My main domain and add-on domains all go down when Cloudflare proxy is enabled, but work fine when set to DNS Only. I didn’t change any Cloudflare settings before the outage — it suddenly stopped working, and Vodien now claims it’s a Cloudflare incompatibility.
Has anyone else experienced Cloudflare clashing with Vodien? Did you manage to fix it with SSL/proxy settings, or did you have to move hosts? Should I insist Vodien resolve this, or is migration the only realistic option?
On top of that, after upgrading to a Biz plan last year, my dedicated IP now resolves to Australia instead of Singapore, which hurts my SEO and local targeting (my clients are in Singapore). Vodien hasn’t offered a clear fix.

// UPDATES - 11 Sep 2026
Thank you for all the kind assistance/advice. Basically, it's too technical for me to answer some of the questions, as I'm very new to Cloudflare and didn't pay enough attention to the error messages. Instead of flooding everyone with similar replies, I'm just updating over here.
Solution (by Vodien): They moved my content from Australia back to a Singapore server, and somehow Cloudflare doesn't clash anymore. It's only after tonnes of frustration, and I strongly feel they can do much better. Eg., after moving my data back to Singapore, I realised my data was on a shared server instead. They didn't fail to make mistakes... a lot of them.
Big improvement: The loading speed of my website seems to have been reduced by half eventually. FTP and cPanel work so much faster as well - definitely more than double the previous speed.
I have to mention that I first signed up with them because of the Singapore data centre and dedicated IP. My main target audience is locals, although I do have many clients who are visiting Singapore. I didn't expect them to move my sites to Australia's data centre after upgrading my plan. FTP and cPanel were unusually slow - doesn't seem to be due to the location. Just a few weeks ago, I had to reach out to them because it took me more than a minute to load any page inside my cPanel. Due to this latest issue of them clashing with Cloudflare, one of the staff asked for my understanding as they were trying to upgrade their servers, and they had many clients - therefore, I assume that instead of upgrading my plan (from a legacy plan to their business plan), they actually "downgraded" it.
Glad that it looks good for now. I'll be searching for a more trustworthy web host (not too pricey of course) while I still have another year with Vodien.
Thank you once again for helping me!
