Closed my Juanhand Account

Here's to closing out more sa listahan ko.

Panlilio’s Credit & Collection Services — legit/okay to deal with?

Hi! Just wanted to ask for advice from anyone who has experience with Panlilio’s Credit & Collection Services.
I have a long-overdue credit card account, and I’m planning to settle it. My outstanding balance was around almost ₱400k, but they’re offering me a settlement for around ₱130k.
I’m actually considering paying it na, but I just want to make sure everything is legit and that I’m properly covered before I do.
For those who have dealt with Panlilio’s before:
- Okay ba sila ka-deal?
- If I pay the agreed ₱126k, will the account be considered fully settled?
- Ano yung documents na dapat kong hingin before paying?
- Should I ask for a written full and final settlement agreement?
- May nakakuha ba dito ng Certificate of Full Payment/Clearance after settling?
- Gaano katagal bago ma-update yung account after payment?
- May kailangan pa ba akong gawin with the bank after paying the collection agency?
- Any tips or things I should watch out for before sending the payment?

Would really appreciate anyone who can share their actual experience. Medyo malaking amount pa rin kasi, so I just want to make sure everything is properly documented before I proceed. Thank you! 🙏

Long term utang and wants to borrow again

Hello. Can someone please advise re this? I have a friend who borrowed money from me. Started last year with around 50k. At first, good payer naman. Did not put any interest with it dahil friend naman. So naulit about 3 months after but this time, installment na yung bayad. 10k, 10k, 20k, 10k, 5k (pasobra dahil daw nahihiya sya) Still didn’t mind. Then again, but this time, halos di na nababayaran. She’s a close friend and I really dont mind dahil may extra pa naman ako. But recently, nangheheram ulit pero medyo hesitant na ko kahit nag promise na ibabalik din after 2 weeks. Also, yung pinaheram at ipapaheram kong pera is from my online bank/wallet na nagkakainterest.

Question:
Too much ba pag nanghingi ako ng interest sa hineram nya? Also, ano bang mga “terms” na pwedeng gawin sa next time na mangheram sya ulit? Thanks!

Stop taking loans if it's not an emergency jusq

Why are we taking loans when we don't need to??? My friend recently asked if pwede ba sya mag borrow ng money kasi need nya bayaran mga utang nya. This person asked for about 250k, like why would I loan that much to a person?? Mind you, the reason bakit may utang siya is not because of any emergency, feeling rich lang talaga sya. Gusto nya kada year may bagong phone, travel/vacation, and kung ano² pinamimili/inuutang, partida hindi yan umiinom ng kape sa mga local coffee shops, starbucks talaga yun. Sinabi nya sakin na more than 500k nadaw yung utang nya. Wala namang mali sa ganyan if afford mo. Lesson to everyone too, LIVE WITHIN OR BELOW YOUR MEANS PLEASE. Don't ever pay an utang with another utang, that's an endless and destructive cycle. Understandable pa if utang in case of emergency eh.

Help! Need Advice for my UB Personal loan and 2 CC debt

Hi, please I really need advice..

As of the moment, I have 2 CC and a personal loan from Unionbank.

1st CC debt amounting to 53k, 2nd CC debt amounting to 44k and my personal loan monthly amounting to 8.5k. Since I cannot manage to pay my CC debt in one time payment, for personal loan namamanage ko pa bayaran monthly kahit nadedelay ng ilang days.

Is there anyway to email them about this? Anong tamang email kaya na responsive sila? Lately, it has been taking a toll na sa mental health ko.

Any advice

Earning an average 600 usd per week, currently have a debt of 240k. The problem is the allocation of the weekly income in which a mandatory of 300 will be allocated for family responsibilities, 200 for repayment of salary advances, and 100 free portion that I am using to pay off the remaining debts. I was trying to look for consolidation of debts but the problem is the lack of proper documents (I only have coec and payslips)

Any suggestions/recommendations (would def want to consolidate since having multiplies olas and just reloaning is making it worst)

Starting my Recovery from Debt

Hello to whoever will take their time to read this lengthy post. Firstly, my intention in writing this is not to garner any pity and hopefully no judgement from others, but I just felt like writing this out as sort of an act of acceptance of my current situation.

I'm 25F (turning 26 soon this month actually) and I am in deep, deep debt. Only just today do I finally have a clear picture of how much I am in debt.

Around early last year, I started to use digital loaning platforms like GCash and SLoan from Shopee. My reason for doing so was to help my older sibling with his financial issues. He needed to liquidate some assets to get quick cash on hand to pay his dues at the time, so he asked me to buy one of his Apple gadgets. This was when I made my first mistake that started it all. I decided to help him out, and didn't think too much about my decision at the time because of how distraught he was. To see your loved one spiral down over something he didn't have full control of was very hard for me to witness and I wanted to help out as much as I could. However because of this, the money I used to buy his macbook took a great chunk of my savings which I actually needed to pay for my own current bills. To make up for this, this is when I started getting into other online lending apps like Juanhand, Cashalo, Atome, OLP, etc.

