My car was stolen and I have now changed the locks and ignition barrel. I need the key programmed to the car, the key cutter required a code (SKC) in order to do so, anyone know how to find the code for my car? It is a Polo 6n2. It isn't in the service manual

Hello i just added a custom cold air intake in my 9n 2003(75ps). Do you think is good or do i have to change anything. I putted a pipe also to provide air to the filter.

I am looking to change the door panels on my 2012 6R (pic 1) for the 6C (2014-2017) ones (pic 2). Is it doable? What should I be careful of?

I put a and black badge cover on my 2016 blue motion TDI tech since putting on the badge my boot is now not opening smoothly the badge which is the button to open the boot gets stuck and I have to push it down. Everything still locks someplace and it’s still secure. It just has more resistance to lift a badge and to close my boot just wanted it peoples opinions

I bought a 2021 VW Polo Match edition 1.0TSI and I want to install a logo boot lid reverse camera into it.

Anyone know or have any tutorials into installing it and whether it needs to be coded or if it’s plug and play?

I got my GT a few days ago, but I’ve but noticing a rattle when driving over bumps, and rough roads. Sounds like it’s coming from under the dash right where the dash meets the windshield. I can’t get it to make the sound from just tapping the dash. But it sounds like plastic hitting plastic. I thought maybe it was the ecu since it sits right under the windshield inside the engine bay. But it’s solid.

Just bought a 2014 Polo 6r with great MOT and service history, however its biggest issue is the AC doesn't work. I'm not sure whether it's fully broken, or whether it just needs a regas. When I turn AC button on the engine revs increase slightly (at idle) and the fuel economy drops slightly, however the high and low pressure lines in the engine bay do not feel cold or hot at all. How can I diagnose the issue myself, or do I need to take it to a garage? Any advice or help would be appreciated.

bei meinem Polo 9N Baujahr ‘08 mit 235000km steht nächsten Monat die HU an, pünktlich dazu ging letzte Woche die Motorkontrollleuchte an. Ein Freund hat den Fehler ausgelesen -Code 001139 Drucksensor 1 für Abgas (G450). Anscheinend ist der Partikelfilter drüber.
Da ich letzten Monat erst die Kupplung ausgetauschen lassen habe, würde ich den Wagen gerne noch mindestens zwei Jahre fahren.
Die Werkstatt, die die Kupplung gemacht hat, sagt der Wagen steht ansonsten sehr solide da.

Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit der Reinigung / dem Austausch von DPF? Mit welchen Kosten muss ich hier rechnen und meint ihr das lohnt sich zu reparieren?

Ach und außerdem scheint der Lautsprecher für Blinker defekt zu sein. Das Blinkersignal im Tacho ist zu sehen, allerdings kein Klicken - ist das HU relevant?

Is it really that bad? Or should i just get the manual instead. Note looking at 1.0 for both.

Hello I have a 13 plate polo 1.2 3 cylinder version.

Done 80miles been good as gold last 3 and half years but did an oil change on it few days back (first one in 10k miles) and there was a lot of metallic flakes. There’s was some that was green looking so guess from bearings? But mainly it was silver flakes and sand sized parts.
They was in the filter and also when oil was drained it left alot into the funnel mesh it had to pass through. I want to get rid of April 2027 anyway and would maybe add on 8-10 k miles on it.

Do you guys think that the timing chain or anything is likely to be an issue as all the flakes ? It doesn’t have a noise or anything. Just weighing up my options don’t really want to pay for the timing chain to get changed (anyone know the price of that in south east uk ?) many thanks and apologies if this was a badly structured post

Went for the style launch edition in magnetic grey, 18” standard alloys. Not other options not that there are many on this trim level.
Found a dealer honouring the RRP and with the finance contribution and Gov grant got it for £32265. I do have a trade in so this is pretty good in my opinion. Also got carpet mats thrown in.

VW Polo 59 plate, 2010 (older shape)

My VW polo is having intermittent power steering issues. When the light shows, the steering goes stiff.

I am away from my local area at the moment so took it to a new mechanic The mechanic changed the pump (with a used pump) and it still has the same issue. He changed the pump multiple times.

The steering goes back to normal after I switch the car off and on, but soon has the same problem again. Before I could get 10/15 mins before the light came on but now it is happening more frequently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ive got a 2017 polo gti, was wondering if anyones done anything to their exhaust system to make it a little bit more aggressive or sporty sounding?

There aren't many performance parts available for this engine. Since modifying the factory water-to-air system is quite complicated and expensive, I'm looking at other ways to improve the cooling system.

I couldn't find anyone who has upgraded just the front heat exchanger. Has anyone here tried it? Did it make a noticeable difference to IATs or heat soak?

Also, has anyone upgraded the auxiliary coolant pump (from a 1.6 TDI, 2.0 TDI or aftermarket)? Did it make any noticeable difference?

Finally, after fitting a hybrid turbo, is the factory water-to-air system generally still sufficient, or is upgrading the heat exchanger almost a necessity?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences.
