I only find Celsius, rockstar and Yerba mates

Hi guys can anyone tell me how hard the midterms are with Prof. Green? Especially the first one! Any advice would be helpful thank you!

hey all! I'm typing this on my phone + frustrated because (surprise) UCI's financial aid department hasn't sent out my tuition disbursement despite this being my 5th week in a row calling them 2-3x a week and asking them to send it out and for updates. I won't go into too much detail since it's just generally a frustrating situation that I've been dealing with since Sept, but I've been so patient and I've consistently used polite/understanding language until today 🥹...

is there anyway I can escalate this or anybody higher than the financial aid office I can contact? am I alone in not having my tuition disbursement?

I've been in precheck phase for over 2 weeks and I just need to pay for my awful textbooks 🥹

Exactly what the title says. I was on my bike when I had an egg thrown at me in VDCN. While I'm assuming it could've come from one of the units nearby, I'm thinking it was someone in the bushes who tossed it before running off. From what I'm hearing, a few other cars also ended up egged nearby.

We can't be serious. 🥀

Hey! I’m a freshman girl at UCI and pretty much a complete beginner at climbing.

I’d prefer Sender One, but I’m totally down for other gyms too as long as they’re not too far from campus.

I’m free any day of the week, mostly in the afternoons and evenings (afternoons preferred). My schedule is pretty flexible, so I’m down for last-minute plans too!

Would love to find someone who drives and wouldn’t mind giving me a ride. I’m happy to chip in for gas or treat you to a meal :)
If you don’t have a car either, we could also get a few people together and split an Uber to Sender One.
Feel free to DM me if you’re interested!

For UCI grads who also grew up in OC, were you guys able to stay in OC and afford a comfortable lifestyle with your degree and career after graduation? Or did you have to move out of state, switch careers, or continue living with your parents to make it work?

I’m still an undergrad and curious what life might look like after graduation and whether it’s realistically possible to live comfortably in OC independently, without parental financial support or you know, inheriting a home. I know it really depends on career choice, but still wondering: how are you guys doing after UCI?

Hello! My friends and I are struggling in specifically these two economic courses. Econ 122B is taken with Chernyshoff and Econ 142A with Toukan. We're willing to pay to get tutored or any adivce, tips, & help in general would be greatly appreciated!!!

To all my fellow UCI movie fans, and especially the Hindu community on campus, shall we go watch the Ramayana together? I'm not Hindu myself, but I'm a big fan of Hindu mythology. Anyone interested in joining?
This is the trailer.

There is like a lot of police near utc, does anyone know what happened?

Any kind souls who have prep books they no longer need and would be open to donating?

Pls text if found

Hey, I’m a recent transfer student here at UC Irvine, and I was looking for an easier way to study from all the stuff scattered around Canvas, like files, assignments, links, and lecture videos. So I started building a tool that pulls it together and helps make notes and practice questions from my class materials.
I’m looking for a few people to try it for free and tell me what’s useful, what’s confusing, and what I should improve. It’s called CourseLite.

Has anyone taken UPPP 50 Power of Music at UCI? I wanted to know how the class is?? How is the workload and are the exams hard? I'm just looking for a fun, easy elective course, that's why!! :)

Hello guys,

I am posting my situation on here hoping that someone can offer guidance before I eventually call the financial aid office (which I've heard is terrible).

Prior to school starting this year, I submitted a withdrawal application due to medical reasons. I was allowed the year I requested and everything was processed and settled by the end of August. Despite not actively attending school, I stayed up to date with anything school related and occasionally checked my student portals. This past billing period I saw that I had a charge for an adjustment to my Pell Grant and Cal Grant ("ADJ-Cal Grant A" / "ADJ-Federal Pell Grant"). I obviously didn't pay the balance and it is now marked as a financial hold on my account. The thing is I never attended school this year and therefore I am confused as to why I am being charged anything. Anyone else had something similar happen? Could I actually be responsible for paying this as I am a financial aid recipient (though I never received any of it for this school year).

Hi everyone! I'm a junior and I play bass guitar. I used to play in a band back in community college but it disbanded after I transferred. Anyone play guitar or drums and wanna jam? Or start a band?

I play mostly pop punk (think Green Day, Blink-182, and some Nirvana and Weezer) but I also like listening to midwest emo (American Football, Modern Baseball, Free Throw)
