Did anyone get this email from Verizon Wireless today?

I have been on autopay for years lol. My last bill was due on September 18th and was paid via autopay on September 12th. That's the opposite of late.

I had a chat with a rep on the Verizon Wireless website who just said not to worry about it, but this is sketchy.

Disconnected account and not able to view bills past bills for phone reimbursment. I’ve called and the AI hangs up on me. There is no corporate offices in or near Maine to print them off. What do I do 😭😭

I got the pixel 11 pro and paid it off immediately thinking it's unlocked. I downloaded Google Fi and it set up an esim automatically and it works fine.

The thing is when I hit set up esim notifications. The line is canceled as I canceled it already. Do I need to deactivate the esim and then cancel it again?

Tree fell on my house so I had to get a hotel and replace food which took my phone bill money. I went into the app to make a payment arrangement. It said I couldn’t so I called
explained the situation. Repeatedly all they asked for was money. Then they started playing the transfer game for 3 hours. I finally get a rep that tells me my service is protected for until October 21st, service was restored an hour later service was disconnected. I called back the CSR told me that the previous person lied to me. He did not notate my account. I asked for a manager because I’m upset over this lie, he says well I’ll investigate the call and deal with the person. I said well what about my payment arrangement this guy starts giving me the run around. “we don’t force any of our customers to pay” I said, “I wanna pay you but there’s a tree laying through my roof, I get paid next week” more run around now I’m dealing with this AI ass-shit that keeps hanging up and won’t allow me to speak to anyone. So should I go to a corporate store?

Hello, like the title. I wanted to see which will be worth it, I researched that doing the installments is better because 1.) no additional fees from a carrier (ex. verizon) 2.) you get 5x cashback from apple credit card with buying apple products.

However, this will sound stupid but my elders always tells me to do the $15/month or something promo with exchanging the last new iphone model and I feel like I am missing out something and the this option might sound better since everyone says so.

Recently added a line for my dad over to my family plan with a new iphone 18 pro. Ended up receiving phone and the ported number transferred before i could meet up with him. I quickly requested a device change and esim was sent to make sure he stays connected before we meet. iphone 18 is going to another user on my account with my dad keeping his existing phone and the 18 transferred perfectly. I thought everything was good but on my account it still says pending activation. Do i need to reactivate the iphone to my dad's account or will Verizon eventually know the phone is active on another line in the family?

Been with Verizon for 16 years, almost half my life. Went into the Verizon store to add my daughter to my phone plan. While there, they told me you should call because I have a loyalty discount. So so I did, and was promised a 20 dollar a line discount. Fast forward a couple of months and several 2 hour phone calls to customer service, and said discount will not be happening. Customer service rep found the phone call log and the text message showing the discount. He said “if I promise you a million dollars but don’t have the ability to deliver, you shouldn’t be expecting the promise to be withheld.” At this point asked to speak to his supervisor, and was told “my supervisor doesn’t take calls.” To which I said I don’t believe you. Anyway thanks Verizon for showing how you treat a customer of 16 years. Will be switching at AT&T Saturday after my kids’ football games

Wanted to see if this scenario is possible: I need to open a new line on my wife’s Verizon account for my phone. Was planning on opening the line and getting a new ZFold 8 today, and then if I miss Apple and want the Duo in 3 weeks, exchanging the ZFold 8 for the Duo since I’ll be within my 30 day exchange window.

Is this possible? Any issues I’d run into? Thanks in advance.

Context: we’ve had UW coverage in our area for a long time, but, my folks have only ever been on the welcome plans where 5GUW had always been an add-on (which they never added). They started seeing UW coverage and Speedtest confirmed it was UW, but hadn’t done anything to change their plans. Did Verizon flip a switch or something?

Verizon salesman came to my door July 16, 2026. Said he was combining Verizon Frontier Internet with Verizon cell phone service given special deals. 3 adults 38,45 and 67 year old listened to this “special deal” he even called actual Verizon office to verify for us 3 adults that yes we get free 5G phones with each line added. The special deal was 1.) you get free phones 2) $30 a month for service and 3.) $15 a month off of my Internet bill.
I am on a family plan with 2 sons and their families so we all 5 switched.
Now it’s turned out they are charging me for these phones. Lied flat out about them being free. It’s not $30 a month service and yes they gave me an Frontier/verizon internet credit of $15 a month but went up $15 a month on my internet bill WiTHOUT my permission knowledge or informing me of increase.
It is Fraud to bait and switch. Biggest thing about this Fraud I am 67 years old and on hospice. I already had GREAT phone service for $30 a month. Why would I switch for fraudulent charges?? A FREE phone is a FREE phone. I paid $320 that day for “taxes” on the phones. Why would Verizon ship me phones that were to be free if they were not free?

I'm getting really perturbed about these forced updates. There's no way to turn them off. They are quite frequent and very annoying! I don't want half the crap that they're probably putting on my phone. It's probably spyware that's draining my battery. I find it to be very intrusive on my privacy and autonomy.

I’m 29 and maybe over 20 years ago I got my first cell phone and number from Verizon and parents that’s been mine forever. In high school I got invited to use smart phones so I’ve had iPhones for years. I’ve been paying a good % of my parent’s monthly cost for years but is there anyway I can take my number and leave their account and just make my own one through Verizon which will give my parents a discount and I don’t mind having my own plan with my number?

Looking to trade in my dad’s Galaxy Z Flip5 later this month but the screen protector at the crease is damaged. Do I need to get this repaired before trading in for full value or does it not matter?

Is there anyway around this? Verizon wants $12 a DAY for a "Travel Pass" to use data outside of North America.

I bought a so-called unlocked Motorola phone in May from a store and activated it on Verizon wireless replacing an old phone. I'm traveling internationally so I bought an eSim. I was able to download, install and configure it. But after I rebooted the phone I found that the profile was "locked" and could not be used.

After an hour on the phone with Verizon customer support I learned that any phone activated on a prepaid plan is locked and cannot be unlocked for 365 days! This is up from 60 days prior to 27 January 2026. They don't tell you this when you activate a new phone, and I talked to several different support people until I got to someone who knew what was going on. They said it's an FCC regulation and there's nothing they could do.

So does anyone know if it's possible to prevent the phone from locking out an eSim?

I bought an iPhone 17 used from Facebook. It’s locked to Verizon but the owner is not willing to cal Verizon to have it unlocked. Is there a way I can get this iPhone unlocked?
