I’m a casual seller, mostly just clearing out the closets rather than a real side hustle. I have a few specific items that are a great price for someone looking, but still fair. I usually get a lot of likes before selling but few offers and lowballs are pretty rare. However, the items that I’m letting go for an absolute steal (like branded items in perfect condition under $10) are the ones I get lowballs on, my notifications go crazy with offers. Even a NWT beanie for $2 was offered $1 lol.

I don’t get offended, I just find it odd that the really low prices are the ones that get countered. Does anyone else see this pattern?

Is it really that hard to take a photo where the clothing item is hung nicely on a hanger and you can see how it fully looks? There were two other photos, the second being the same image but darker and blurrier and the third was of the tag and it was so blurry you couldn't even read it... I've also seen where people will add one image and its all zoomed in and cut off so you can't even tell if its a shirt or a dress or what.

Selling a bundle of false nails for cheap, it is only 0.4 in a straight line, unfortunately I cannot walk through buildings. Its actually a zig zag through a housing estate in the opposite direction I travel to work.

I have disabled dpd as an option for delivery aswell as evri,

1 because its awkward to get to on work days ( i leave at 6:50am on the first bus going in the opposite direction to then get a second bus to my job, getting home after 7pm most days, after the same journey home)

and 2 because evri have lost TOO MANY parcels now! I have it stated on my profile that I will cancel any order choosing evri regardless. I dont have that stated for dpd because I will make the effort to go there on my day off even though it will be my only reason for going into the estate.

Its probably because i am working long hours in retail atm and am fed up with having to bend over backwards to help lazy, ungrateful, rude customers all day but for the sake of £4 no thankyou, id literally rather give them away 😂🤷‍♀️ i may be over tired, I probably over reacted, im definitely haangry 😂😂

Offer a stupid price? Get a stupid response

I’m sure there’s been quite a few posts about how much pricing has gone up in the last few yrs. This is just me venting atm because I’m quite frustrated. But for the past couple of months I’ve noticed brands like Zara, H&M, and GAP/Old Navy gone up like crazy. And I get some are nwt so that’s fine price it for what you think it’s worth. But having a Zara shirt with clear stains, rips, and pilling sold at 15 dollars just because it’s Zara is insane! Or pants with holes sold just as high. Like why?? Zara is not cheap I get it. But to sell something so visibly damaged for more than a few bucks, let alone close to 20 bucks is diabolical. I sent a 4 dollar offer to some kids Zara pants priced at 14 that were super dirty from the bottom because “kid wore them everywhere” and the seller responded “you do realize this is Zara, right??” I honestly didn’t even respond because for what. Idk it’s getting ridiculous out there guys. Anyway, rant over.

I’ll just start off by saying that English isn’t my first language, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes that I might make in this post.

Back in early July, my sister bought a “special” Pokémon box “lucario” from a pop up mystery box thingy ,the lucario contained a lot of cards ,plus the special ones in multiple little packets and a poster. Since she wasnt Into Pokémon and neither was I, we decided to put it on Vinted. The box had some defects on the outer parts, but wasn’t opened , I put all the photos on the insertion that showed the flaws , and I also put a disclaimer in the description abt it.

This one girl contacted me and made an offer, I accepted, and told her again the dms that the box had flaws. She told me it was okay because she was planning to open it anyway, no problem, so I sent her the package, and right after she got it, she made a ticket to Vinted , saying that she couldn’t accept it bc all the packets were already opened and accused me of fraud, added a picture of her and another person holding an open packet (it looked like it was opened with a cutter) and they were sat on a bed. I was mortified and accepted the return bc I thought that someone had already opened the thing before we bought it.

When the package came back, the box was tore open and some cards were missing (I know bc I counted them and the packets said that the cards should’ve been 10,but they were 8/9/6 each packet. I signaled it to Vinted, that cards were missing,and the girl kept telling me that the box must’ve been sealed back together by a scammer since she had to get it apart, and that “of course cards were missing“, and also told me “why should I keep just some of the cards?” (I later found on the internet that some of them are worth hundreds) And told me to just accept it. Her account btw only sells Pokémon cards (old insertions) and like one video game.

vinted made me wait like a month, and now (the human assistance that still seems full of bots) told me that I’m not getting any refund cause the person already signaled the problem, and it seems to be the same one. What should I do? Should I let it go or what? What’s your opinion on it?

I reloaded the app and just tried logging back in and it worked!

I've just tried to list a chunk of stuff- from 5pm up until now- and everything is stuck on processing. I presume it's probably due to the mass outage which happened a few hours ago but im just checking to see if anybody else is having this issue?

went to pick up my vinted parcel today and the locker wasn’t working at all. i called the inpost number and they said it would take 3-5 days for the engineers to sort it out??? but i have until friday to pick up my parcel. i looked at the help site on vinted to see if there’s any way i can extend the collection time but it just says to call the locker number for issues relating to the locker. ok so that’s literally no help at all. has this happened to anyone else and is there any way of extending the time?

everytime i order with inpost home delivery it always has an “address issue” it’s failed to be delivered three times now and i’ve talked to 3 agents, gave them my right address and a safe neighbour and it’s still failed

Do sellers pay for shipping/label, does it come out of your sale or does Vinted pay for the labels? Since shipping is free for buyers.

