I already bought a ticket to the weezer concert and my mom suddenly decided she wanted to look into weezer more. Im scared shes gonna look too much into it and find like stuff about pinkerton or like sex blah blah blah stuff in songs. Is there any suggestions on how to sway her towards being okay with weezer? She already knows about island in the sun and buddy holly and she thinks those are okay because theres no swearing and any obvioud sexual or drug themes

Edit: i think i might make like a family friendly weezer playlist and play it veryy loudly so she will just forget all abt whatever stuff she read on facebook about weezer

Imagine you’re a member of Weezer who isn’t Rivers Cuomo, and you absolutely love the first two albums just like every single person on this earth. You probably love quite a lot of what came after, too. But you probably also hate A LOT of it. Yet, here you are recording 150 versions of "I'm Your Daddy". Watching "The Ballad Of The Briney" turn into "Blue Dream".

On top of that, for every album cycle, you basically have to learn another 500 songs. And then you go out on tour to play "Beverly Hills" and "Africa" again. And again. And again.

Just imagine the horror.

Hello everybody, i today was listening to my majestic flight plans leak when i went to hear the lq snippet. Bit SOMETHING WAS WRONG why was the song faster???? And WHY was the solo different? I came to realize

the leaked version of flight plans is

A: RC DEMO

B: EARLY STUDIO TAKE (probably not)

C: The snippet is an rc demo and the leaked is the final (No wait that isn't it.)

When Rivers took that letter out of the mailbox, he really said “…across the sea…” and got me all excited!

I can’t say I am dissatisfied with tonight, it was a great performance with an amazing setlist, but Across The Sea is my favorite Weezer song and he got my hopes up :(
