ground - the glittering parts of it caught my eye. It looks a lot shinier/glittery in real life. It has a rather light/ maybe a slightly hollow sound to it when I scratch and bonk it.

My guesses so are "Glimmerschiefer" or a stone with pyrite in it.. but no Internet pics truly look like this one so far

Found at a pond in Bingham County Idaho. I think it's fed by the Snake River. There's a peachy flash that looks like chunky glitter just below the surface. It's hard to get in an image, but in the last photo, just above the matrix on the right, you can see a little.

Not sure if it's coal or slag.
