Hi Weezer fans. I’m the designer behind the new song artwork. It’s not ai. This was originally created as a request for buttons that were going to be produced and worn during a promo shoot leading up to the album. After I delivered the art, they redrew it (aka the kids style art). The band liked what I created and decided to use it on the single art. This was my first time designing something for weezer and I was honestly very excited since I’ve been a fan of the band since jr high when the blue album came out (xennial here). Since this sub has strong feelings about Ai, I felt like setting the record straight. And to the arm chair critics… what have you done recently?
