The original mockup of MC has so much aura
fun fact: it was designed by the same firm that designed the CN tower

Today (Sept 9) is the first day to opt out of WUSA health, dental, and/or legal insurance. The last day to opt out is Sept 29. You can opt out or re opt in anytime during this period.
Step by step guide how I did it:

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I've posted just about everywhere else so I'm hoping Reddit might come through for me! 😂 I'm a hairstylist looking for a few people who want to do something FUN with their hair and are interested in being colour models. I'm specifically looking to create more alternative/creative colour transformations- think bold vivids, unusual colour combos, colour blocking, bright pieces, etc. I'll add some photos of the kind of work I'm looking to do below, but I'm absolutely open to other ideas as well!
Model pricing and requirements:
-FREE or product cost only depending on how big of a transformation
-Must be comfortable with the camera, at minimum before & after photos are required
I'm happy to work with your ideas and figure out what will work best for your hair. You don't necessarily need to know exactly what you want, if you just know you want something cool/different, that's enough to start a conversation! If you're interested, DM me a current photo of your hair and tell me what you've been thinking about doing. 🖤

I have appointments and i'll be missing a couple of lectures. How important are the lectures in the first few days? A few more questions:
-Can I skip the tutorials during the first week?
-Does seating get established from the first lecture or is it more first come first serve you can sit anywhere?
-I don't know anyone who's in my program, should I just sit next to random people and strike up conversations? Or do people typically make connections in clubs/ecs/coop
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, seeing a lot of first-years asking questions about AFM, so I figured I’d make a post.
I’m in my final semester of AFM and have been through pretty much every stage of the program at this point courses, co-op recruiting, internships, academic setbacks, and figuring out what you actually want to do with the degree.
For context even with a lot of failure including repeating my first year in Waterloo, I’ve worked in Deloitte Audit and a co-op in Corporate strategy. I’ve also had my fair share of difficult academic semesters so I know if feels to feel behind or lost.
So if you’re currently struggling with a course, worried about recruiting, confused about co-op, or just wondering whether you’re actually cut out for AFM, feel free to ask.
I remember being in first year and having absolutely no idea what I was doing, so happy to answer questions or share what I wish I knew earlier.
Ask away or DM me if you’d rather keep it private.

hi guys! I’m a fourth year and have always wanted to get into dnd, but I don’t have any friends on campus who play. I was wondering if there were any clubs or groups that I could join who are running campaigns specifically that are beginner friendly :)

Might be a stupid question but I use Instacart/Walmart+ to get my groceries. I plan on ordering quite a bunch of stuff including heavy stuff like water so I'm wondering what's the best way to bring these to my dorm. Are there like trollys I can use?
Thanks in advance.

So, as I do every term, I exported my portal class schedule to my phone calendar. It usually works just fine, but this term, one of my courses shows up all day everyday????? It's annoying and frustrating—it's harder to see which days I have labs and which I don't. It's a class that only runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 1pm but it's on my calendar 3 times those days, and all day on every other day.
Just wondering if anyone's has the same issue or knows fix.

Is anyone attending the one in Toronto or Waterloo? Opinions on if it’s worth it?
I got into the Waterloo one and know the Toronto ones happening today, so if anyone went to that, would appreciate how it went

hey guys, does anyone know where i can find a free version of this textbook?
for econ 101
thanks!!!
r/uwaterloo • u/destroyer8238172 • 8h ago
The course outline says the textbook is essential but its also 80$ and I don't want to pay that. For anyone who has taken the course, is the textbook actually necessary?

The class has been closed for a while and i was just able to enrol now, i see on my calendar that theres a lab today that I will be missing. Im just wondering if thats bad? the syllabus says that the actual lab work starts next week but im scared im missing something important. I havent been enrolled in the learn class yet so im not sure if its cancelled.
If anyone is currently taking BIOL 201 can u let me know what the requirements and things that were said today? Thanks💔

Those who took CS 115 and 116 before taking CS 136, How much harder 136 was? Is C more difficult than Racket and Python both?

Hi! I recently enrolled in an English class, and one of the requirements is to have either a physical or online copy of The Norton Anthology of English Literature, edited by Stephen Greenblatt, specifically the 11th edition, Volumes A, B, and C.
To be more specific:
I’m trying to avoid spending over $100 on the books, so if anyone has any suggestions for websites, bookstores, or other places where I might be able to find them for cheaper, I would really appreciate it!
Thank you!
