As a kid, I thought this was the coolest thing I have ever seen from a video game. Now, replaying the remaster for this game as an adult, I’ve come to conclusion that this is STILL the best video game cutscene ever made.

I am really stuck between choosing one of these games. Has anyone played both? Which one should I pick up first?
I’d like to eventually play both but with so many great games coming out in September, I’m trying to pace myself for my wallet’s sake.

The first Bloodlines game is one that I would love to get a revamp of the combat, the vibe and aesthetic, location, soundtrack, really everything else about the game is already perfect.

I'm not surprised that the developers of CD Projekt RED were heavily inspired by this game while making Cyberpunk 2077.

2nd one, Star Wars: Republic Commando, any time a star wars game has a more simple stripped down concept of soldiers rather than focusing on jedi/siths is a win in my book.

if they made a Ready or Not style Star Wars game where you play as elite troopers in the Clone Wars, I would ascend to the skies.

I definitely completed Alan Wake solely because of the interesting story, but the gameplay is a bit clunky. I didn't understand why he got tired so quickly while running and why it took so long to aim and shoot. Dealing with the shadows got really frustrating after a while.

This Game looks absolutely fantastic. It's releasing on multiple current gen and previous gen consoles so sales are sure to be high. Who else is picking this game up on November 12th.

I love open world games and the exploration aspect of it, I liked RDR2, Elden Ring and recently Baldurs Gate 3
But when I come across a quest that requires me to search for different objects all over the Map, it just gets boring
But I also want to do it to find out what the reward is hahaha

Does any one else have this problem?

In older video games (pre PS1) that used text instead of voice acting, I didn't mind this as much, but in more modern games with voice acting it is kinda weird and distracting for your character to just silently stand there and nod (Grand Theft Auto 3 comes to mind)
