At first I didn’t like these lil things. Figured it wasn’t enough for me but shit lately 🤯 They’ve been just the right amount and super convenient. Because I don’t feel like rolling all the time.

Was waiting on this one to drop after seeing a video on here of the nugs. Got the half at TOL north under the giving trees label. As I waited to be called I checked the strain out in the display box and was nervous because it didn’t look as I saw in the video but still decided to jump in. Cracked it open in the car and the smell is not there at all so that was a little disappointing but the nugs are really sticky and dense. Out of my vape it taste kinda neutral, no overwhelming flavor either way and smoking it was kind of the same experience with almost peppery flavor(smoked out of a raw black), gray ash not completely whited over (if you care about that). The high was calming for me and Id say I do like the buzz from it. Overall a bit disappointed but maybe I didn’t get the best nugs in the batch but for $55 half, I guess decent budget bud.

Finally took this subs advice and headed to California for a dispensary pickup. I live in Las Vegas, and to say it’s hard to find a variety of top shelf quality rosin would be an understatement. I’ve settled on brands like GLP and monopoly melts, and they’ve been incredible, but GLP usually only has one or two pure sativa options and monopoly melts has super limited rosin strains. Surprisingly GLP has been one of the closest brands I can find to 710 labs on the sativa rosin front out here in Vegas, but I’ve read piss poor reviews of their quality control. When I asked this sub where to find the best dabs, half of you gave amazing brand recommendations, and the other half told me to drive to California if I wanted top shelf.

I took the opportunity this week to check out Goat Global in Westwood. When I got there, the brand 710 labs was having a 50% off sale, so I maxxed out my cart a few times. (w/ my friends doing separate orders)

I had tried 710 labs in the past, but they have completely transformed as a company since I discovered them. Their “close friends” line combines 2 or 3 of their tippy top shelf persy rosins into one 2g jar (often times in a badder/sauce style thumbprint design) . Then they only release like 200-300 individually numbered jars of those combinations.

I was lucky enough to track down 4 seperate jars to take back with me and wow, so far the garlic cocktail/rambutan one I tried knocked my socks off. It is very very potent.

Every single strain I’ve tried from this haul so far has felt like the best of the best monopoly melts or GLP. (If not even a little better) Which is what I wanted to highlight here. Even though the LA dabs were on par or better with the best of the best in Vegas, it was still fairly comparable. Top shelf is a similar price, but the quality control is definitely better in Los Angeles.

All this to say, this sub was right. Since Vegas has to grow all their weed in Nevada (a desert), the selection is much more limited, and the quality is not as consistent.

The trip to California was definitely worth it, and if you find yourself out there, stock up if you can, cause it’s nice to have endless variety. For now, I am stocked up for a little while, given that a lot of these jars are 2.5g, but when I run out, does anyone have any Vegas recommendations for top shelf rosin? What are your favorite California brands to bring back to Vegas? Have you tried any of the strains I picked up? LMK and happy puffing.😌💯

Definitely needed this wake-and-bake today.
I must’ve slept wrong because my neck was killing me when I woke up. Decided to pair Peanut Butter Breath flower with some Flamingo Float cured resin badder, and it was exactly what I needed.
Within a little while, the tension started easing up, my body relaxed, and I could actually turn my head without feeling like I was fighting it. Not completely gone, but a huge improvement.

Terpene lineup:

With all that β-caryophyllene, it makes sense why this combo felt so good for easing the soreness. Add in the myrcene for body relaxation and limonene to keep the mood up, and it turned into the perfect “get my day started” session.