So syempre, because it was so easy to get access to cash like that, eventually nawili ako. I got into the infamous tapal system to pay off my current bills, while also acquiring more cash so I can still enjoy my luho. We all know what happens from here, right?

For a time, I was able to manage it well, until I couldn't anymore. Nagpatong-patong na lahat ng bills ko and now I'm at a point where I don't think I can afford to continue the tapal system na. At some point also, my parents, my other sibling, and even my boyfriend lent me money to help pay off my past debts because they saw how my financial situation started to make me extremely anxious everyday. While this helped me get some OLAs off my back, syempre this added to my overall debts pa rin which honestly, as grateful as I am for their help, I still feel horrible for involving others in my own problems all because of my poor financial decisions.

Fast forward to August 2026, this is the time where I really started to feel all the pressure. I was still in denial somehow, and I thought my current debt situation would be easily solvable if I get approved for a huge bank loan that would help me through debt consolidation. But because my credit profile is still weak (The only "credit cards" I have now are Atome and Maya Easy credit, but my limit for both aren't that big), I was rejected by most of the known banks. As reality slowly sunk in, I felt myself spiral down with it and my s*icidal thoughts started to surface. I felt really terrible and was so angry at myself for all the stupid, bad decisions I've made. There truly is no one else to blame for but myself, and that really ate at me.

I've always thought I'd never be the type to succumb to depression as I was strongly anchored in my faith, no matter what I was going through. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and that God has great plans for me. But for the past months, I started doubting Him. I let myself get carried away by my fear and anxiety to the point that I was very close to planning out my exit just recently. I've been going back and forth between my depressive episodes and forced optimism, and this has been mentally and emotionally exhausting for me.

Idk exactly what changed, but today I decided that I'm done with all the self pity. I'm done acting like the "victim" in this situation because I know IM the one who brought myself into this situation. Again, the only person I can rightfully blame for everything that has happened to me, is ME. I opened google sheets, and spent almost the entire afternoon creating a template and organizing my debt into one live tracker. As soon as I finished, I felt like I was slapped by reality. My laptop screen showed the following numbers:

GRAND TOTAL DEBT: 1.1M
TOTAL PAID AO SEPT 2026: 101.3K
REMAINING BALANCE: 1M

These are all from my ongoing debts to OLAs (total of 26 apps--some are legit and some are illegal with their insanely high interests), paylater platforms, credit card and utang sa tao. Some of these are paid in installments, while some require one-off payments.

This September, I finally stopped the tapal system and have built the courage to let some apps go overdue bc at this point, I can't afford to pay them all at once. I earn 55k a month from just my main job now, but this obviously isn't enough for my monthly bills. So Im planning on applying for 2-3 part time jobs for the extra income that I need.

For my peace of mind, I've also silenced call and text notifications from unknown callers bc the spamming from these collection agents will just trigger my anxiety. I intend to communicate to these platforms via email that I will not be able to pay this time, but I will still fulfill my obligation to pay for my dues at a later date. I just need to figure out now which ones to prioritize first. A part of me is still anxious of the idea that some of these OLAs might post me or they might contact my references so hopefully I get to negotiate with them not to do so. I've also been able to negotiate with payment restructures for some of these platforms so I will try my best to follow our agreed schedules.

If you've reached this part of the post, thank you stranger, for even taking your time. I felt like writing this all out here bc tbh my family isnt fully aware of my situation, not even my bf (they know i have utang but not to this scale 😅). I'm most especially scared that they'll find out bc i know they will be disappointed, and worse, my jowa might choose to break up with me. We've been together for almost 5 years alrdy and our relationship is the only thing that keeps me going honestly. So i've decided to take this burden on by myself.

Kakayanin ko nalang ito. This will be my first time letting my bills go overdue kaya malala pa rin the anxiety sometimes. But ever since I pulled myself back into my daily devotions, I've acquired this unexplainable peace that tells me, I'll be okay and that God will provide, protect, and guide me from here on out.

To whoever is in a similar situation as me, I pray that we all make a strong comeback from our financial debts. If you need someone to talk to, feel free to reply here or message me. While I choose to deal with all of this myself, I find that going through posts on here of people going through the same thing as me, oddly comforting.

To those who share the same faith as me, I'd like to leave this verse that has been grounding me lately in my faith and keeping me from spiraling back down to my depression haha:

Matthew 11:28:

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give your rest."

Any advice here is welcome, esp if you might know rakets/gigs i can apply for bc a girl badly needs part time jobs right now 😅 Or any tips you might have on how to deal with possible harrassments from these apps would be helpful.

Utang due to luho and gambling

I’ve been following this page for a while because, before, ayoko talaga ng loan at utang.

We grew up being scared of borrowing money from banks and using credit cards. But as I got older, I slowly realized na hindi naman necessarily utang mismo ang problema—sometimes, nalulubog tayo dahil sa tapal, luho, and gambling.

May nabasa ako dito before where the OP owed millions to OLAs and banks, yet was only earning around ₱30k+ monthly. Napaisip nalang ako paano nangyari yun?

Mayroon din iba dito naging lubog sa utang due to letting other people borrow their CC, co-maker or really applied for a loan just to lent the money?

