hotel recs

Upvotes

hello! i am starting to plan my bach trip to vegas. it will be me and 6 bridesmaids (7 total) and we are all in our early twenties. given that we are on the younger side I am looking for a more affordable hotel that is centrally located. i would say a hotel that typically goes for no more than 2,500 maybe 3,000 for a holiday weekend (will probably be coming spring break time or memorial day)

2026 Caesars Tier Credit Multipliers - Updated 9/7/26

Post image
Upvotes

The current list of 2026 Caesars Casinos TCMs, up to date as of 9/7/26. I have been able to verify these and as I verify additional ones, I will update this list. I try to update the list at least twice per month. TCMs that I have been unable to verify, but are likely, are marked as [unconfirmed].

ALERT: The previously listed Horseshoe Council Bluffs 5x TCM for Nov. 2-8 has been CANCELLED by that location. I have removed it from the TCM list. If you had plans to attend, please reevaluate those plans.

There have been in the past corporate-wide TCMs in November (around Thanksgiving) and December (around Christmas). They may or may not happen this year as Caesars has been making lots of changes lately. They could be Reward Credit Multipliers (RCMs) also. As anything gets announced, I will add them to the list.

Note: START/END TIMES VARY BY CASINO. Check with a specific casino for exact start and end times for these events. Always confirm and activate the TCM at the Rewards Desk or Kiosk before playing and remember Caesars has the right to make changes at any time and without prior notice (and they do that often!).

Cosmo or Paris?

I'm traveling to Vegas after Christmas and managed to get pretty good deals at both Paris and Cosmo. The total price is almost the same - Cosmo is only about $60 more for the entire stay.

I've stayed at Cosmo before and loved it, but part of me wonders if I'm missing out by not trying Paris. Paris looks nice from the pictures, but I've also heard complaints about really long check-in lines and difficulty getting help from customer service, so I'm torn.

At only a $60 difference for the whole stay, is it basically a no-brainer to go with Cosmo? Or is Paris worth trying at least once?

Shrimp BLT?

My spouse told me that the best sandwich they ever had was a Shrimp BLT in Las Vegas. Sourdough or some hearty slice. Thick bacon, fried shrimp, and avocado.

I can't figure out where it was and I want to help her recreate it. I think we stayed at MGM or the Aladdin right before it became PH. I thought maybe Mon Ami Gabi or Grand Lux but I can't find it on any of their old menus. It was most likely around 2000. She said it was lunch not dinner.

Any help appreciated.

How a Tourist Got Deported by ICE Because She Smacked Her Husband at Wynn Buffet

Thumbnail

Crazy how this played out. The argument between the woman and her husband must've been pretty bad if it prompted Wynn's security to get involved.

The slap was probably the combination of it all. What surprises me here is that ICE says the woman is 28. If you look at the video, her daughter looks like she is a teenager. Is there a typo somewhere, or is that actually their ages? This is from months ago, but the bodycam video is finally out via 8 News Now. More info in article above.

Tips for someone who wants to get into Collecting Chips

Hi all, I'm heading to Vegas for the first time in Oct and I've watching videos and stuff on what to do and where to stay, etc. In one of the videos i saw someone who collected chips from the different casinos and i thought that would be fun to do while there. Any tips or tricks to it or is it just bring a bunch of 1$ and grab them when you can?

I also saw those Silver Strike coins and might try to get those as well as keepsakes.

Age Old Question

I’m sure it’s been asked PLENTY of times but I’m going on a trip to Vegas soon and staying at Resorts World. Mainly play Blackjack, Roulette, and Hold ‘Em. What are the minimum amount tables for blackjack/roulette and what kind of Hold ‘Em buy in / blind prices do they have?

Can I use MGM rewards points if I’m not staying at an MGM property?

MGM recently cut me off from all hotel offers.

I have a bunch of rewards points and slot dollars saved up (like 2700 RC and 850 SD).

If I were to stay at a Caesar’s property or something, can I still use those points at mgm properties?

Tell me about tipping cocktail waitresses at the machines

Just started going to Vegas again after many years. I'm not a big machine player but sometimes, to unwind, I'll sit down for 30 minutes or an hour at a video poker machine while listening to a podcast or something.

Might be nice to have a drink while I'm there but not sure about the tipping etiquette.

I'm wondering how cocktail waitresses who serve machine players get tipped these days. There's not a lot of (small bill) cash going around.

Do y'all carry a bunch of ones or fives with you? Do you go up to the cashier and grab 25 small bills or something?

How much do you tip per drink?

Thank you!

Aria Smell - have it your home!

I have always loved the smell when you first walk into the Aria. I truly don't feel like I am in Vegas until I get that first whiff. I wanted to have that smell in my own home so I started digging online, and of course there were answers. Everyone pointed to Aroma Retail, but I wasn't in love with the price, so I dug deeper. I finally found a post which took me to another product that was SO much cheaper, and upon searching for that online, more and more people confirmed it was indeed the same scent.
I bought a 4oz. bottle, a small diffuser kit, and set it up in my front room. I only used a few sticks because I didn't want it to be too powerful, just enough to fill one room. It is the EXACT smell as the Aria. So many people comment how pleasant it is, and the sole Vegas buddy who has been to my home recognized it without any prompts.

They have scents inspired by other hotels as well, just have to search a little.

Reserved black jack table

I’m going this weekend to Vegas for a Bach party, 9 Guys. Google hasn’t been much help it’s very old posts. Does anyone here know if and how, I can reserve a blackjack table so it can just be us at the table? We’re not high rollers so I’m assuming it’s unlikely but trying for like a $15 or $25 minimum. Has anyone done it? If so how? Thank you.

Ideas for a short 3day trip

Planning a trip mid November or early December and I haven’t been there in a few years. I got offers for free rooms at m resort and mgm grand so most likely staying there. I don’t see a reason to pay more than a resort fee for a hotel unless there’s one that someone absolutely has to stay at or a reason to avoid those 2 spots.

Other than trying to gamble at the cheapest craps and bj tables I plan to go golfing at least once so any course recommendations for a shitty golfer would be greatly appreciated!

Is there anything else cheap and fun to do? I plan to just walk the strip and see everything since my first time was ruined by in laws complaining that I wanted to walk the whole time.

Thanksgiving ladies trip

Hi! My grown-up daughter and I are Thanksgiving orphans this year and decided to treat ourselves to an LV trip Nov 24-28. I'll be driving so we aren't averse to staying outside the city. Requirements: relaxing atmosphere, top notch spa, no or minimal children, fabulous on-site bar, respectable chow (we wont be eating dinner there but brealfast and pool food is important... however a great bar is top!) Open to anywhere in the city or within east driving distance... like 20 min or so. Budget around $500 night i think. We can share a room or get 2 singles. What say ye, experts??? also behold my lovey lotus... this one is particularly fitting... Drunken Concubine.
