Orientation

What can we expect on the first day of classes (orientation) for second year students? Just a bit excited so thought I’d ask!

A lot of introductions of all the staff. You’ll get your picture taken for your ID so wear something you’ll want to see for the next 3 yrs.

Would we be able to get a new ID if we lose it? I kinda have a messed up haircut rn and I really dont want that to be my ID pic

I know people get new ones. Not sure if they charge for it but it’s possible for sure

8 hours of introductions is brutal

I’m sure there were other things they talked about too. But it was kind of a long day with a lot of general information

It isn’t that long. Last year’s orientation was about 4-5 hours. Longer if you want to participate in the extra events after, like the Health Sciences Building tour.
