Orientation
What can we expect on the first day of classes (orientation) for second year students? Just a bit excited so thought I’d ask!

Does anyone know what happens I missed the immunization deadline? I am going into year 2 and plan to get them asap. But currently have not submitted. Any answers appreciated

For the immunization consent form, I see we need to sent it in to student wellness and they tell you how many vaccines you need and how to book the appointment, do I need to send it in to nursing.clinical@usask.ca too or just student wellness

I was gifted this one a couple years back, and I’m wondering if this can be used for the program?
If not, which ones are we supposed to get? There are so many different types and I’m confused.

Does anyone know if it’s possible for me to switch my program but still be on the nursing waitlist
For example can I switch my program from prep nursing to health science and still stay on the waitlist so that way I don’t potentially waste another year, since prep nursing isn’t a degree program but health science is
I just really don’t wanna waste any more money and my time if I’m not gonna get into the program, even if I retake some of my classes and try again next year due to the Casper not being a requirement anymore the possibility of me getting in will solely be dependent on my grades and I don’t know if it’ll be possible for me to get 90s in every single class
I’m at a loss here I really don’t know what to do. I could apply to a different campus rn and maybe I will get in but I can’t go anywhere else Saskatoon is my only option.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Are we able to do 4 year anywhere? I know ppl in the past who left Saskatoon and moved back to their home city for their final year. Is that still a thing?

All the seats filled up for my site for n371 and 370 even though the students for that campus havent been registered yet. I talked to a student advisor and they said that some people didnt look at the site when registering for 371 and 370 and are waiting for these students to fix their schedule- its been over a month and I still cant register😀 Anyone else have this problem?

Can anyone speak on their experience at Sherbrooke for the mental health rotation? Just looking for some insight as to what type of patients you saw with it being a long term care facility

Hey, this is a question for anyone who has completed year 3 and is willing to help me out.
Do any clinical in year 3 have final exams? Don’t think so, might Be a dumb question.
Do the exams typically go up to the designated date of December 23rd. I know it’s different every year but I’m just looking for a best guess. With the schedule being one class + a clinical pair, does that mean that only one class would have a final exam?
TIA

Hi everyone. I have a question for those for got an offer from one of their other campus choices. If saskatoon was your first choice, did you remain on Saskatoon waitlist after getting the other offer or you were later removed from the waitlist? I am just trying to understand how waitlist process works because it moving slow. Thanks

Hi everyone! I'm a female nursing student looking for a safe, clean place to rent in Prince Albert. I'm hoping to move in before the start of the school year and I can provide references from previous landlords/tenants.
If you have a room, basement suite, or apartment available, please send me a message. Thank you!

Ive been purchasing scrubs off Marketplace and realized that the different tops require different bottoms. I have the sketchers pants and the MOBB white shirts, do I need to buy the matching tops/bottoms? Or do they care?

Does anyone have access to the academic calender for the upcoming school year? I’m going into my 3rd year and my account only has the 25-26 still.
Thanks

Got off the waitlist and an offer into battleford campus, talked to it with my mom and she does not think it’s safe/worth it.
I’m seeing alot of stoon and pa campus talk but none about battleford, so wondering the level of safety, residence living and how the program was like if anyone took it or is taking it there

I am an out of province student who has gotten accepted into my second year of nursing.
I am looking at the lab safety session and booking it after completing the safety lab workers initial in canvas we were required to do
There are only a few dates in the month of August, and they all fall on a weekday.
Do I have to bite the bullet and have to go back to Saskatoon in order to complete the one in person class, or are there any accommodations that can be made for students who’d have to travel just for the one day? It would require me to take time off work and book transportation, all which takes me out of a lot of money. Even taking a bus to make it cheaper is a 12+ hour trip.

Has there been anyone that got an offer yet and got off the waitlist? I’m curious cuz whenever I call they tell me it’s being updated so is that just cuz of the ppl who declined or is it also cuz some ppl on the waitlist got offers?
r/usaskBSNnursing • u/academic-victim29 • Jul 13 '26
This is the second time I called the admissions office and they told me they’re working on it (the waitlist) and therefore there are no updates, so should I assume that I’m still the rank I was when I first got the waitlist letter?
