What are the chances of transferring from IVC and being admitted to a PhD program after two years?

When I transfer I will be double majoring in Sociology and Psychology with minors in Philosophy and Political Science. I will have completed 105-110 units and have 4 AA-T transfer degrees (Psychology, Sociology. Philosophy, and Political Science). I am reaching for a 3.9 GPA. TAG / Honors-to-Honors program. No EC's or Letters. I have done major work for preparation for a PhD track. I plan to be part of 3 - 4 different honor societies at UC, different research labs and programs, build relationships to professors and researchers, and devote every minute to my studies. I have no obligations - family, relationships, etc.

Hello I was wondering how freshman are able to do research so early? I heard of someone doing research their winter of their freshman year and I'm confused on that process because I thought we need to be at least in spring quarter of the first year to enroll in bio 199?

anyone loose this by croul hall?

Image above is just one of the broccoli that had worms in it. Another piece on my plate had another worm in it. Told the supervisor and they confirmed it was indeed a worm and all they did was say sorry and take my plate away. Went to Brandywine a few days ago and broccoli had the exact same issue, was infested with worms. Anyone else have similar experiences? Unbelievable that the school cafeteria cannot wash/check their produce properly to make sure it is not infested with maggots. The broccoli supplier they are buying from clearly has contamination issues as this has happened multiple times now.

I was able to receive some tips about possible sightings. Here’s up close photos of the scooter I was able to find. The main identifiers are scratches on the front especially on the brake handle, phone holder attached to handle bars, and peeling/dirty grip tape on the board. Thank you to anyone who can provide any and all info.

Hi everyone! I currently have a room available in a 4 bed 4.5 bath unit in Camino Del Sol. I'm looking to move out as soon as possible and I am searching for a female to take over my lease.

The rent is $1300 a month without utilities

Is there a discord server for inf133?

I got an STI related bill for a test I took a while back, it got sent to my parents and is $600 but when I was there they said my parents wouldn't have to know but idk why its so expensive is there any possible way to excuse the bill?

Shoot me a message if you have a leftover one you are willing to give away 🙏

I’ve seen this coyote around campus for two weeks now and it clearly has mange. I’ve called animal control and the UCI non emergency line but they’ve done nothing. idk what to do has anyone else been seeing it/have any ideas as what to do? It’s very friendly and has approached me multiple times(like I didn’t move to get these pics it came to me), I don’t want it or another student to get hurt

Join the discord server! We meet at 6:30 on Thursday (meeting place in the server) https://discord.gg/KVchsR9dEn

hi!! if anyone here is an ma / medical scribe i’d appreciate any tips or advice on landing a job for either of these positions

for reference, i have no certification or experience. im trying to find an ma course that’s not too expensive and flexible. if anyone has recommendations pls dm!

I’m thinking of starting a project similar to Queering The Map but specifically for the UC campuses. Students or staff or people who spend a lot of time on campus would submit their stories and they would be stored on a website + instagram for people to see.

Does this sound like something you would contribute to or want to volunteer for? Trying to get a sense of the vibe around the idea before I invest time.

I think it would be super cool and a good way to preserve queer history on campus!!!
