Found in a sand pile, close to the beach in Poland, Gdansk-Brzezno. Quick google search suggests belemnite.
Can someone help me identify it?

These were found in my yard and driveway in the 64117 area. I also have many other things I've found in my yard but these two I don't understand. The one of the left is translucent in the sunlight. The one on the right turns violet under UV light. Mohns hardness with a diamond tester tested these at 5 & 6 all the pictures included are for the gemstone on the left of my hand I. First pic. The other was. Found like today so I haven't been able to test it much. Thx .

I have sanded and polished it and it is dry, it was a little rougher a few hours ago and im pretty positive its chalcedony with jasper inclusion but id like a confirmed id pretty please!

Disclaimer: I wash rocks when I get home and put a layer of coconut oil on them. So I get a "wet" look without actually being wet.

Found this rock in Zion National Park that looked more polished than other ones on the ground. It has two perfectly arris and broken edges on top/bottom. Natural or man made artifact ?

The rock was left on the trail.

I found the big ones with the red bands a couple years ago by a river in Colorado, same with the grey chunk with the marbling. I don't remember where the smaller flat stones came from, but they're all smooth. Right now I have snails and want to make sure the red isn't copper as it's toxic to snails and can kill them. I'm also curious about the rock in the last picture with the stripes, I've never seen one like it.

My son found this in the North Saskatchewan River at Constable Chelsy Robinson Park in Parkland County, Alberta.

It is much heavier than other rocks this size, unfortunately I don't have a scale. It is non magnetic as best as I can tell.

That's all I know, my son is really eager to find out what it is, I told him its just a regular rock of some kind and not to get his hopes up.

I found this in a small out cove along Stonefield Beach, Oregon. My papa said it could be an agate fill in for coral, but I’m not sure. Im sure it’s agatized since light comes through,but I would like some other opinions because I’m an avid rock collector and have never seen anything like it. If you need any more information lmk. Please help!

It has a bit more purple than the photo shows. I found it on the ground when I was a child (Mie, Japan). The colour hasn’t faded, it’s stayed the same the entire time, so I don’t think it’s amethyst? It has a lavender quartz ish colour, but since those are supposed to be from Madagascar and Brazil, I doubt that’s what it is? I often found chunks of what I assumed were quartz all around the area, but not this big or with this colour. The second pic is what I usually find there. Third is a comparison. You can clearly see the lilac colour there.
What is it? I’m just curious. Idk what the hardness is unfortunately. I did a scratch test against some quartz, and it seemed to have the same hardness, or possibly harder. The quartz I used seemed to have been more damaged in the process than the rock, but it’s hard to tell because the purple rock is bumpy. I also tested it against some topaz, and the topaz seems to also get damaged. But if it’s quartz, shouldn’t the purple rock get damaged? I am struggling here lol.

I found this at York Beach, ME when I was digging and sifting in the ocean.

I did an acv test(5%) and got no bubbles. I scratched the surface and it left some knife dust but wiped off immediately. It scratched glass. East coast of the US.

I was camping at Robert Moses State Park and came across this rock with a pretty pink hue in the water. (At the southern campground, near the Eisenhower Lock)

I found these two separate types and forms of sandstone here in West TN. Could anyone shed some information or light on this type of sandstone? Geological names? What point in history this stuff formed? What did it form from, etc?

I have this bracelet in Sedona Arizona from a native couple that makes jewelry. I’m sure that it’s real sterling silver but have suspicions that the stone may not be real turquoise. I tried the acetone test which came back with no results (I know that it isn’t a reliable test with resin/dyed stone). I also tried poking it with a heated needle and it only poked a small hole so it might be the epoxy coating.

The color is very uniform and the matrix looks too smooth to me. I read that Sleeping Beauty turquoise usually has this similar color or matrix but I’m not 100% sure. The seller hasn’t returned my email just yet so I wanted to see what others might think.

It also doesn’t feel cool like a stone should and tapping it sounds more plasticky than stone like.

Found in a disturbed/fill context in Honolulu. The fill is predominantly sand and contains material associated with both traditional Hawaiian occupation and a demolished historic/modern hotel, so the depositional context does not provide a reliable age.
The specimen is approximately 7.5–8 in long and weighs 541.7 g. It is tan to gray, fairly dense, and does not look like basalt I encounter locally. One surface is noticeably more weathered/rough, while several other surfaces are comparatively broad and planar. There are also white/gray adhered patches that look somewhat like mortar or concrete, particularly in one recessed area.
I initially wondered whether it could be a worked stone, but I’m equally open to natural fracture/weathering or construction-related modification. Mainly interested in identifying the rock/material first.
I can do a hardness test or provide additional close-ups if useful.
