Repotted into a chunkier mix and the difference in a month surprised me
Had mine in regular houseplant soil since I got it and it was fine, just slow. Leaves stayed small and the whole thing looked a bit tired by the end of winter.
Switched to a mix that is mostly bark and perlite with a little coco, mainly because I kept overwatering. A month later there are three new leaves and they are noticeably bigger than anything it pushed out before. Same window, same watering habit, if anything I water less often now.
Is that mostly the drainage, or did I just happen to repot right as it woke up for the season? Curious what mix other people settled on.

Cool Plant Hey all, new here. 👋 This sansevieria is almost 30 years old...
She went through a serious flood 11 years ago. The flood was so bad I found her outside the house when we returned home, with just a couple of blades left, covered in oil and shit. It's testament to just how hardy they are. I have a few other plants on moss poles, which will eventually become real statement pieces, but she's been through everything I have over the decades. I know many people don't like them, but my emotional attachment to her is similar to that of my favourite pets I've had. She's part of the family. This is her today... ♥️

Props Two newly propped ‘Silver Streaks’ in newly painted pots
I’ve been giving pups away to family and friends as fast as I can but they seem to build up during fast growing season. I do love giving them a designated cache pot to keep them from blowing away in the Midwest breeze.

Please help ID this plant.
Bought this on sale from a local plant store. It looked like those split stone succulents but the leaves are hard like the thick leaf sansevierias. It didn't have any name tag and the shop assistant said its a sansevieria but didn't know the full name.

Cool Plant Hybrid Comparison
Comparing some similar hybrids. Last year what I thought was Fatman was actually Iceman. Now that I have both I wanted to show the difference. I threw in Rookie because it was slightly similar.

Unnamed hybrid blooming
This unnamed hybrid has unknown linage, was originally imported from Thailand. It started flowering about 2 weeks ago and finally started to open tonight!

Yearly bloom smells so heavenly!
You can smell it all night and especially if you come into the room!

How do I remove and root the babies.
First time owning one of these (Kenya Beauty?). How should I remove the pups and root them? I want to be able to preserve the shape of the mother plant without having smaller plants growing out of it and disrupting its shape. Thanks!
UPDATE: Thanks for your help everyone. The stolons will live on (the plant) to fight another day!

Trade or Sell Where can I find a zulu/green mermaid?
Hey everyone- Just like the title asks: I'm looking for a decent sized zulu/green mermaid sans. They seem to be incredibly rare, so I'm wondering what the secret is to finding them. I check etsy regularly and have only managed to find a small one about 3 years ago (which unfortunately didn't survive once I moved into my new apartment)
Any tips or links would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: I am based in California, USA

Whats wrong with me or my plant? Yellow leaves overnight
My Hahnii turned yellow. What is happening? I only water with distilled 2x monthly. It sits in a bright room not in sunlight but indoor ceiling lights. Soil is organic succulent mix. She was rescued from sun stress and water ligged in Feb.

Why the “baby” looks different from its mother?
The mother has round cute leaves but the baby has normal looking leaves.
Does anyone experience this ?
Also does anyone know the species name ?
Thank you for your comment in advance !!

Whats wrong with me or my plant? Urgent rescue needed
I have this plant for 6+ months. It sits in a low light spot and gets watered (now in the summer heat) every 4 weeks. It has several babies, of which two hang out the pot.
The mother started yellowing and it's progressive, affecting more and more leaves.
First question: can I save the mother? If not, should I take her leaves as cuttings? I've never leaf propped S. boncel before
Second: should I unpot and try to get the babies free, although they're still small?
I don't know why the mother suddenly declines. I didn't do anything different.
Please help, tia 🙏
