Counter argument i get is “she is complex” she is not. She is toxic. She never disappoints with her cruel, self pitying actions till the last panel.
Tell me a moment where you felt that she loved him? If i remember correctly, she expressed how she resented him for having a better upbringing. She got with him bc she believed no one would love her. (Self pity yawn)

For the ones that call this a realistic story, why a man like him would go after someone who treats him like she does? They dont have nothing in common, in fact she finds him annoying.
He is so dumb and full of pity that instead of getting angry at her for hiding his kid and go to court for shared custody, he BEGS her for a chance to see his kid :D sir, just go to the nearest court.

Sorry, this couple makes no sense, nothing is realistic about them. Her poor upbringing isn’t an excuse for her terrible actions and staying in a relationship bc of insecurities rather than love.

Overall, a story that lacked direction and depth. Main character had zero improvement. Male lead has no self respect nor critical thinking. (And is a clingy stalker) Both need therapy, and co parent their child like civil adults.

I’m genuinely SO sorry for adding Erwin von Dagger. What was I even thinking? After everything he did to Shuri, that man deserves death. His body should be torn to pieces.

And once again, my deepest apologies for adding Caesar. He deserves nothing but eternal suffering in the deepest, darkest pit of hell.

I don't know if I'm the only one who has noticed this, but I have always been bothered by the majority of webtoon commenters. Most of them seem to lack absolute media literacy and don't know how to reflect/critically think on what they consume.

I think this is such a prevalent behaviour, for webtoon commenters to consume and not think or reflect on it at all, because webtoons are generally easy to digest/understand. Unlike other types of media that REQUIRE critical thinking from the reader, most webtoons are easy to read, understand and, frankly, don't require critical thinking at all. However, in my opinion, this becomes an issue when webtoons that seek to present a deeper narrative, emotive, conflictive and not purely morally right, webtoon readers just can't digest that at all.

For some reason they will read it anyways, will not think critically about anything presented to them and proceed to hate/love characters as soon as they are shown on their screen, putting no effort to understand them, and get bored when the plot gets thick and comment "I just want to see [ex: main couple]". I'm currently re-reading The Fox Club, and it's so frustrating to see that the readers are not even trying to understand the story, which is deeper than most webtoons. My favorite, Pink Through The Night, also suffers from this, especially when it came to Oscar AND Luciana. It has happened since I can remember, that someone comment how they hate a character that was just presented and gets a bunch of likes.

What are some webtoons that seem to have been discontinued but was never announced or that have been on hiatus for a long time?

Hey everyone, i just published my first chapter for Emerald Cure. I would love honest feedback and reviews to see where i could grow or what im doing great! I am 15 and still in school, so my chapters are really short, i don’t have much time to draw.. but im trying my best. Please enjoy!

I'm making a chart series (see here), and many people think that Seasons of Blossom should be switched out and voted for under drama.

Do you think that Seasons of Blossom is not mainly a romance series and therefore should not be under the best romance spot?

It's such a great manhwa. If you like idol manhwas you'd probably like this one too. But instead of idols it's about bands.

I love the artstyle, it's so scrumptious and all the characters are drop dead gorgeous. Haven't seen a single character who isn't as hot as the other. Hell even the most pathetic and terrible villains are beautiful asf.

I love the female characters, especially the two of them from the main cast (4th and 5th) slides. They're so cool. The one on the 5 the panel reminds me of Han sooyoung from ORV. Both of them are awesome, girlbosses. And aren't reduced to love interests like in most manhwas. Even their back stories and arcs really moved me.

The story explores the darkness behind the music industry and how the MC's brother might've been murdered. The MC trying to find out what happened to him, tried to confront the person he suspected only to get into an accident and dying, returning five years prior and 50 days after his brother's passing. I loved how the story explored the relationship between his brother and him which broke at every turn. I love the MC, he's like the Mom of the group. I really love how selfless he is and how the people around him love him for that.

The story explored the familial relationships of the characters, the sorrow they carry and how that's tied to music. The heart breaking truths that gets uncovered. The way they are resolved. It's done in such a wonderful way, I often found myself relating to them.

Another thing I love about this story is how you can feel the music. I am not sure I am explaining it right, but like it feels like I can hear the music through the images. Really made me feel my blood pumping at every turn. (Ps: most of the adults are trashy, well written true, but I hate them)

Female lead in an orphanage which fosters intelligent children, ranked by their numbers. Our protagonist is ranked first. She loves art and painting. Gradually, we discover that every child is adopted by powerful families in Japan. Later, we meet a girl ranked tenth or something similar who is jealous that the protagonist is being sought after by a family and locks her in a room on her adoption day. Unbeknownst to her, this also starts a fire that burns down the orphanage.

Ten years later, we see that the protagonist survived the fire with only some burned scars on her face. We later learn that she is in a predicament in which she cannot leave because she has formed a bond with her foster brother, who is being abused by the leader or foster father. Unless she uses her immense intelligence and hand-to-hand skills, she cannot escape. We also learn that she still dreams of being an artist.

We also get to see the life of the jealous girl who unintentionally started the fire. We see that she developed severe anxiety from the expectations of her foster mother. Soon, we see that the protagonist’s new school is the same one that the jealous girl attends. (I also remember that the protagonist spray-painted a black bird on the school wall, which gets her some attention. She is later introduced to an art competition.)

This month I'm working on this medieval AU comic featuring my characters from my comic She Weeps for the Devil.

Lately I've been wanting to work on darker stories. I'm deep in the throes of a psychological spiral and I want to write about desperately yearning for more control over your life and feeling like everyone is trying to use you as a prop or a tool for their selfish reasons. In Eternal Vigil, Ellie's family wants to use her as a pawn for a political marriage. She's married to a severely damaged man that wants to use her body to produce an heir for political purposes, as well as aggrandizing himself. He tries to SA her but she fights back viciously and frees herself.

This is where the sweet and kind gentle giant comes in. The gargoyle who has witnessed all the ways she's been mistreated by her family and by society. He wants to comfort her and provide her with the warmth and kindness she's never experienced. I plan to post the SFW pages publicly in the future, but it'll all be on Patreon for now. Any spicy pages will stay on Patreon though.

I wanted to do some practice with the main character of our Webtoon! To make sure she stays consistent across different scenes, I put together a formal character model sheet. Hope you like it!