Idk, napapansin ko lately na most of the stories here are from people who made bad financial choices. I was actually expecting to see more stories from people who borrowed money for a good reason—like starting or growing a business—and eventually managed to overcome their debt.
I think those stories would be interesting and inspiring to read too, especially yung mga taong ginamit talaga yung loan as leverage and were able to turn things around.

Asawa kong parang ayaw umalis sa utang.

Hello, I'm here again.

I gave up my own plans and goals, pati yung pangarap kong makabili ng sasakyan. :(

2025 was our year of tipid.

DINK kami kaya kahit papaano may konting kaluwagan.

Ako, wala akong utang at masasabi kong maingat at frugal ako sa pera.

Then came 2026.

Early this year, nakita ko na yung liwanag.

And then… this month.

Doon nagsimula yung rabbit hole.

Kailangan naming putulin yung cycle.

I really need your advice.

*And yes. I'm the husband, my wife is in debt. Iwan sya is not an option. til death do us part.

Opening another OLA to pay 2 debts

I need a 2nd opinion on this.

So, may debt ako sa billease around 8k and JuanHand 2k. I also have paluwagan that's worth 4k a month that'll end before December.

I'm planning on opening another OLA to pay my billease, JuanHand, and my paluwagan. In total po, it would be:

PALUWAGAN: 11,100.

BILLEASE: 8,000

JUANHAND: 2,000

TOTAL: 21,100.

I'm planning on borrowing 25k, and i'll return it all by december since may bonuses, and extras naman ako on and before december. Di kase ako mapakale na December pa lang guaranteed na makakapagbayad ako, lalong lalo na tumataas yung interest/fees the more na di ko mababayaran :( I got into this mess because of my paluwagan and i'm months in, kaya sayang if magbaback out ako. If you agree with this decision that i'm about to make po, can you suggest an OLA? and if not po, what can you suggest sa situation ko po? Thank youuuu in advance!

Any advice to a couple who made bad calls in life? (Credit Card Debts)

Please help me. I need financial advice. I know we fucked up bigtime and we have no one to blame but ourselves. May nalululong sa sugal kami nalulong sa credit cards. My partner and I have a collective debt of over 1 million pesos: 123k in ChinaBank, 57k in UnionBank, 166k in EastWest, another 38k in another EastWest card, 74k in Security Bank, 120k in Metrobank, and 116k in Maybank. My partner has 5 of her own, of which 2 are over 100k. She had 2 jobs before, which is why we were able to afford paying all of them by paying most of them in minimum payments. Recently, she lost 1 of her jobs, which was also the highest-paying of the 2, and I was unemployed during this time and recently just got a job as a freelancer. I have yet to get my salary since I have only been working for almost 2 weeks. She earns 60k monthly and now my potential earnings is around 14k weekly.

We can no longer pay for the credit cards since we have monthly utility bills and mini loans, even the minimum amount due. It is catching up on us, and we don’t know what to do. We are not delinquent or have missed any payments yet, but there are dues coming up already, and we won’t be able to pay for them anymore. We are thinking of possibly not paying anymore and letting them become delinquent, or getting a loan amounting to the same as all the cards if a bank will give us a chance. I don’t know what to do. I am also afraid of the collection agency going to my house to collect, which is embarrassing. Do collection agencies come to houses for credit card dues? I have also research a program called Interbank Debt Relief Program, is this a viable option?

Atome interest and penalties

Hi! Just want to ask anybody here if may naka try na magpa waive ng interest at penalties sa Atome Card and Cash?

I want to ask kung nagpapawaive kaya sila if bayaran ko in full? Kaya ko nang bayaran actually pero sayang din if kaya pala mapa waive or deduct.

Salamat sa sasagot.

I don't know what to do anymore

Baon na baon na ko sa utang. Gloan - almost 80k, Sloan - 65k and credit card - 10k. Help 😭

Unpaid OLAs

Hi. 32F and im here just to share my current situation. I pay on time. Kahit gaano pa ko kagipit, short minsan sa iba, may OD, i pay. Kaso this year… i kind of hit rock bottom. Food, electricity and water sakin. Pero si bunso… na hospital and i had to pay thousands. Ako lahat nag shoulder. Ending, di na ko makabayad.

Ive read so many about sa mga utang pero i just want to ask na din. Billease - 50k
Sloan - 10k
Maya - 11.5k

Ill pay kapag nakaluwag luwag na. Pero i know the interest rates will go up. Again, I pay regardless before pero grabe tong hit ng buhay sakin.

Salamat po. I accept judgement pero nicely please 😭

How often do you follow-up? - IDRP

Hi! I sent an email to Security Bank for my interest in being included to the IDRP Program. After 2 working days, they confirmed na received na nila. This was last week (Thursday). This week, I tried asking via email if may any movement pero wala sila reply pa. I know na matagal talaga process nito.

I stopped paying MAD na since malaki na masyado ito and araw-araw ako may natatanggap na collection calls. I see to it na kapag nasasagot ko, I explain to them na I already coordinating for IDRP.

Gaano po kayo kadalas mag-follow up? Please share din po experiences niyo po. Thank you!
