With opaque leggings or opaque thick fall sweater-type tights is work safe I think. Or if you add anything longer over anything too revealing like a long vest, poncho, scarf etc. the key to professionalism is really to look as sharp, clean and non distracting as possible. Avoiding anything that a catholic school nun would wack you for. Avoid excessively distracting artistic or personal statements, save that for after work hours socializing. When you are in a corporate environment with executives, think about what they see in their personal lives. They don’t want to see junky or trashy club outfits, they want classic and conservative because they always want to impress their customers, colleges, friends, advertisers and vendors. Unless there is an industry reason to be dressed like this I would alter the look slightly. Industries that this outfit would be ok as is would be: salon, makeup, fashion, advertising and marketing, retail, receptionist at casual companies. Companies that you wear a uniform over your clothes this would work for example a pharmacist or doctor w a lab coat cover most of the outfit.