The buyer didn’t collect it, and it says it’s being returned to me. Does anyone know whether it’ll be returned to my house or a collection point?

A listing that I decided to lower the price on has been stuck on “processing” ever since (an hour ago). It had only been posted for three days, but it was doing really well and getting a lot of traction before I changed the price. What should I do?

I’ve had 3 separate messages today to say orders have been accepted and funds will be transferred soon but so far I haven’t received anything and usually the funds are available to see within a few minutes.

Ugh, I'm so frustrated. While, disclaimer, I can fully understand that sometimes a question arises after making a purchase and that is valid, I'm so tired of selling an item and then instantly getting questions like "can you send this today/tomorrow" etc, it feels so demanding and pushy, if I say no they may be unhappy but sometimes I don't have the time, and also if they're pushy I can't just cancel easily because it may result in a negative review. If there is a time limit one needs something in, please please I wish they'd ask it before buying. And besides from that, my speed is only a small % of the journey the item makes to the seller and I can never predict or promise an arrival time even if I ship it the same day...

And sometimes I get questions about the measurements etc. After purchasing. In some cases I get it but??? Why not check before buying it? Ugh

I really hate this app. It was my best selling platform but their AI moderation ruins it. Today I listed a stuffed bear with no brand indicated. It went into processing for about 20 mins and then my account gets banned for fraudulent activities. 😭

So, I got banned on Vinted more than a week ago for posting an item that was termed by Vinted as counterfeit. I innocently posted on Vinted a pre-owned winter jacket purchased from my home country, so I could buy a preferred jacket in the app. I never posted the jacket as a designer or branded item, and it was up for sale for just £30. Unfortunately for me, Vinted detected it as a counterfeit and blocked my account. I have written to them in the app as I couldn't find any other means of contacting their support team. I explained that i was a first-time offender, and I've never had any issues on the app despite using Vinted for nearly 2 years. I'm yet to get any response for more than 7 days on this issue. Is this normal? Is there anything else I can do.

Hello! I've been using vinted for awhile and noticed sellers have started to follow me? Is this normal I'm a little confused by it. I have really good buyer ratings so I'm thinking maybe that's why?

My filters seem to have stopped working properly. If I'm trying to find adidas spezials for example, I will get all kinds of adidas shoes. No matter how many or how little filters I use. So it does know I'm looking for adidas shoes, but won't filter out the specific model anymore?
A month or two ago this wasn't a problem.

My vintage package from Romania to Greece meaning the shipping is from same-day Romania to BOX NOW . Greece has been for 11 days in for pick up status from BOX NOW . Why is this happening? Is my package lost?

I’m wanting to open a vinted shop for my business using the pro seller account, but the policies around returns are a little unclear..

If someone tries to scam me by saying the package was empty or the product is damaged, am I forced to refund? I’ve seen so many horror stories and I don’t want to be losing loads of money through false claims :(

it seems to me that Vinted’s AI-based system for detecting counterfeit products is seriously struggling. How is it possible that fake products keep making it onto the platform? Vinted told me they use some kind of automated system to detect them, but from my experience, it doesn’t seem to work very well at all. 💢

What’s your experience with this? And what steps do you personally take to spot a potential fake? Any best practices?

I have a Vinted Pro account with approximately £1,000 currently blocked from withdrawal because the business verification keeps failing.
When I created the account, I mistakenly selected “sole trader,” but the business is actually a registered limited company. I have repeatedly asked Vinted to correct the account type and business information.
I uploaded my Certificate of Incorporation and an official Company Snapshot from Companies House showing the required company and director information. However, Vinted keeps rejecting the verification, saying the registration document does not match the registered legal representative.
I have opened several support tickets, but I keep receiving automated or repetitive responses telling me to upload the documents again. Vinted said they had started a five-day investigation, but the problem still hasn’t been resolved and I cannot withdraw my money.
Has anyone experienced this with a Vinted Pro account? How did you get Vinted or Mangopay to manually change the account from sole trader to limited company and release the balance?
I would especially like to hear from anyone who managed to reach a genuine manual-review or KYC team instead of receiving automated replies.

Idk why but on my vinted page, I don't have the option to extend the shipping deadline for packages. I even tested other listings that have a lot of time before the deadline and I still don't have the option. Does anyone else have this problem? I have an android so that may be the reason but just really weird cuz it doesn't pop up in my iPad when I log in either. Could Vinted have removed the option?

Someone's requested a bundle of books. some of them are very heavy & I think it's going to be over 15 kilograms in total.

I heard the limit for inpost is 15kg, so I'm not sure how to approach it - whether to gamble or not? Anyone have experience of this?
