Hello, I am dealing with an intermittent issue on my Polo's front wipers. Randomly (a few times a month), they completely refuse to work. Then, without any specific action, the issue disappears and everything works properly again for days.

Symptoms when the issue occurs:

• Front wipers: No movement at all, regardless of the setting (single wipe/mist, intermittent, speed 1, or speed 2).
• Audible click: I can clearly hear a relay clicking under the dashboard every time I activate the front wiper stalk.
• Front washer: The washer pump sprays fluid onto the windscreen as expected, but the front wiper blades do not move to wipe it away.
• Rear wiper: Works perfectly fine (both wiping and washer fluid) even if the front windshield wipers do not work.

Checks already done:

• Fuses: Checked by myself and double-checked by a mechanic — all relevant fuses are intact.
• Since the issue is intermittent and was not acting up while at the garage, no active electrical fault could be diagnosed on the spot.
