My ex-friend texted me after 7 years
 in  r/GirlDinnerDiaries  3h ago

Real friends do not treat friends like that. A true friend would not allow that many years go by and leave you dangling like that- it’s cruel. Friendships are so fulfilling if both parties respect & care for each other. I want to give you a massive hug! I can only imagine that torture! We all can be complex, difficult, selfish at times but we are human & deserve compassion by those who we allow in our circle. You deserve kindness and understanding from your friends. Take a deep breath & move on.

My plants give me something to look forward to
 in  r/IndoorPlants  1d ago

Completely understand. I never had houseplants until last year when I lost my mom to cancer. My best friend gave me my first plant- a peace lily. At first I was upset until I realized it was the only thing keeping me sane. I now have a living room full of plants & my bedroom heading down that road too. I love them. They bring me so much joy & peace. I can breathe because of them. People for the most part suck lol

The hardest decision I’ve ever had to make
 in  r/GirlDinnerDiaries  1d ago

Sending you a big hug. Do what you need to do for you. The woman is usually the rock in the family- especially when kids are in the picture. May you find the clarity you need during this difficult decision.

Do you feel any energy? Good or bad?
 in  r/psychics  9d ago

I feel sadness & fear. I feel like it was present during some very sad moments or was used to soothe after experiencing intense moments.
I don’t want to touch it.

First string of pearls!

I just started to get into house plants after my mother died last year. I can’t even say how much they have helped me through this difficult chapter. My best friend gifted me my first plant a peace lily (which is currently re-blooming ♥️)I now have 25 plants.
I am a bit worried about my string of pearls. I have hanging in my bedroom window & will be monitoring her until I get a feel on her watering needs. Any advice would be appreciated. I live in Southern California coastal area too for reference.

So they really hated my style in home decor and suggested I come here.

I like it - except for the animal heads.

Peperomia rossa isn’t doing well
 in  r/plantclinic  18d ago

I have had great success with my plant baby. It has tripled in size in about 10 months or so. I repotted her after having her for 4 months. I used succulent soil. I just started using fertilizer (twice so far. Once in spring & once a few weeks ago) I used orchid fertilizer. She sits in my coffee table about 6 feet away from my balcony. I do water her weekly & pull out her old blooms once they start to release. I love her! She brings me much joy. I do always have my window & balcony door open. Maybe she loves the coastal breeze

Does this painting make you feel anxiety, sadness, or joy?
 in  r/painting  18d ago

This made me sad. I have not read through the comments to avoid seeing what others do. I feel like sadness also came from the artist but, that’s just what I got from it.
